This is a great place for $5 a night. If you don't want to spend $15-$20 for an RV Spot with hookups be sure to follow signs that say tent camping $5. They are hard to find at night. If you go into the RV park and enter the first loop, drive past all the RV spots to the very back and you will find the $5 spots. 3 private bathrooms with showers. Beautiful clean park run by the city. To pay after hours go to the porch of the office at the second entry. Otherwise you will be woken up at 7:30am to pay.

Stayed one night in our Promaster without issue. Cars pulled in and out of the lot all night and roosters started crowing at 4am, so it wasn’t a great night, but it is close to the city.

Definitely stunning. So far the best thing in the wild coast. No idea why it's not number one in every guide book.

Park at the roundabout parking space. Than go north and cross the river above the water fall. That is easy. Push on and you will see a broad way that leads to the village on the other side. Have way there is a perfekt lookout. In total 200 meter. Put in a photo with my wife where the entrance of the way is across the river

Beautiful ocean side sites separated by vegetation for privacy. No amenities. Basic coverage on Verizon. No one collecting fees right now, we only saw one other group down the beach.

we definitely recommend that place! you have a very big camping zone and it's a feeling kind of wild camping in between a lot of cactus and some animal hard can pass your camp.
the pool is amazing and has natural water. with this hot temperatures it's definitely helpful to have a relaxed day.
we paid 30.000 COP per person and night. the restaurant offers also everything from 8.00am until 7.00pm. the food is good just a little bit expensive.

Several sites along a narrow but easy to navigate bush road. Only 2 kms from Nakusp. Spectacular rocky beach, superb mountain views. A wee bit of traffic noise but mostly heavenly fantastic!

Easy drive in on the main dirt road. We camped nestled up to the purple hills a little further back from the river. It should be noted that despite lack of signage, don’t walk on the volcanic mounds. It’s not so much dangerous as it is disruptive to the natural formation millions of years in the making. There are already footprints and of course, animal tracks, but be mindful of how you interact with the space. We explored the little gulch around the mounds behind some barbed wire, found the sun-bleached skeleton of a cow, and interacted briefly with a pronged antelope. Slept to the sounds of the coyotes howling around us and awoke at dawn to the garble of wild roaming turkeys. Very cool spot, lots of petrified wood! Be mindful of your campfires(unless there is an active fire ban), as the wind sweeps through the area in large gusts.

There was once a blind man who had so fine a sense of touch that, when any animal was put into his hands, he could tell what it was merely by the feel of it. One day the cub of a wolf was put into his hands, and he was asked what it was. He felt it for some time, and then said, "Indeed, I am not sure whether it is a wolf's cub or a fox's: but this I know -- it would never do to trust it in a sheepfold."

Beautiful quiet spot up in the pine forests. Just off the small road but very peaceful. Level and sun or shade. Lots of birdsong. Water spring and campfire area. Good 4g reception (Turk telecom)

Large Walmart parking lot. We parked lookers right of the auto center. There were a few teens hanging out with loud sun-woofers but they were harmless and eventually left us with a quiet restful night of sleep tucked up against the trees.
