Simple, large, grassy field. Great for camping with any equipment. Easy to find paid 4,000 colon pppn with a 4x4 with rooftent.

Lovely little spot off the highway a few kms. Car camping , had a spot by the river. Awesome hot showers with roomy tiled shower room. Owners are really friendly and helpful.

Nice little pullout 50’ from the road. Decent views of the mountains all around. Flat. Couldn’t find much else in this stretch of road to camp at. It is over 22 miles from the main road (where the sign said no camping for 22 miles)

Pretty big lot. A few of us but not crowded. Good for a night.

We enjoyed this place. Paid 150 pesos to camp for the night as a family of four, I asked two people but we didn’t have to pay extra for the pool. Free washrooms and showers, the ones by the camping/pool area are really clean. Multiple pools but only one in use when we were there, it was great to cool off in the day and before bed! Restaurant was okay, a little noisy at night being on the highway but we’d stay again.

Stayed there one night. I could park along the park, not next to houses. It was quiet and I was feeling safe. Just one person on drug woke me up screaming next to my car but didn't noticed I was there and left after half an hour. Maybe sometime people come in the park to do drug..
it was good for one night.

It’s a long way around so we thought we’d check out how far we could get… the road is passable for the adventurous with a 2wd - as long as you have good clearance, and all terrain tyres with the pressure lowered. Slow going in parts but doable.

We stayed 2 nights. It is first come basis. no reservations available. Atlal Campground was full so we drove to Arch Campground. Luckily we found spot #7 in front of the Restrooms. We brought our own generator which you can use from 7am to 3pm. Atlal has showers with warm water. We did have to drive there and use the showers since our RV ran out of water. We did fill up the Water tank dump station with clean potable water.

Could not find an RV spot with full hook ups at Atlatl campground so we drove to Arch Campground. luckily we found spot #7. After paying for it, we immediately went to fill up our fresh water tank at the dump station. They do provide fresh potable water there, afar from the dump station area. We ran out of water later on. I remembered that Atlatl campground does have warm showers so we went there to freshen up. Both locations are great but since it's first come, you have to get lucky.

Beautiful and quiet park. Had a good night here. Unfortunately washrooms were closed.

A lovely, quiet, short dirt road to the beach. We arrived late afternoon and there was only one other car here. Decided to stay here instead of the next road over, as it seemed cleaner and less busy. Felt safe for us and our van. Enjoyed having the beach steps away, even saw some whales! Blissful.

Miguel is the owner of the place and very kindly gave us a space to pitch the tent and spend the night in his garden. his patio has a table and stools. Also a faucet with drinking water. And he also provided us with wifi signal. Good people :)

small spot at thr end of a gravel road, small vehicles only as it is tight to turn. sheltered spot with some trees and decent level parking. nice view of the sunset and no-one driving by as it is a dead end.

We could not stay at any of the bodegas in the valle de Uco with our camper and many campsites were closed this time of year (april). So we ended up here for the night. Good spot, very quiet, nice view on the mountains.

Great parking spot .25 mile from the falls. $10 for overnight parking, I’m on my second night. Starbucks close by, the Niagara Falls visiting center has a nice restroom they’ll let you use for free. Definitely recommend!

Entering in Siria was bit longer but everyone super friendly and welcoming.
67$ for my visa (Italian passport), + 26 Sirian money for something else (about 6€).

To be honest they even didn’t check my luggages (INCREDIBLE… they were more interested looking the vespa and knowing about my travels). They only had some questions when I told them I have a camera. Boh, but everything ok.

Applied Visa for one week, maybe you can ask more

Safe and very calm and relaxing place. We could set up our tent on the terrace of a cabaña, so it was protected from the rain. The people who are running this place are super nice and friendly. We got access to the kitchen of their restaurant which seems to be only open on weekends (they still would have prepared a meal for us). Still charge 5$pp.

Camped here for two nights, was leaving when a man came out grumpy and said commercial vehicles couldn't park overnight in the Eola District (unconfirmed - all vans in our state get commercial plates). Park at your own risk using street smarts but there is a bunch of unsigned street parking in this area for stealth. Neighborhood is beautiful and quiet! Lake Eola park nearby has restrooms open 6:30am to 10pm.

Stayed here for free after booking the boat tour They ask for 1600 but drop to 1000 very quick for 2 people, probabaly can even haggle further.

Don't ask at the restaurant they try to charge 135pp for camping.

We did get a snack at the restaurant later to use their wifi and pool. The pool is pretty dirty though and the whole complex has seen better days.

We are both big fans of the movie and when we found out you could camp here too it became a must stop. $30 for camping here even with hot showers is a little much in our opinion.

Would suggest coming for Specter, but staying for the goats.

Quiet and secluded without being too far from the highway. The 5k trail made for a nice leg stretch after a long day of driving l. Probably would t attempt to park here if it were raining due to all the loose dirt.

Couldn't reach the location at the beginning of April because there was still snow on the track the way up to the crater. No chance with our 2WD fully loaded van.

So we stayed next to the ruins in Ückuyu. Easy access, quite and friendly people.

Calling this is State Park was disappointing. It’s a good campground however all access to the river that we could find is barred by the golf course except for a boat ramp. A

Atention: This is a privat place not part of the Recreation Area. Prices are $70 for RV and $30 for tent per NIGHT. Fare away from water. Did not stay.

We camped here, was very quiet, only 3 other vehicles. Plenty of trees for much needed shade. Ablutions were clean, but NO hot water.

Pulled into cost-co mid evening. Around 10pm we were kindly asked to leave. The security guard said that he thought winco across the street allowed overnight parking. As we were starting our vehicle in the morning around 8:30am an employee approached us and informed us that overnight parking was not allowed there either.
Looks like street parking must be the way yo go around Redding.

Got a room with 2 double beds and ac for 500. Very secure parking

Franziska and Fredy are very friendly a helpful hosts. We asked before we came by Whatsapp to check out if we are welcome and if we fit with our 4x4 truck. They have some issues why they ask to contact them before arrival a d thwy have only one spot to stay. We felt very welcome also by there 4 dogs. They have a nice and clean bathroom and good Wifi. Thank you both for you great hospitality.
