Talked to Security beforehand (their office is next to the food court). We were told to park next to HomeSense / Winners on the East side.

We were passing through and looking for a CG in the area that would be close to walking trails. We're self-contained in a 25 foot MH and don't use the facilities except for an occasional shower. We stayed 2 nights, mid-week, mid-June without reservations. The CG did not fill during our stay. The out of state fee was $27.50/night.

This is a nice, small CG. There are 35 sites that vary in size from small (pop-up or tent) to extra large (35' camper) and are relatively close together. They are arranged nicely around 2 circles with some greenery separating them to increase privacy. The sites are dirt and may require some leveling. Each site has a picnic table and a fireplace, and firewood can be purchased. We did not use the three water sources and pit toilets that are spread through the CG. There are 3 showers near the entrance. They were clean with moderate water pressure and ample hot water. There was a usable ATT cell signal in the CG and an intermittent/unreliable Verizon signal. There's no dump station. A free dump station without rinse water or potable is available at the Freeport Sewer District 15 min away.

We enjoyed the miles of walking paths throughout the park.

He’s been logged. Large brush piles around but still pleasant escape from the heat

We had something to eat and drink at the restaurant next to the Roman bath. Beautiful lawn with seating areas in the shade. Then spend the night in the parking lot. Some music from the restaurant in the evening, but that did not bother us. We slept well. There are also a number of stray dogs, but very friendly. The restaurant itself also has some small dogs that make more noise 😁

The site was obviously not being kept up (mown, etc) so I called Monona County Sheriff’s office. They said it’s ok to stay but it’s not patrolled. I didn’t feel safe. Maybe if there had been somebody else there., I would have stayed.

Beautiful spot along the swift-flowing river; wish I had brought a kayak like my neighboring camper did. Definitely use the South entrance to the U-shaped parking area -- North entrance very bumpy. ("First" and "Second" depend on direction of travel so this should clarify). Walking distance to hot springs, nice but found one too hot and the others just warm.

Basically a parking lot tucked behind some trees, but good spot and quiet at night. Several other camped at the same time.

It has two bathrooms that contains running clean water as well as showers (no hot water). Multiple picnic tables with gazebos. Two Docks, one located at the entrance and the other following the gravel road. Abandoned building to the left when following the gravel road and two spots shaded in by trees for privacy. No signs against camping, we stayed for two nights in our vehicle right beside the abandoned building with no issues. Across the lake is a Dame, during the night there are multiple spot lights that light up the whole lake. Lastly there are trails located all over.

Really cool place to walk around. The parking lot is HUGE and abandoned, so tons of space to park.

A nice and quiet spot until 6:30 a.m. Then the construction of neighboring buildings begins to be heard.

We spent a night there without any trouble.

Spent one night here. Felt safe. 50k per 24 hours. Attendant gave us a key for the gate they lock around 10pm. We arrived around 8:30pm and the lot was nearly empty. It would have impossible for us to park during the day. We also left the next day around 8pm once most of the cars left.

Potable water available at the Shell. Comes from a faucet next to their car wash and propane tanks. Ask permission to fill from the attendants and they will gladly point you to it. Decent water pressure.

As a cyclist this was a useful stop between Potosi and Sucre. Children playing until 9pm and very quiet from 10pm. School starts 9am and saw the school buses arriving as I left at 8:15. Water appeared to be off until 7am (not sure when it’s turned off in the evening but definitely not before 9:30pm). Camped on the pitch/court which has a cover.

Just follow the small path up the hill, down again and so on, you willkommen to an beautiful plateau. Unfortunately someone burned their household belongings here. But except from that it’s a very beautiful place. Windy in the evenings.

There are "no overnight parking" signs, but I was exhausted enough to give it a shot. When asking for permission, I was told that they don't mind a 1-night stay. Their concern is people trying to live in the lot.

It's in a quiet area and feels reasonably safe. There are security cameras overlooking the lot.

Wild camp site for multiple tents, ground almost flat. Easy access from the road. Sightly noisy (water). Not hidden. Some flies. Shelter. River path, picnic table and simple toilets across the bridge. Access to the river (for a cold shower). Bad 4G. Leave the place clean!

Hidden gem! $20 for any vehicle. It was kinda confusing to find the park but after we pulled in the monthly residents were super friendly and helped us set up properly. It was extremely quiet the whole night and not too crowded. The bathrooms are old but everything works and it was clean enough to use. Showers use quarters and the water was good temp. Will be visiting again if I’m the area

We didn’t make any reservations and first tried to get a serviced site in Village II. There were no vacancies there and we got a site here for $41. Firewood, shower were included. The bathroom was clean. The bus to town was free but coming back was $2.
