Owner said they no longer take campers. So we headed to Placencia as other spots here did not seem up to much.

small cheap hotel without confort. toilet are outside of the room. I paid 12500fcfa for one night with breakfast. bar and restaurant very close

Fravel allweather driveway next to a couple hydroponic tomato greenhouses. Not recomended for travel trailers. Portable bathroom available during summer fall months. Water hookup available as well. Keep out of the employees way during summer months they work early morning to avoid heat of the day. $5/night. If you need internet or power another $5. Nice and quiet, clean. $25 for tent site. Beware, currently this camp has a notice for active distemper. Looks like some nice hiking trails, on a golf course. Loved hearing the owls at night!

Super nice food and fresh.
Trout grilled with salat and fresh french fries, plus rice and a big platte of soup for 3 USD.

Do not miss the HOME MADE FRENCH FRIES, extra plate for a 1,50 USD !!

the place is really nice but don't expect to find big hot pool...
there's just a little hot waterfall (36°) and a little hot pool (45°, we couldn't get in...). The water is "dirty" (I mean, it's naturally dirty with algae and mud) with little worms...
You can use the parrilla and stay for the day.
The road to get to aguas calientes is steep but the view simply stunning.

Brazil and Uruguay immigration office. There is a parking lot at right side coming from Artigas. Opened 07 to 19 all days.

Very friendly and accommodating owners. We did the primitive campsites $20 per night. Fire pits, jbins, hot showers, very clean bathrooms and lake location, plenty of space and privacy couldn’t ask for much more. Just of the i25 hwy approx 30min north of Chattanooga on the route that will take you to Nashville, the owners will even bring the camp wood down to you:) great spot for a stop, we also arrived on a Friday and 1 night was perfectly fine most of the other places near Chattanooga wanted a min of 2 days.

Quiet at night. Wifi free.

$400p +/- for Pizza, $70p beers. Way too high for us, so instead we grabbed a big fresh loaf of cranberry nut bread for $150p.

when I arrived at the port and people asked me if I've got a reservation I said I want to stay a Inka terra and two people told me it's closed and used to be open but since many years it isn't there anymore. not sure if they just said it to get me to book a new location.

I took another one along the way as the way up is suuuuper exhausting when you come with all your belongings. I stayed in La cabanas for 40 BOB with a private bathroom and really good WiFi.

anyway, I went to Inka terra and it looks closed BUT I didn't ask. maybe it's still there.

restaurant in front of it (Pachamama) is good and cheap for being on an island

excelente lugar, no hay casi viento y podes pasar una noche y quizas mas sin problemas. Por error escribí en otro que dice "next to river" yo no estuve ahí! pero recomiendo 100% este lugar

muy bueno el camping! nos cobraron $40 pesos por personas y $50 por la carpa, seguramente por ser temporada baja, aún así debe ser el camping mas barato en toda la patagonia! suele haber mucho viento...

bueno!! hay una cama con dos colchones un poco viejo, pero si pones tu bolsa de dormir encima esta todo bien, hay una estufita a leña para calentarse y cocinar. recuerde limpiar el lugar al salir!

Great and quiet spot, no host at this time.
Almost no garbage to be seen, let's keep it this way.

The hotel is really nice and the beach next to it is quiet and peaceful. They let us park overnight without any questions asked. We had dinner at the restaurant and watched the sunset. We felt very safe sleeping here and woke up to the sound of waves next to us. Definitely highly recommend this stop.

Closed, day use only for now. Website says no septic, cleaning pool and campground under construction.

We find a place close and dark after go o ver and over from S to N in the Panamericana. 😏
