Lots of places, some with fire ring. Some are very level and others require leveling blocks. Nice trees, beautiful views, and some wild cows roaming around.

Our front-wheel drive RAM Promaster made it fine, we took it slow! There were a bunch of people camping in a variety of rigs and cars, not sure why this place is not updated frequently on here... It's great! There was a longer-ish RV as well but don't know what the max length should be.

Use "satellite mode" on Google maps to locate the dirt road on the left of the Mineral Canyon Road. This dirt road connects in a V a bit into the field to another dirt road further up. For us, the left road was easier to drive on.

There are signs that say Don’t park on the grass so we found a concrete pad in the SE “extension” of the park. Had a quiet night apart from 3 trains. Did not see a single person the whole time we were here. It’s a perfectly acceptable place to camp for a night.

Must reserve campsite for overnight stay. Easy on/off I-70. Paved gravel roads to well maintained campsites. Quiet. Stayed at site 13 at end of road. Great views.

Stayed at the plaza for a quite night. But be aware that city life starts already at 6 am.

Lodge directly at the water, with nice bar and rooms with sea view. Campsites are either at the top of the dune or even closer to the water (4x4 needed for steep street down to the water and to navigate in sand)

Police checkpoint. Not friendly and gave us a grilling for not having fire extinguishers on our bikes. Said they would give us a ticket and really checked our passports and driving licences

They seemed to be trying to find a way to get something from us. Be wary but patient - we left after 5 minutes of them holding our passports etc

Good location on the beach. Paid R300 for the site . Basic ablutions and each site has power . Gets busy and noisy on weekends

Great spot if you can be inconspicuous. One of those spots that could easily be ruined if too many people abuse it. Arrive after library close and leave before it opens. I’d say good only for vans or cars or very small RVs.

Public park is just beside the library and has a washroom with flush toilet and a sink which is directly behind the library. Looks like you can’t park at the park but can park at the library. Wifi was strong even in the parking lot.

As mentioned, right next door to the sheriffs and firefighters. Firefighters were having some sort of event in the park next door and nobody approached me.

Large Shopping Mall with ATMs at ground level, that offer Dollar and Euro (and GEL of course).

Checkpoints was a Little earlier on The Road. 3 Nice men behoud the desk for pasport and Carnet control. Asked 4000 CFA for service , I told them It was for free to pass Here. I have them a bottel of water and left, no problems.

This location is a roadside stop of interest. It has 2 covered cement pads, without picnic tables. There are garbage cans and it is large enough for any size rig. We stayed here in our 25 foot trailer with truck. No issues at all. Highway was very quiet overnight and we awoke to songbirds in the morning. Easy in and out and a great place to overnight if you are heading to the Hotsprings State Park for a soak. Got 1 bar of cell here.

We stayed here 1 night away from the city center. Very quiet, we felt safe. There were other campers and a guy with his pickup and trailer who seemed to live here.

Free Dump and Potable Water. Highly recommend going inside the Visitor Center as the staff is so friendly and can help you find sights or camping spots. Free WIFI and bathrooms. Visitor Center hours currently are 9am - 4:30pm Monday through Saturday. Closed Sundays and holidays.

Lovely camp for one night. Paid 275 for meal, 3 beers, and camping.
Beware of any trail behind loos. Big and small ants and they all bite. Had to move my tent.

The campsite is wooded, has great space, the internet works very well and the bathrooms are clean. It's a great place for those traveling with pets and Marcos is an excellent host. The Camping is really worth getting to know.

O Camping é arborizado, tem um ótimo espaço, a internet funciona muito bem e os banheiros são limpos. É um ótimo local para quem viaja com pet e o Marcos é um excelente anfitrião. Vale muito a pena conhecer o Camping.

small paved lot just off major road. some traffic noise but surprisingly quiet. No signs prohibiting overnight parking but not the intended use of this lot. In the end I stayed four nights here in my DIY van with no issues.

As mentioned this is a very nice spot on the Big Horn River. Lots of wildlife. Dump station near water is turned off at the sites, probably until Labor Day.

quite and safe large area. there is a potable tap on the corner. on Thursdays they set a local market that you can buy fresh veggies and fruit and cheap clothing. we spend one night it was very quiet. the place is very close to the historical places

Nice spot, more pleasant than the rest area.Hidden, several little spots with pit fire at the bottom of mountain.
No toilet, no garbage (take back your waste please).
Useful just before/after the gate park.

Beautiful site on top of mountain with 360 view From the Alpes to the Mediterranean. Suitable for both campers and vans.

landslide happened 10-05-2024 but are being cleared! We passed with 4x4.

Beautiful place with incredible views. Agree with the prior comments of it being overrun at sunset and sunrise with people focused on themselves and being pretty rude. Once that insanity left it was a wonderful quiet morning.

Drive in with a 2wd Sprinter 170 was easy, no worries getting in here.

as described. free but you need to tell the security that you stay here. fast free wifi, restroom inside the casino. free water and juices at the bar as well.

This guy is really helpful, indeed! He got oil, filters etc. I found diesel filters for our Toyota that I couldn't find anywhere else in Iquique or even Santiago!

Big parking area with several campers and big RV parked to overnight. Good place to relax after crossing USA- Canadá border, always more relaxed coming into Canada. Canadiam border guards are really friendly. We slept well as the car park is really calm

Huge road construction works at the moment... impossible to stop here. sadly making a huge highway from there to Aquiduana

I took a boat (30,000 Naira) from oron here, and the man in Green police uniform brought me to the immigration office, people there(I don't know who they are) they said to me that I cannot enter this country. And a man from boat company very rude took my passport, cheated my money and sent me back to Nigeria. And after some stories, with the help of Security territory, I got back to Idenau and stamped my passport. So the truth is that I met bad people and they lied to me and made me traveled three times between Nigeria and Cameron. The immigration men are in blue uniform, they are the only one you can really trust.
