Really useful to quickly wash clothes ! Still called LAVEX in front of the TOTTUS supermarket. There’s a parking for cars (max 2,10 meters high)

Actual prices :
- Wash in normal machine 5kg : 2400 pesos
- Dry in normal machine 5kg : 2400 pesos
- Wash in big machine 12kg : 5000 pesos
- Dry in big machine 12kg : 5000 pesos

30min to wash and 30 to dry.

To pay you will need to download an application or to have cash, AND for the big machine you need coins of 500 pesos only, a bit complicated to collect this at the supermarket but possible.

Ok this place is open, there are 8 camp areas with a total of 15 sites. It is an amazing area but I do ask if the camp area is full please move on, don’t just make a site, as if that continues none of us will have this spot for long!

Beautiful campground on a cliff right by the ocean. First come first served. Some campsites are right in the edge of the cliff and others are a bit further back but all have great views. $35 a night. No easy beach access but if you walk down to the end there’s a path to the beach.

Stayed at the trailhead one night with no issues. No bathrooms or anything, but good Verizon service. Right off the road so road noises were constant through the night

RV dump station w/ non potable water to rinse tank. There was also a red spiget in front of bathroom & another in middle of grassy area where picnic tables but not sure if potable. Did find a blue spigot that is working but not sure if potable and you will need a long hose to fill.

There's a bunch of great, pretty flat spots to sleep out here. I even found a rock fire pit at one. Depends on how far out you want to go and how much scratching you are comfortable with on your van. The internet service is amazing and so is the solitude.

Very private area, there was one other car nearby parked up on the road side. Be aware there were a few snakes in the grass

Nice bathroom with AC. Picnic area, plenty of spaces. Good selection of vending machines. My Verizon gets ok LTE reception here, no 5G. Didn't see any sign for no overnight parking.

Behind the Burger King at the back of the dirt lot behind the drive-through windows, there is a dump station. Rinse water is supposed to be available but was not working when we were here. Signs are old faded, but the signage says “camper dump station.”

Pretty quiet for us, as far as rest stops go. The trail head parking was the way to go since it's away from the idling trucks and not many cars passed during the night. Great sleep, and nice views in the morning.

Super beau petit endroit très tranquille sur le bord de l’eau on s’est pas fait achaler. Pas trop lumineux non plus parfait pour dormir dans son van.

the north bridge has a high limit on the west side and is not really wide.

the south "bridge" looks a bit dangerous but we go over it with 7.5t. The locals say it's no problem. In the yurt camp we saw a heavy truck that brings a lot of stuff for the camp.

You can buy a day pass for $20 and soak in the hot springs. The pools are built up nicely and there's 5 pools. There's clean hot showers and changing rooms too. Very beautiful and relaxing, overlooking a hot 108F lake. Day pass soaking ends at 8pm but you can hang out after to clean up or just hang out. Day pass opens at 6a. Reservations required via website but no credit card required. Hot springs pools are 100 to 108F. Today June 24, 2024 the pools were about 103 to 105F. You won't regret visiting!

USFS & NPS have worked hard to improve this road; decently smooth drive, minor washboard. Only need 2WD, low-clearance is fine. Saw a couple tesla and bmw sedan’s.
I didn’t stay at this exact pull-out, but one further south. Open sky for Starlink; had 1 bar Verizon LTE that was unreliable and kept going in and out.
Road was very busy on a Sunday (3+ dozen cars passed by in the evening), but really quiet on a Monday (5-6 cars max all day - two of which were government).

Most of the firepits have had the rocks removed from around them. Beautiful views!
