Updating the GPS as it’s totally wrong. Alejandro seems to be a nice and honest guy, will update once we get the repair done.

Dropped off at 3:30 to friendly guy. Told pick up next day at 5 but then when we went there he said next morning. Told him we were trying to leave town and he said 7:30. Charged 500 pesos for a big bag, washed and dried.

Arrived early (like 10:30am), and spent day there. No one else in spots when arrived. Throughout day people would come and go. Close to road and bike/walking path, so gets noisy. A family of 4 were in a sprinter type van a couple spots over. Was nervous cops would pay a visit like someone else said earlier, but we were never bothered. Bathrooms and cold outdoor showers in walking distance. No mirrors in bathroom and says "no shaving or bathing, only to wash hands". Beaches closest to spot say no domestic animals allowed. Chickens and roosters roam freely and will pay you a visit. People had to keep stopping so they didn't run them over. People came and left from the spot throughout day and night (up to like 1am). Beautiful sunrise.

We came here to do the penguine tour. Beautiful place directly at the water between two campgrounds. We didn’t find another wild camp ground in Punta Choros at the water without the need of 4x4.

Stayed 1 night while cycle touring this area of Neuquén.
Price 100 ARS (2.50 USD).
Toilets and showers clean and working.
Sites could be a little more well kept (some tables /benches are falling apart) but at this price it's excellent value!

Stayed here from 9pm till 3am, went back into the park to shoot astrophotography, then back to this site from 6am-10am with no problems. Quiet, nice view of the valley.

After the boat trip we decide stay here as it was too hot sleep in the car. Basic, clean, cheap option and very friendly owner.

Going to Ometepe island we boarded the Cacique Nicaraos ferry. Driving a Truck Camper this ferry proved to be a bit small and, even though we had not issues during our voyage, I would not recommend this one for larger rigs.
If you want to ride the ferry with less to worry about be sure to get on the Che Guevara. It is the largest of the Ometepe island ferries.

I was looking for Campo Esmeralda and found this spot instead. Some one said, Campo Esmeralda is closed, but I didn't checked this.

Windy but nice place at Esmeralda Beach, little sheltered under palm trees. 5 km from Mex 1, the intersection is right in front of the military check point, so stop there first. Road is sandy and a bit rough, but 2WD can make it. Some fire rings are here. 5 min walking to the beach with whale bones.

Great camp, stayed at camp site 6 and had wonderful views of hippos and elephants in Kavango river, even had a hippo in camp the first morning. Free wifi, although at times a bit slow. Nice bar and burgers for lunch was tasty. N$170pp is a great price for what you are getting. Beautiful camp, will definitely return.

Descent the small dirt road in the bent of the road 71. You will find a flat spot in the orchard. A small disadvantage is that the train passes by on 50 meters, but the train is not too noisy.

Campground located in the forest near the Mirador (5 minutes walking distance) next to Rio Fitz Roy (that is the source of drinking water). Sandy forest floor that makes it easy to pitch your tent. Plenty of wood and stones lying around to build your own dining table in front of your tent if you like (old creations still standing as well). One privy that REEKS LIKE HELL AND A THOUSAND DEAD RATS, but there’s not much else you can do when you feel like evacuating your bowels since doing so in the wilderness is not allowed.
Very basic campground.

Very nice spot with view over de fields. In monsoon its probably even more beautiful. Very quite and hidden, we didnt see anyone, just many birds. Many spots around. We didnt need 4wd but I dont know about rain season. Enjoy this rare beautiful spot in this area!

It is a very nice place with shade, palapas and fireplace. No water (even the dam was very low) and because of a broken pipe you cant use the toilets! He told us they are in the process of fixing. He wanted 100Peso/Pers but we negotiated it down to 50 per Pers as we could not use the toilets.

Finally found a real locksmith in a real local. No extra charge like some others (50$ for the call). Brian also repair bicycle. Broadway and 39th street. It took me an afternoon to find the good one. Very kind and a good service.

There are round cement sewer access covers with a 6 in. x 6in. square cement in the center which can be removed. Our dump hose could be used there.

Ok for overnight stop between Puerto Natales and Punta Arenas. Gravel area with volcanic 'plug' natural monument a few hundred metres further, but as commented not accessible. River can be accessed for water from the opposite side of the road.

Wonderful view! Its just perfect! But..... the road here...just a few observations. We did it with our VW Kombi, our engine is weak, so if the road is dry you can make it in any vehicle. High clearance is nice. The lake is in 3300 m. But on the road you climb twice to 3700 m! First 10 kilometers are really steep. They told you it is 1,5 h drive, for us 3 hours. However you will be rewarded by the epic view, nice people, crystal clear water, trouts in the river (fishing allowed, ask for instructions at the entrance), senderos. Just check the weather before, snow and strong wind can be tricky. In March during the night it was between -3 and 3 degrees Celsia without wind. During the day with the sun its warm. Season when the Reserve is opened is January till end of March (I assume, more info at website). At the lagoon guys are selling some basic food - fruits, agua caliente, biscuits, sometimes they are cooking dinner.

This camp is situated 10 km from the beach and is fenced and secured. You will find bandas and cottages next to camping. The spots are close to eachother, but have power and a light. It has a restaurant and swimming pool and showers, which the staff told, where only cold showers. There is also wifi. We haven’t asked for the prices as we didn’t. This was due to it missing a nice vibe. Although the camp is better equipped and organised, we rather stayed at the beach at Tweega with crappy facilties.

Nice location, possible to walk to the town. Kitchen area is good. Not really a campsite actually, the two places for overlanders are not really camping spots. Biggest downside is the ablution, only one toilet/shower for all the permanent tents and campsites. The tents were almost fully occupied when we stayed, so the ablution needed to be shared by everybody making it dirty and often occupied.

Labé is a nice city, which is worthwile visiting. Looking for a place to camp you probably end up here. Shower and toilets are nice, though at the other side of the compound when you camp. This is the only positive thing we can mention.
In general we would rename the place to Hotel No-no, since service is low and prices are high (small pizza €7, beer €2). On almost every question we asked the answer was no; can we have some hot water (for making coffee): no, can you replace the toiletpaper: no, can we charge somewhere no, and so on. The second day she asked us when we were planning to leave... When other overlanders came, we had to share the key for toilet and shower, she did not give an extra key, neither did she open the other toilet and shower for them. B.t.w.: toilet and shower were never cleaned in the 3 days we were there.
