FREE hot showers and amenities! I went to the front desk to ask for a day pass (pool pass) so I could shower and she told me showers were free for the public! Great, clean facility with amazing water pressure.

Wow y’all just the sweetest family. We were trying to get to La Paz from Bahia de conception but got here around 7:45pm just before sun down and decided to stop. So happy we did! Salvador is the grandfather and a very sweet kind man I’m not sure if it was the mask but his Spanish is a bit difficult to understand I’m pretty fluent, none the less he signaled where we could park our 28ft rv for the night and brought coffee in the morning. Locked the gate as others said too so it felt super safe. Dogs were friendly, didn’t bark much at all, one was tied up to a tree and he said that one bites so to not park next to that tree. Woke up to roosters, the little kiddos playing and as we left in the morning all three generations of the family were sending us off (melted from cuteness)! wear masks around them I was talking to Salvador in the morning and he expressed how careful he and his family are because of the danger of the pandemic, respect the boundaries. Must stay here if you need a spot before or after La Paz 5 stars. Also some Telcel service too!

Might I add.... they didn’t want a single peso from us but we insisted and kicked them 300 pesos Salvador didn’t want to take it but we felt right supporting the kindness they show for the nomadic world !

Nice spot to take showers and clean up after a week in National Forests. Flat sites with fire rings and a table, with a large covered communal dishwashing area that we cooked under to avoid spending more time in the rain. We were able to deep clean all of our cooking gear and regroup for the rest of our trip.

The owner is very nice, and mentioned during check in that a few miles down the road is beach access that you can drive on to the next city. Quite a bit of fun.

There are signs of no overnight camping on both parking, the lighthouse and the one down the dirt road. We stayed anyway because it was late, there were other campers that stayed the night. No one bothered us.
Lots of mosquitos!!

Nice spot! There is no shade during the morning, but yes during the afternoon. Really big olive tree on the way up offers shade in the morning.

Nice views with a short walk.

There’s a bunch of dispersed camping spots alongside this wonderful trail. When we were there we were clearly the only ones in the whole area. There are big rocks you can climb to watch the sunset, not many bugs, temperature is great (We were there in August). Verizon works amazingly well for such a remote area…2-3 bars with great speeds!

We didn’t stay here to sleep, but we came in for a swim because our car doesn’t have AC.

There are a few fire sites, and clear flat spots to put tents or small recreational vehicles. The road seems too narrow for RVs.

There are no signs indicating that overnight stay is not allowed. We saw some locals who didn’t seem to be bothered by our presence.

Drive down Tripp Rd and there are several pull offs where you can park. We have not seen any "no camping" signs. There is a turn around at the end of the road that can fit 3 vehicles. We ended up parking 3 rigs right on the road right against the water. People driving by have been slow and respectful. There is a trail to a dock towards the end of the road that people seem to be using to swim.

$10 a night for a tent site that I stayed at in my campervan! Free showers, cheap laundry, bathrooms and the cleanest portapottys I've ever been in??? I spent two nights here. Really quiet (except you can hear the highway sometimes, but it's not overwhelming). The tent sites have so much shade. Plenty of level spots, very few people here. Come in person and it's cheaper than their online reservation system. The old man at the office got mad at me for driving in "too fast" so really slow down to 5mph if you don't want that conversation. Sometimes they have conferences so check their website for availability.

It does feel a little run down, but mostly I feel like I can really tell the care the owners put into this place, working with what they have. I've stayed in national parks that are in worse condition. All the showers and laundry machines are in working condition! There's a sign that warns of discoloration from high iron content in water but my clothes came out just fine.

Also, in Google maps it will come up as Avenue of the Giants Stafford RV Park. FYI.

Okay version and decent ATT.

Passed by in the evening, long gravel road to get here. One RV parked in the corner, but there is a “no tent” sign so not sure if means no camping/tents or no overnight - we didn’t risk it. Not much of a view as it is a parking entrance for a hike but could be alright if no other choice, and quite secluded. Part of a regional park. LTE seems fine.

pulled in last evening. no overnight sign was posted but several truckers spent the night. we elected to stay at the rv park just west of the rest stop due to wanting 50 amp power to run our ac system.

Kinda a beat down of a rd. Slow travel for bigjeep. Idk the glacier is pretty haggard. Trail with suspension bridge is cool. Let’s be real. It’s worth the drive because it is a rd in Ak. Which are few and far between.

Smoth bordercontroll. Checked PCR Test, stamped the passport, checked quickly the car, had to pay "Öko-Tax" (ca. 20$ or 10.000ADM). In total it took 30min to pass the boarder.
I would recommend to buy the car insurance online:
https://aswa.am
Played for a car for 15days 5.000 ADM.
Direct after ther boarder there are some guys who want to sell you the insurance for 33.000ADM for 15days !!!
If you drive a little further there is a supermarket and a Viva Simcard shop (simcard+10GB for month, Instagram/FB/Messengers do not consume GB!), you can also buy the insurance there.

If you drive further there is a supermarket, ATM, Viva shop for simcard (simcard+freeminutes+10GB for 5.000ADM, Apps like Insta/FB/Messager do not consume GB). Here it is also possible to buy the car insurance.

Nice clearing by the river underneath some big mango trees. There's a host that backs onto the river here and we felt like we were in their backyard a little. We spoke to a couple of guys and they said it was fine to stay the night. They cautioned us about the strong current of the river and advised we take a dip in the small eddy in front of the house.

We had a peaceful night and were woken by the rooster in the morning.

Pleasant spot. Kinda buggy.
