dr.b.zurk | Outlaw station! For true wild west outlaws! Check out the amazing, abandoned gas station. Then, pull in behind it down a dirt road about 30ft back. Perfect little spot for overnight. Quiet and hidden! |

bridgetteboring | Got here at 7pm on a Monday. Two locals were parked here, so I decided to camp at a pull off a little ways up the road. About 30 min later, they sped off blaring music. I went to go make sure the spot was now available, and saw that they had left a full blown campfire burning. I drowned it myself and proceeded to take the spot. There was a decent amount of alcohol cans around camp, but otherwise seemed nice. I was still getting a but of an unsettling vibe as I went to bed. At 4 am, they were back. They pulled right up into my camp, not 10 ft from my vehicle blaring music again. The music stopped after about 20 min but they stayed in my camp blocking the road to leave for an hour and a half. It seemed like they were probably here drinking. I felt too uncomfortable to get out of my vehicle and am glad they left before sunrise. Overall, I feel very unsafe here and would not recommend. If you see a silver Ford flex, I recommend leaving the area and camp elsewhere. Update: Ford Flex came back around sunrise. Tried to turn around at the top of the hill (probably drunkenly) and ripped his front bumper off. Then came down the hill again and parked. Doesn't appear to be leaving. |

whit.anderson0192 | No longer open 24/7! New hours are 7am-11pm. Classic Walmart parking lot, friendly staff, stayed overnight in my car with no problems. It’s definitely a ways off the main drag (I 65) and it takes a bit to get in and out. |

Traktorbek | Station Service OiLibya Relais Olympique Rabat A good place to buy normal or all-terrain tyres. I didn't see any mud tyres. They can order most tyres within a day or two. A friend of mine bought his new all-terrain tyres there. You can also get repairs done or get a general service for your car. It's next to a petrol station. The owner spoke French, English and Darija. I would rate it 5 stars but somehow iOverlander shows 2,5 stars. |

Traktorbek | There is a very quiet, unpaved road which is not on Google Maps but which you will find on Openstreetmap. If you talk to the guard respectfully, you can park your car there for a night. You might also be able to park in front of the Burger King or across the street from it. This area of Rabat is very quiet and safe. I wouldn't recommend parking south of the roundabout near the "Jardin publique". There are usually quite a few homeless people. |
Side road, quite and safe district of Rabat | 33.98787, -6.85252 | |
Traktorbek | Don't get tempted to park your on the side of the road next to the ocean during the night. The stray dogs can be very aggressive. I barely escaped the jaws of a big, aggressive dog when I went for a run during the day. Also, many homeless people stay around the coast. Most of them are nice. But not all of them. |
