Very clean bathrooms. WiFi. Dump station. Water available to fill tank only but electrical at most sites. Lots of trees and green grass. Little creek with crawdads for the kids and/or tired feet. Owner gave out otter pops to the kids. A little oasis.

Walmart parking lot. Bit noisy but that depends on the night. Some truckers also used the corner lot.
We stayed with our trailer and occupied two spots. No issues.

Nice large space big enough for a few small rigs or a camper or two but only a single fire pit. its not obvious at first but the road continues through the campsite to another one farther on. don't be like us and park right on the road without realizing it :)

Temporarily closed (for the intermediate term). Might be COVID related. State Park Campground across the highway also closed.

Go to Honeyman or South Beach state parks for free dump instead.

There are three sites off the side of the road. They have no fire rings and no pit toilets. They're literally just short side road with an opening for camping. Probably can't fit big rigs, except in the first site (this one), which is an *immediate* right off the road. Because it's so close to the highway, there is traffic noise. But if you're in a tight spot for a place to park, this will do. (The other two sites are up the road a little more and are likely quieter, but they were taken when we got here. )

Beautiful vista about 200' up from (St. John's?) creek. We parked our van (sprinter 144) next to the rock and gravel road facing the ridge across the creek, about 100 yards before an open forest road gate for Deer Creek Rd #5. We saw a number of other campsites along the way, some occupied. High clearance or due care advised once you go past Montezuma village, did not use our 4x4. We traveled from Florida, nice to have a cool 40⁰ night in the middle of August.

Nice Lakeside campsite with view of Lake McCarty right out the front door. Accessible by well maintained county road. Pulled in with out 22’ trailer and excursion no problem. Has picnic table and fire ring. I wifi but cell service worked fine with at least 1 bar.

Large open area with fire pits. Close to road so it is noisy during the day but quiet at night. We ended up here since Abraham Lake was completely full with weekend campers. There are many places along this road to camp. Decent Rogers cell signal.

Just a dirt pull-off on USFS-135. With some work, you can find the one level arrangement (see photo of van for orientation). For being right off the road, it's quite quiet. Very little traffic. No high clearance required. No cell service if you have TMobile, but Verizon gets a little signal.

Best spot around. Fit my long wheelbase Sprinter w/ motorcycle on the back with no issues. Cop rolled by in the morning while we cooked breakfast outside in the lot and didn’t even stop.

Nice spot on the beach. No signs that say anything against overnight stays, or anything stating you need an oversand permit. Made it down the rough, somewhat steep, entranceway onto the sand in my RWD long wheelbase Sprinter no problems.

Nice spot for camping on the lakeshore near steel cross with great view and lots of space for tents. You need to turn right from the asphalt on the dirt road. It's a bit bumpy but no need for 4x4, Fiat Argenta and Micra K11 drove there without breaking a sweat. There's some trash, as everywhere, but not much. Quiet and calm at night and in the mornings.
