Typical older RV Park rough road, poor utility placement and narrow sites, but people are friendly

Price is $25 USD not $20. There are 5 other campgrounds just south of this one but I’m not sure of their pricing. Stayed here with 4 vans and it was all good.

500 m closer to road before going downhill near edge of cliff there is also this spot.

This place is Aldi entrance to Pathé (carproof) leading to open spot surrounded by busjes. At 200 m Aldo Some shelters for Carles which couldbe used with heavy rain.

Hotel cerrada. No hay problema para dormir en carro en el estacionamiento. Restaurante abierto con Baños limpios.

Beautiful spot but we could not fit through the gates. The gate is narrow and the mirrors would not fit throuhh We set up our camper outside of the gates and made friends with the local fishermen. They do not speak english but we google translate works great. So we were wild camping.

Couldn't find it, but there are a lot of other camps around. The price range is from 3500-8000 pp. Some of them are big-rigs friendly.

Large open area just past the water tower. Road was rutted but hard packed - no trouble for a 2WD Promaster. Private and good phone signal. No amenities.

Found it, but appears to be closed, not sure if closure is permanent.

Ok place, we were the only ones there, so had the clean ablutions all to ourselves. 130 P/pp. Nice cat friend kept us company. Would have loved a swim but he swimming pool was so dirty that it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned
for months..disgusting.

I stayed here for almost two weeks while my husband was on an Antarctica cruise. We tried a few different places but they were to close to the noisy traffic or to far from town. This spot has the best view, has 4g and is within walking distance to the city centre. It is close to the nautic club with a toilet. BUT you are not alone! Many people come to sit here in their car to watch the view until late in the night with of course some music and talking, so don't forget your earplugs. And it can be a bit dusty because it is a gravelroad. I felt safe here and I really really loved the view, it's a picture postcard!

There are a couple places with free 24 hour parking on the beach side of corniche road with Palm trees and newly planted shrubs. The walking/bike trail goes by here, and just a few steps to the beach. McDonald's and Starbucks nearby.

Several cars spent the night.

A bit noisy in the evening (park closer to beach a little quieter).

No one bothered us.

A really nice local guy with decent English told is about all there great wild places to visit between here and Jordan.

Taneka Beri is a Foundation to protect Taneka people way of life. You can visit the vilage for 3000CFA pp. We camp here for free, after doing the visit, and they open us a bungalow for bucket shower. You can also stay at the bungalows for 5.500 each room. Food available, but ask for price.

Coming from the main road you will go through a little village. Quite soon the road will become dirt road. Take the first dirt road wide enough for cars to the right. On google earth you should see Ahmedpur Mandvi Beach. This is where you will enter the beach. 4x4 needed to drive on the sand. Only accessible for smaller cars because of overhanging trees.

Beautiful clean beach. Stretches for 1,5 k. Only saw a few people walking, some friendly waves where exchanged. View on the fort of Diu. Lovely spot!!

Here you can take your ticket for the ferry to Kho Lanta. 300bth for car and driver. 20 bath for passenger. Free for children

I would not recommend this place if you are in a tent. You pay 180 pp to stay on tiny patch of artificial grass - I genuinely had more space camping next to the main stage at Glastonbury, and my fellow campers were cleaner (see
photos).

Positives: nice pool area, good location, fast WiFi and excellent breakfast included. Negatives: expensive, some of the dorms don’t have fans and are boiling, some staff are rude, very strict no noise past 10pm.

Great little coffee shop, run by the Asas Milk Company. Excellent food, pizza, coffee.

Lovely campsite and cottages, located on an active dairy farm where they also breed horses. The campsite is situated on a large grassy area near the restaurant and bar, where they also serve great home made three course meals. During chilly evenings the fireplace is lit and coal fire stove are provided. The view from the campsite is fabulous over the lush garden and nice surrounding landscape. There are latrine toilets and showers, basic, but al tidy and clean. Great place for an overnight stay, or better, for a couple of days to escape from the rush of daily life.

Silent and a nice swim! Only waste bins provided. Some shade.

Very basic hospedaje, hot shower but no pressure. there is a quincho where you can cook. 1500 pesos for a double room. Owner not really nice and wifi is meh

A nice site next to water hole it can be seen from the road, many animals. BTC communication.
At night a patrol of the community stopped next to us and charged us for illegal camping 300pp we convinced them to pay only for one.So maybe it is better to find a hidden site. In the morning about 200 buffalos.

Still overtaken by locals. They asked for 50 pesos, we gave 20 and they waved us through.

Had a good night on their separate parking lot. Quiet also. Friendly employees,checked in, get a card, spin the wheel and won 5 dollar play money. Would stay here again

We pulled in here on our bicycles and found a restaurant and a soon-to -be -open lodge.
We asked to set up our tent and they didn’t quite know what to do with us, but agreed and said we need to pay for camping.
They seemed unsure and the guy asked for 450 p. I told him that that was ridiculous (there is no running water here because the pump is broken).
I told him 200p and they agreed.
We camped behind the restaurant and had a peaceful night.
Dinner and breakfast was excellent!
The people friendly!
