Parked rig on side of road and jogged back in to assess access. Couldn’t find “spectacular river views “ I saw the runway and a truck with tent parked off to side but no river views. Didn’t feel comfortable driving down airstrip to see if it was further down as we are in a big rig. But a big rig could park. Chose to move on.

The market is open 24 hours, so it supports water, bathroom, or food. I spent a quiet night in the parking lot.

Unreal views of Rainier, perfect if you want to see Rainier at sunrise and sunset. We stayed in the overnight parking lot along with some others and didn't have any problems. No wifi, clean toilets and water.

This is the place to stay in Prudhoe Bay/Deadhorse is you want some luxury after a loooong, cold and wet ride up the Dalton. Rooms are 125 USD a night, but this includes 3 meals of utter fantastic food of all types, with coffee, tea, softdrinks, cakes, desert, ice cream etc etc etc. Theres also fast wifi and the room has private bathroom with very hot showers.
The place is mostly for oil field workers and other workers in Prudhoe Bay but they welcome other guests as well. In fact they were all a very friendly bunch of people! Highly recommended!
Located vis a vis the Prudhoe Bay General Store.

At the indicated coordinates is nothing. Right before there are three shelters, one with a tiny house and two beds. The others have a long distance toilet and fireplaces. Even an oven. Very wet and many mosquitoes though.

The campsites are very dusty, but neat with good amenities. It is clean and neat and well kept. The campsites are not on the main river though, but on a small side stream. At P200 pppn it is fairly expensive. You are however to use the swimming pool and coffee, tea and cookies are free to enjoy at the lodge. The staff are very friendly and the internet is good. Internet is however only available at the lodge. The lodge was about 15 minutes walk from our campsite, but the paths are beautifully kept with lights at night. We heard elephants fairly close by every evening and the deer are walking around. There lots of monkeys around all the time, so you can't leave any food unattended. Beautiful birds around also.

We stayed here two nights. Can’t be seen from the main road but quite a few locals went back and forth. The first afternoon the people that went past waved but didn’t come over to speak to us. On the second night a few lads came to chat with us for a while. They said it was absolutely fine for us to camp there. In the morning they came back with a huge bag of plums for us. Very rocky/bumpy track but should be possible in 2WD that has good ground clearance. We stayed about 50m further away from the river in a large flat area, however by not being next to the river there were lots of flies and mosquitoes.

Great motorcycle parts and accessories store right next to the Puma station. It’s small when you walk inside, but this is one of the best moto tiendas I’ve seen in four months of travelling Latin America.

Super mechanic specialised on oil-change. All done in 15 minutes without appointment. Very nice people. I made also tire-rotation (DIY) and was allowed to use their equipment.

Gonzalo is a good and entertaining host, the staff is very friendly. The menu has a good variety, food as well as cocktails are excellent. We stayed a few days at this peacefull place and parked our motorhome close to the lake. 15 Soles/person/night and 5 Soles/night for electricity.

Free spot next to the 1000 island parkway, no sign, kind of a pull off! Second time here!
Close to the road so except noise , but quiet between 11pm-6am, great view, mosquitoes by night
Weird cellphone coverage, on the Canada side but got the American signal!

Right next to the M35 road, brand new " shopping mall" owned by a family (Russian speaking, only the daughter speaks a bit of English).
You will find here everything you need :
- Free toilets (clean!)
- Mini Market
- Pharmacy
- Hairdresser
- Video Games room
- Probably a restaurant, but only in the evening

The "shopping mall" is closed during the hottest part of the day.

As per other reviews, clean place to have a shower. 1 shower available with separate clean, spacious washroom. Still $2/15min for the shower. You need to bring your own loonies as no there’s change machine on site. There’s a basketball court to use whilst you wait for laundry.

Pretty gorgeous spot on a sunny day. Million dollar views, all for free! 🤩 Level concrete pad with space for one van/small rig. You’re hidden enough from the road above so it’s quite private. The road is dusty but didn’t blow down to us. You can hear the road noise but you can hear the soothing ocean too so it’s worth it. Once it’s dark, it is very quiet and peaceful.

Big gravel space on a hill next to the road. Quiet at night as few cars use the road and you can hear a couple birds.

There’s a couple fire pits and small hills nearby to take a quick stroll if you have the time.

As described. Directly off highway, little clearing with a fire ring. Really only space for one vehicle, two if you want to be squeezed in really tight. Exit from highway is a bit steep, so this really isn’t for anything over 21-24’ max. Solid cell service and close to the park.

You can fill up your water tank here. There are taps left and right of the street at the cafés. Slow taps, but still good.

It's a military checkpoint. We told them we are on our way to Georgia and they let us go through without any paperwork. All other cars had to stop to do some administration.
