Parc Detente . A small village park overlooking St Lawrence River with about 11 parking spots . Tonight five small campers , class B. The city has added a fancy portable toilet. With water, soap, … unfortunately some put on generator and I feel that abuses the privilege of parking here as it would disturb the neighbouring houses. I fear the neighborhood will object and say soon “No Overnight parking “ we travellers must observe common etiquette .

Beautiful, if you want to be free, get ride of your daylilife, be a Hippie, come here... amazing place to camp and stay, Restaurant with tasty food, wonderful pools showers and toilets.. and the owners are angels,. whatever you need, you can ask them😍

Very central, can walk to most places from here. Big rig friendly, if the one available space is free (11T truck). Electricity and free WiFi (500mb vouchers). Ablutions amazing. Laundry $5 for a smallish bag (enough for our bed sheets and some clothes). Very friendly and helpful staff. We paid $10pppn. Stayed 4 nights. Friday eve noisy from bar across road until 23:00, quiet all other nights.

Tip: have a breakfast at the Lookout Cafe (walking distance).

We asked and they said yes but to park out close to the road away from the store. Pretty quiet night. Walmart said no, yet they are very close together. Go figure!

Checking in to leave feedback even though we did not make it to the site because the “dirt road” turned into a sand pit. We got stuck and stuck good. Right in the middle of the “road.” No rescue til next morning.

It was a national holiday when we arrived and was very busy and crowded. But we were well tolerated. It emptied out by around 7pm and was totally quiet by around 11pm. Also quiet in the morning. Nice town, but not a pleasant spot but could not persuade partner to go out of town! Toilet always a plus.

We could not find the access road to the Wild Beach bush camp and came to the old lighthouse premises. Two ladies came to greet us and gave us the thumbs up to spend the night here. We gave them each Kw1000 and they were happy. We were not bothered by anyone else.

This is the go-to spot for when you are being sent away by the border patrol close to DG monastery. 350° (-10° for the radio towers) fantastic view.

Old natural hot pools with indoor and outdoor pools and a hot showering area. You can park here overnight in the car park and use the hot pools for 100lira per adult (kids half price). There are clean toilets you can use and a spring water tap. The whole place is a bit decrepit but the people are relaxed and friendly. There is a restaurant but we didn’t try it. We were actually aiming for the nearby campsite but it didn’t seem to be open and a local directed us down here instead. If you park at the end of the car park under the trees you have a lovely view of the lake.

This Ranch is Lost Ridge Inn and is accessible by a rough track off the tarmac road. We did not camp but visited to see the facilities. Obviously toilets and food. But it is incredibly peaceful and a bit alternative. Lots of water and hoses!

This is the most notorious and corrupt border crossing place as confirmed in many travel forums. Avoid it at all costs. The main “boss” as he calls himself not in uniform will work with others, find an issue even if there is none in our case and separate you if you are traveling together and extort money. Don’t forget when they ask for 1000’s, that is the old money, the new is 100’s and it can be confusing. Go via Diama, avoid this place.

Extremely beautiful spot in the mountains, next to little river. Easy acces, but 4x4 might be necessary to climb short rocky path. Also spot next to road for 2WD. Road only leads to Amber fort, so quiet at night. Visible from road. Locals come here to pick herbs. Very friendly and hospitable.

Gigantic market with hundreds of stalls selling vegetables, fruits, meat and fish.

Private ablutions at each site. Hot water, shade, sink, 2 toilets and great shower.. Clean. Great pool & excellent wifi. Can get noisy at night due to nearby party location. Great value for money in Maun. They also have well appointed and clean rooms.

At first it’s hard to believe there is something here but enter the bush and you will see the depression. GPS is correct. We had visit from friendly rangers at night about 630-7 PM, who checked we were okay. Unfortunately, next morning at around 945 AM, very rude rangers with rifles turned up and insisted this place is within the national park boundaries and we were breaking the law blabla by being here. We left soon after. Suggest going deeper in the bush to camp, this road had 2 cars passing in the night and another 2 early morning

Unfortunately some very rude rangers with rifles showed up when we camped at the wild camp spot (depression in road) 20 km away from the border to CKGR. Despite being so far away from the park border, and a good 40km+ from xade gate, the rude rangers insisted we were still on wildlife land and insisted we leave. Very unpleasant experience. The rude ranger said we should have driven through the night to Ghanzi and we should not stop even for a picnic along any part of the bush. He also threatened to fine us.

The road is deep sand and bumpy for about 70 KM from Xade gate till New Xade village. After that it was hard sand till Ghanzi which made driving much better

a pleasant place to stay. for the double room with own small bathroom we paid 25000$. there is a shared kitchen. a small market is just around the corner. the rooms are clean.

Azarkhavaran is a village in the central part of Jargaviyeh city, Isfahan province, Iran. This village has two historical castles that are more than 400 years old. The village is also called A'bkharoon in the local dialect. In ancient times, the village consisted of seven castles (fortresses) which were: Azarkhvaran, Abkhoran, Dehchi, Diyeh Khoran, Kouhak, Dasht Jahan, Dasht-e Aseman. Among them, Azarkhvaran is considered the central fortress. The name Jargaviyeh is derived from Kuh-e Bacheh or Kouchak Kooh, which is located in Azarkhavaran. Azarkhoran means the splendour and glory of fire, or the land of fiery glory. Azarkhorans have always been the centre and capital of Jargaviyeh, except for the last 50 years.

115 pula for 3 kg. They do not fill half bottles, all or nothing. GFS gas does not seem to exist, we could not find it, asked around and was directed here.

definitely loud. and the sirens that someone mentioned went off 3x last night. luckily I was able to go back to sleep. loud, but safe and there aren't many options in this area.

It is a wonderful place close to everything attractive in Petrolina.
The Haus Petrolina staff are amazing and the food and draft beer is great. I personally recommend taste de American Lager draft beer.

Great spot for a night, in a parking lot behind some businesses. Far enough away from road to where noise is mostly inaudible.

No signs prohibiting overnight parking. Probably best to just stay a night or two at most. Can park in the corner and you are right near some trees with lots of birds. Mostly hidden from view here. Parking lot is flat. Great cell reception.
