It's an abandoned rural school. I was travelling with my bicycle and another traveller told me about that place. It's a good spot to spend the night. Not recommended if you are afraid of bats, there are some nests inside the building.😄

A small playground at the lake. You can grill here, swim and enjoy the nature.

Stayed here one night in mini van. It was perfectly fresh, quiet and dark night, slept like a baby! And the morning was amazing too, totally recommend. We stayed in the upper parking lot cause our car did not have 4x4 and we were afraid we would get stuck in the dunes (as one other car coming from the beach in the middle of the night).
If you want to stay overnight (after 8pm) you pay 14 dollars. Cold outside showers available and toilets with running water. (the Annual National Park card does not apply here)

big flat area for many tents. at one spot you can hide from the westwind ( there fits only one tent). Hidden from the street. small stream near by but also signs of many animals. 100 meters more east there is a ruine, also good to hide from the wind but not so good to hide from the street ( and it's not very clean).

great mountain views!!

First come, first served. It gets very crowded on summer weekends and sometimes gets loud from the partying campers. Not a whole lot of privacy. It also floods occasionally when there is a lot of rain, the Ranger will notify everyone before that happens. Good salmon and brookie fishing in the dead water right next to the campground. There are a few tent sites, along the river, behind the gravel pit.

Small campsite on banks of Illinois River. Can park on grass if no hookups required. Lovely situation. Town centre short walk. Quiet. $5 for our small camper no hookups. Deb the host when we visited.

You can take a wonderful Pictutre of Torontos Skyline. If day or night it doesn't matter.

Horrible loud disco music from 21:00 to 5:30(!) on Saturday. Better check the weekday before staying here!

Great plage and easy to reach. The last mile of gravel you might have to take it a bit slower. Very quiet, even if it got busy during the weekend with locals coming to enjoy the place. They were parking on the main lot. The big grass camping has lots of space with everything from class A to small campers and tents. You probably always will have some friendly neighbor. Decent Verizon signal. Saw wild moose.

There are broken glass, piles of trash and animal carcasses....quiet and we don’t see anyone here tonight. Truly wish people are not so inconsiderate with their trash. ;-( Many many spaces in all directions.

Slept here last night. Nice and quiet. I got spot lighted at about 4am but no one knocked on my doors. There was a fire pit but it was not in the plans. A large boulder was moved also to allow boat access. Those things might have been the reason for the drive by. Who knows. Cheers!

Perfect spot, as described. Very flat, just a bit tricky to bring the bicycles to the place. As usual, beware of scorpions and snakes.

Amazing look out point, on top of brazos. Quite peaceful and beautiful. Small pull out with tables. Great place to overnight. It’s close to a road but at least the road is less traveled.

Yes, now you can overnight here only for a fee - 10usd or 180pesos. As big poster at the entrance says its now RV park.
In reality its just a dirt lot by the ocean. No amenities. Sunset was great. We were only ones in the parking lot. We had a good night sleep. Overall nice place.

Camping on the river as discribed. They offered us a tour (2p small boat) for 700 R 4hours, starting at 7 am next day. We finally agreed on a full day trip for 900 incl lunch, out in the Pantanal. After 4 h the captain returned to the port and terminated the trip. He had some argumenting during the last hour via wireless. After some discussion the boss insisted on the 700 but offered us a free lunch, we finally accepted. There were some new tourists at the place, I expect he could sell a trip for a better price. I cannot recommend this place.

We stayed at the parking lot with no problem at all. Ee asked at the main entrance if we could stay at night and they said it was not problem.
Public toilets are inside but are opened the whole night and what is better they do have showers. Best hot shower ever in the whole trip. For free. Nobody ask you anyrhi g if you go sttaight to the toilet. Night time was very cold.

Excellent backpackers. Extra clean toilets, very friendly staff. The area around the fire is very nice. They have a small and clean swimming pool. Fantastic! I camped on the parking for 140R.

Nice clean and secure place. A bit pricey for camping. Camped in a gravel parking lot but there are a few trees and shade. Okay wifi. Pool looks nice. Bathrooms and nice and clean. Host is very kind and speaks English
