A tea factory in the middle of tea plantations. You can visit and taste the tea. The tour through the factory is informal but informative! They sell Roibos tea and black tea, either in normal tea bags or in bigger packs so that you can portion it yourself. However the tea is always sold as powder, not as leafs.

The camp is currently known as Olndonyo Musa camp. Not only does the place offer concrete or earth grounds, running water and security to private campers, it also offers the same but with tents to those without. It has both solar energy and a back up generator just in case. Has a spacious gazebo with several sockets and WiFi. The low lying lights along the pavement from the gazebo towards the camping site are breathtaking at night. The camp has two flushing toilets, one pit latrine and 4 open bathrooms (without roof) with both hot and cold water. Imagine showering whilst enjoying the beautiful view of Mt Kilimanjaro! Oh! did I mention the bonfire place?
Reach out to Ruth (0715368636) for a memorable camping experience. I'm planning to revisit the camp soon enough.

Multiple BLM roads off 89A. They all have gates, just open and close after you go in. Roads are decent, 2WD van did fine, but could be pretty sticky when it rains. Multiple semi-established spots along each road and a few go down almost to Colorado River. Quiet even though you’re not far from the hwy. No shade or cover. Beautiful view of Vermillion Cliffs. Spent two lovely nights here, great stop on the way to Vermillion.

Good spot to boondock or if Whitehouse campground is full. Turn right on first road once you turn off the hwy into the Whitehouse campground/Paria contact station turn. Keep going around the bend and you’ll go up into what feels like a quarry. Some fire rings around. We were the only ones here when we stayed. Quiet, a little hwy noise. Great place after/before Paria canyon hike.

Stayed here two nights. The highway is pretty noisy, we got woke up once or twice from horns and sports cars. We had a nice breakfast inside the first morning we stayed here. The second night I left my flip flops outside the van and they were stolen, so don’t leave any of your belongings outside. Other than that it was a decent place to park for a few nights.

You will definitely not have your best night sleep (due to a million trucks) but it is a safe and busy spot. Open 24/7, free bathrooms and 55$ showers on the back.

Inquire at the hotel. I paid $20 per day to park in a lot that serves liveaboard boaters. There is a bathhouse with showers and flush toilets.

The location is super convenient. It's a 5-minute walk to the heart of the Fells Point neighborhood (bars, restaurants) and maybe 15 minutes to the Inner Harbor tourist trap.

The lot is gated, which is good, because Baltimore is a tough town.

Great location to stay for the night before LA! Only downside was that the night we stayed there was a huge gathering of people and their cars in the parking lot before bedtime which made a lot of noise

Very expensive. $3.50 for a cold wash. Rather spacious area with plenty of seating and the parking lot is gigantic so it could easily fit a few 5th wheels. Also, please don’t use bleach at public laundries.

Random paved lot on a busy road. The parking lot was full of cars and CalTrans trucks during the day. Only my van and two other cars were there all night.

The lot has no signs indicating what the space is intended for. It also does not say no overnight parking. There are no trash cans, no water, and there is a lot of ongoing traffic from the nearby street.

However, it’s only an hour from Yosemite Valley and the adjoining cow pasture was blooming with lovely spring wildflowers and oak trees. 😁

And full bar reception on Verizon so I got a few hours of work done.

American couple on two US registered motorcycles traveling from Albania to North Macedonia. We were told to turn around and go to the border at Kjafasan since this border does not have means to purchase insurance. The border agent was patient and even used his smart phone to translate the information to us in English. We had no problem buying insurance at the Kjafasan border.

I am posting in here because I did not post before. If you do not want to pay to camp there is a nice picnic area on park road 4 west to the south and east of Inks Lake State Park. It is in the road near Longhorn Cavern. We stayed at Inks Lake but wish we knew about this place since we only stayed a night. You can stay in Texas picnic areas for 24 hours no problem (there is a specific ordinance in the state that allows this)- most picnic areas at least have tables some have port-a-potties. Most are very quiet- especially at night since traffic dies down after 6 or 7 pm.

San Miguelito is a rustic land on the shore of the beach is surrounded by palm trees and coastal vegetation, the entrance is narrow but our caravan measures 20 feet and we were able to pass, upon entering there is a yellow house where the host named Carlos lives, the price It is $ 300 pesos per day but you can negotiate it, it is a very quiet place despite colliding with the road, on the land there is enlistment of birds, reptiles and insects, access to the beach is direct, sunsets and sunrises are beautiful if you want to park near the beach it is important to have a 4x4 truck, the terrain is wide for maneuvers, the terrain is usually only except on weekends that come to live together as a family

Coordinates are incorrect! This takes you onto private land. The spot is back on High Park Rd (aka 11 on Google maps) go west, entrance is at the top of a very steep hill. I didn't stop because there was a gate across the entrance, might have said (close behind you) I don't know, there was a truck on the other side. Not a lot of big turn around spots so I just kept driving and found something else down the road. Need to either update this listing or delete it, the natives are getting tired of people turning around on their property, rightly so.
