Beautiful site in the forest, but expensive. Drop toilet only, now water, pets allowed. Three nights max. Now AUD 11 per person per night payable through honesty box. Near Arboretum and some nice walks in the neighbourhood. No Telstra reception.

Second time here. Some people told me it was closed but not true. Still friendly staff and decent rooms for a decent price but not always clean

I wasn't able to find this place.

A quite location in Mbale. An ideal stop before or after the border at Busia. The hotel is very clean and the staff are so caring. The grounds of the hotel are picturesque, just the setting for a cold beer under the shade of a tree. Comfortable beds come with mozzie nets. Linen is new and white. The double en-suite room was $20. Dinner is also served, best to order early. Wifi average but was told it’s usually better. There is ample parking, gated and guarded.

Good place to stop for the night between Cartagena and Medellin. Basic room with AC and a fan, Decent WiFi, tv, 30K per person. Swimming pool where you can buy beer and hang out in pool area, which we really enjoyed after a long hot ride. We parked our motorbikes right outside our room. Plenty of parking for other vehicles. Restaurant serves dinner for 12K most meals.

This place doesn’t exist!! We drove all the way here to find out that it’s a neighbourhood of houses.

Though it is close to town Zarechnyy, this spot is pure nature. There is plenty of space to pitch a tent or park a vehicle. All green, lots of wood for fire, access to water (not sure if drinkable, but clean), pretty quiet place but some locals come at times. We found some mushrooms, lots of raspberries and black current. Megafon 3G connection. We found this place by accident because another spot on iOverlander in this town was not accessible by big vehicle. Better access from a paved road that leads to the river. 4x4 not needed if it’s not raining, but be aware of tricky tree roots. Overall amazing place to camp before entering Ekaterinburg.

We found it hard to find a place to stay for a night before entering Tumen, and camped along the road. In the morning we saw this location, didn’t camp here but recommend it to others. Looked good, clear space for vehicles, forest, near the lake, some locals come. Perhaps it helps someone. Cheers!

It’s just a yard free parking (“dvor” in Russian) behind a residential building. Very quiet at night, supermarket close, bushes, plenty of place. Right in the center of the city, where Pokrovka street starts. Nobody bothered us in our motorhome, but obviously it’s not a place to pitch a tent. А nice option to spend the night before exploring the city.

It’s a house for couchsurfers and hitchhikers. There is a commune of punks/theatre people/musicians that accepts good people for free. Looks sketchy, but it’s safe and trustworthy (we came at night and they hosted us though we only said we knew this place from some hitchhikers that rode with us). You can park near the house or pitch a tent near or sleep for free in the house, use toilet and cold shower. They are 420 friendly and play guitar a lot, there are cats and a dog. 3G works great. Tell them you heard of this place from hitchhikers in Russia.

Nice place, green, calm and some fisherman in the morning. Access preferably 4x4. Megafon 3G works great. Somebody stole our garbage at night and chewed on my flip-flops, I guess in was a fox or a wolf.

Crossing Georgia to Turkey on motorcycle. Insurance CAN be purchased on Turkish side from a small office right next to cafe. Motorbike has to be left at border, and insurance can be bought by walking across. Hope this helps someone.

Per Zufall entdeckte ich diesen tollen Kirmesplatz. Diverse Fahrgeschäfte und Musik wird geboten. Und man kann ganz gut essen hier.
Parkplatz direkt davor und kostenlos.
Ich bin ohne Kinder hier und es war toll. Entspannend.

Gated, off-street parking in a safe neighborhood but the gate remains unlocked so just take your valuables inside.

Quite place at a big clearing in the forest. We drove almost till the end and found a nice place a bit uphill to the right. Therefore 4x4 is recommended. But you can also stay a bit nearer to the road without 4x4. A lot of space for any kind of vehicles. Even on a weekend, we saw only two locals with their cars picnicking. Completely quite at night. Internet signal depends on your spot. We had 4G with Telekom but there are also spots without connection. Lot of shade from trees available. Really clean place.
Edit: In the morning (10am) came the really friendly jandarma and said that it is not allowed to camp and make picnic here. At the end it is up to you if you want to risk it.

Great spot where we stayed 3 days. Very quiet and beautiful for walks and bicycles. We even have had on Friday evening a "watered and colored show", incredible ! Toilets and water still available. Wifi not good.

Best coffee we have had in a while. Really lovely set up, food is also really good.
Especially the burger and wraps.
Perfect morning hangout.

Good hotel in Chita. 2,450 per one person economy room bathroom and shower separated from bedroom includes breakfast. They have parking. You can reserve also by booking and have a Cafe inside the hotel.
