instagram.com/kangaandtheru | Felt safe as a solo female traveler. Lots of grass for my two dingos. Flying J had a good selection of fruit and coffee machines. Gas prices were very reasonable. Cell service was 1-3 bars ATT 5G- I couldn’t refresh Instagram but could watch Netflix? Instagram: @KangaAndTheRu |

amydullard | Really beautiful spot on the river. Easy to get to with our 22" van. There is a boat ramp, so longer vehicles should be able to easily use that to turn around to exit. Several trains went by at night, so it wasn't exactly quiet. But all in all a nice place to boondock |

A very long Honeymoon | Amazing place! Still 8.72 USD per persons. With our High Top Toyota Land Cruisers we were able to camp in the nice grassy camping area. The hot showers with good pressure were the best we had in a long time. Clean Toilets with fitting toilet seats and toilet paper (we come from Mexico so we really appreciate this). Nice swimmingpool, a pond with a croc. The owners were really extremely nice!! Free tea and coffee in the dining area and they cook very good food (better tell them in advance if you eat at the restaurant, as there is no menu, they just cook the same for everyone).

youtube.com | The rock is big but one of us got out and facilitated. Our Promaster van cleared it, no problem. It was a beautiful spot. Highway noise and we heard a train go by once around 8p. Couldn’t hear the highway from inside the van. Beautiful creek beside the spot. |

instagram.com/txveggieman/ | This was a great little camp spot right off the highway. It was pretty spacious. We camped at the base of one of the hills for the night enjoyed the scenery and the stars. It is perfect for an overnight. We had no trouble finding a place for our sprinter van. |

Oberon | Very nice spot, peaceful with a good lake view. Chatted with a local who said it was fine to stay overnight. Checked out the Port Colborne waterfront area first, but didn't get a good feel there, so moved on to this spot - very glad I did! There were some comings and goings in the night - seems like it's a popular spot to come for a smoke. And an early morning boat launch. But no hassles. Be aware that there are some spots of deep sand in the parking area, so best to stay on the hard-packed part. |

ourfulltimeadventure | This place has a stunning view but it comes with the noise of many different things. Locals blasting music, dropping their boats in the water and a ton of animal life (dogs/birds/fish) Would stay here again and but I wouldn’t if you are sensitive to noises at night or you’re a light sleeper. ourcrazelife | Not much to add. Did reserve a spot online but when I arrived 4 hrs later, still no confirmation. Talked to the Park Ranger, said it can take up to a day to get confirmed but they weren't worried about it. Very chill! I stayed in 10. You do hear noise from the factory but it was similar to wire noise to me. Barely heard trains. Good Verizon signal. A pretty spot. |

Compa on the road | End of 38 km hike to 7 lakes. If you stay in camping Casa de Piedra and have a few hours to kill, you can start a 4 km hike to one of the lakes from here (+ 4 km back, takes about two hours in total) The route is shown on Maps.me as well, and the rangers know it of course. However, I think they don't maintain this trail often. |

offtoseethe.world | Beautiful and well-maintained campsite. Highly recommended! Paid 2200 pesos for 2 and our car. Very lovely owner. New and clean facilities: 2 spacious rooms with each a toilet, shower and sink (unfortunately, taking a shower results in a flood as the drain seems to be the highest point in both rooms). |

Instagram: @savannatales | Excellent campsite ! If you're coming from southern Mozambique you know how rare it is to have a seafront campsite. 90% of the campsites we saw/been in Moz are behind a dune or far from the beach, so enjoy thoroughly this one! 😅 Excellent shower, great pool, electricity at spots. Very unstable internet coverage with Vodacom. 600 MZN ppn. |
