Great campground if you can get a spot, for small rigs/small trailers. First come/first serve. $15/night. Friendly camp host. Paved, windy-narrow road with many potholes (rough road sign is serious)

Awesome place on National Forest. First 2 Mile of the road are through private land, road itself is public.

Good site to spend a night. Very close to Mt Bachelor. there's a fire ring, some noise from nearby highway..

We are here during the Covid-19 virus. Alvaro & Adrianna are super sweet. We arrived unannounced and were lucky enough that Adrianna had just pulled up. Next door to the entrance of Potrero Chico main arch . A sweet place with 4 rooms for rent, two areas for campers and tents with hot showers, outside BBQ and patio. We drove our van into the compound and connected to electricity, Alvaro and Adrians are the perfect hosts. 200 pesos per night.

Great place to crash for one night. It was a little tight with out 35ft Motorhome, but it worked out great. The city police officer even came out here to give us our overnight parking permit, and sat and chatted with me for a bit. Great little hidden gem and the price was awesome.

Cross over damn and continue up road that will turn to dirt. Roads in pretty good shape with just a few ruts from mud.

This spot is a decent size and could fit several vehicles. No one here this evening. Great stars and sunset.

In the ruins of the old Caravanserai Abbasabad.
2 km west of the main street.
No visitors, absolute calm, very windy. Wonderful herbal scent of the Iranian steppe.
It is the largest system of this type that I have ever seen, from different eras. Unfortunately, all building complexääes are left to decay. But this seems to have been a very big resting place on the old silk road.

Awesome place for a one nighter. We arrived about 7:30pm and had it to ourselves till we left at 7am. An amazing sunset over the gorge was a bonus. If you are looking for multiple nights go into the forest further south with tons of boondocking roads. But for an easy access one nighter, this place is perfect.

Looked like an awesome place to camp but there was a sign that said overnight camping closed. Bummer, but had to find somewhere else to stay. Not sure when camping here will open up again. Also, there was a sketchy run down motorhome here

This track leads to a viewpoint, but along it on both sides are many flat grounds with wonderful campspots all unfenced and unrestricted.

No facilities and track is easy-moderate where 4x2 is possible but 4x4 of course preferred.

This place is great! Seems a little too good to be true. I can only imagine it's availability relies soley on, being quiet. Park, sleep....move on. The water is here, great for some pics. People put boats in here so, there are only a few van sized parking spaces (I'm 21ft long).... please be courteous to the boaters.... don't park in their spots or else the next time.... we might have "no over night parking" signs up....😁

Boondocking site with views. Dramatic end of land that can be windy. No amenities, but good for short 2 mile hike.

Very nice place. Good views and very quiet, only 3 vehicles passed by on the road.

Perfect for a one night stand! Some mosquitos but relay quiet. Just two cars passing by in the morning.

Nice gravelbanks for swimming and Cliff for Rockclimbing. Only downside are a lot of (non stinging) moscitos at night...

Nice spot out in the woods for an overnight or longer depending what you like or want to do. There are a couple stone fire pits within the loop, enough room for several vehicles depending if you're all moving at once (one way loop really).

A bit of trash in the area, some near the fire pit, some in the surrounding bush. We'll clean up a bit of what was left here before we leave.

Pond is just down a short trail. Could probably fish it if there's anything in it. Otherwise Sundance Lake (last photo, stocked with fish) is a short couple minute walk/ride further down the road.

Heavy rains can make the whole area a bit mucky. Sundance Lake is a little flooded today, some of the walkways/piers are underwater.

Several decent sites along this Forest Service Road that leads to a trailhead. We had no problem getting our 28' Class A in here. Strong AT&T signal.

This pin is in the wrong location and I have tried to correct it. If you follow this pin it will take you to a business park on the outskirts of town that has signs that explicitly say "no overnight parking." In case the coordinates don't get fixed you should google Fallo-Pleasant Municipal Parking for the actual lot all of these reviews describe. We spent two nights there and you couldn't ask for a better location to explore Ocean Springs.

Nice campground on the approach to Lusaka. With nice lake and animals.

There was a full gate closing off the road to local traffic only. Not accessible, but I wonder if it's closed entirely or simply due to covid?
