A roadside pull out on Red Hill RD. Nice crest of hill and lovely secluded road section. Room for 2 vans head to head in pullout. Some road noise from few passing cars. Very quiet at night. Grass area next to vans, hills around, and some trails. Unspoiled. Keep clean please.

Very small parking near the conaf, but good place to be close for the penguins excursion. You're not hidden but people don't look at you, there's a big curve there. We were alone, quiet night. We saw dolphins, a lot of urubus (vulture with red head), but no penguins, end of March they were already gone. The toilets (down the hill, there's a path to get there or follow the road) are open but you have to pay at the conaf office.

Quick journey! We drove directly at the ferry waiting in the harbour, payed on board and less than 30 minutes we were on the other side. We saw a lot of seals and dolphins. Toilets on the boat.

Great view on Osorno Volcano. Not easy to find a flat spot. Some people coming for the sunset, which was really amazing! But after we were all alone, very quiet night.

Exactly as stated. we brought our 40 foot coach and had no problem. it was off season and pretty quiet. not an easy turnaround for large units, but still worked out.

We spent 3 nights at this lovely campsite with the desert elephant visiting every day.
Chips, the owner, could not do enough to make us comfortable.

It is still working but prices have gone up to 30k for a car with 2 passengers. Toilets and shower are clean. The view is nice.

Suuuperb spot right next to the lake shore.

Bushes behind you, gentle lapping water 20 meters ahead of you, and no tide to worry about.

Plenty of fire wood around, but do bring some thicker logs with.
No one around and a breathtaking sunrise.

I made a fire on the sand and enjoyed a sound nights sleep.

Some sand so either 2x4 SUV type vehicle with low air pressure, or a 4x4 vehicle.

I have a Toyota bakkie with a RTT and juussttt made it under some large benches (2.3m high vehicle).

Width.... minor scraps with soft bush on either side.

Great food and drinks at this small and friendly restaurant. Tirau is quite a touristy town, this place was full of locals. They know where to eat. Fresh and tasty.

We attempted to make it up to the hot springs but turned around after driving a few miles as the paved road is in horrible shape.

Hunter camping ground in the Oconee National Forest. Couple miles down from “Disperse camping site” listed on iOverlander. Larger site is at the end of the road. I was just wandering and found it. I didn’t stay here. T-mobile gets 1-2 bars.

Stopped by after hours and filled up water. High pressure so fast fill up. Did not use dump station since it had a hose attached to it already which is not compatible with my set up. Great facility!

If you want service or a view of the Cascades, don't follow the GPS pin all the way. It will lead you into a valley with neither of those. There are plenty of spots with service and a view around here however. I will mark one.

Scouted and chose this spot over the other listed in this area for it's superior cell service and view. Wanted to find a level spot that I could park at without destroying the plant life. It's not much of a destination campsite to bring your friends and family to, but it's level, has 3 bars of Verizon and a view of Mt. Hood all the way down to Mt Bachelor.

actually ended up not staying the night. got some bad vibes from a long term boondocker who kept scoping out my rig as it got late. it was as if he had some nefarious plan for when I fell asleep and turned my lights out. better safe than sorry. will be staying at the loves truck stop for the night.

the situation in the forest may very well be different when you go but I'll leave that to your discretion.

Beautiful Scenic Drive on an easy gravel road. Spots all throughout but distant from each other. Everything was full so I came up here in a honda fit. Wouldn't go much further without 4x4. Had a tiny amount of Verizon lte service

Municipal Campsite with corresponding quality.
big grassy camp with trees and shade. A bit rundown ablution but hot shower, power points and toilets are working. Acceptable cleanliness.
The big adantage is the proximity to the Big Hole touristic complex at 200 or 300 meters walking distance.
Payed 238 rands for 2 pensioners and one motorhome.

To get out to the campsite head out of Torrey to the East. Pass the intersection for rout 12 and continue on rout 24 towards Capital Reef NP. You will see a dirt road leading off to the right 0.2 miles after SkyRidge bed and breakfast. Follow that dirt road about half a mile and look for campsites along the way. You can park anywhere someone has camped before. We went to this site but you could continue further along the dirt road. Almost any vehicle could make it out here. We are in a Winnebago Travato 21’ van with 2 wheel drive. There is enough space at this site for a couple vehicles to find flat ground. As long as the roads are dry it’s an easy drive out. Incredible views on all sides and completely secluded. Great spot to spend the night if you are checking out Capital Reef NP.

Nice and super quiet place to stay for one night. I scouted out the place and came back when it was dark and empty. Stay low profile so you don't ruin it for to the next person!

Great. Nice pullover along maRiPosa road. Turn into the road just past mile 14 sign. BLM sign at turn off. Open gate. Drive up an easy road to unlimited camps. You still hear the train but not bad

Rabbit Warren of camp spots, just off the road. Large rock scattered road—explains the mini castle fire rings? Trees, plants have been cut by users, as well as full size plants uprooted. Minor trash about. Driving in on 128 most of the areas are closed to camping, this is not marked “no camping.” Looks like six miles before here is also camping allowed.

A parking area up Dalton Canyon past FS road 123. Bumpy rocky road, parts would be nasty after heavy rain. This is the type place you want to stay at. A few fire rings, enough distance for two maybe three vehicles.

Great parking spot for the night for any size. Lady at registration said one night only which was all we needed. Previous posters said 2 nights. It is a popular spot so please continue to be good to it. The burgers at the diner were awesome!
