Someone reported closed closed. Yes, it's closed in WINTER and could be noted in the comments. To give it a red flag overall is not right. Many folks could miss a nice place. This is 8/21 in a heatwave and it's warm but not oven baked like lower elevations. Verizon signal with 29mbps to my phone.

There is no potable water here. This is wild camping. There are pit toilets and bear proof trash containers at the USFS campground a bit up the road. Very nice place, well kept. $7.00 per night.

parking by the Brach. quite busy until late at night and again early in morning. otherwise ok to spend the night. lots of room. Nice view of lake with picnic tables.

Fabulous spot by the creek, 2 campsites each with its own clean outhouse and picnic table.

Casona Don Giovanni is located in Pisac (urbanization La Rinconada), within the Sacred Valley of Cusco. The house has private rooms with shared bathrooms and kitchen, also has a green area for parking.

What a great place, down by the lake, with plenty of trees and birds flying around (loads of Tui). If you're headed out to Doubtful Sound it's a 5 minute walk through the Beeches and along the river to the harbour. All the facilities you need, super friendly owners and good wifi. The facilities have everything you need and its $42 for two for the night. The Church Bar and Restaurant is a quick walk and serves great food - especially the Cod and chips.

As described, no amenities but because there is nothing else to stop it is ok. Really windy.

beautiful spot. we spend a night with friends here. dont miss the road. the last section is bumpy as said. The lake is good for a swim. be careful with the fire place becauae there are no stones around. take all your trash with you and leave the place like you found it. a lot of blueberries around here. very tasty.

Spent two nights. Expensive for what you get. WiFi is not at every campsite. Animals are out of control - squirrels, chipmunks, geese, birds, bears will all bother you. We awoke to a bear trying to open our drivers side door the first morning. Beach is beautiful and included. We’d come back they just need to allow dogs so that the other animals will stay away.

Beautiful, serene, remote, creek side camping. Perfect location for fly fishing. The road to get out here is treacherous and should not be attempted after rain or without a high clearance vehicle.

Show up and you'll meet Scar, a welcoming host with useful tips for the surrounding area. Have a chat, he has a great sense of humor. Tent camping is great here, just find a more flat area which is easy with little effort. He also provides electric connections for campers/trailers (30A&40A).
Scar has a few reasonable requests during your stay so please listen and oblige. If it's not for you, there is a KOA next door... but you should be able to play nice for a free nights stay and free amenities (including beer!), right?

Very open campground, practically no shade. But far away from the other spots so weirdly quite private. Very clean washrooms, arrived on a Friday arvo and there were heaps of spots. Just outside cell service

On Swan Lake, close to Vernon. Small campground. We had a pull thru site and paid $54/nt (including tax).
Canoes, and kayaks available.

Small site by the water. Fire pit already in place. Absolutely magical.

Arrived at around 8 PM on a Friday evening. Many of the spaces (especially by the river at the end of the loop) were occupied. Ended up pulling into a quiet spot at the beginning near the entrance. Beautiful location and, in spite of the high occupancy, quiet and private. A very short walk down to the river brought us to an easy access to the water. Wasn't really much bothered by the occasional train passing on the far side of the river. Highly recommend.

Camping with powered and unpowered sites. Facilities include Laundry ($4+$4), Showers ($4/8 min). Wifi. Facilities open for day use, even if not camping.

The shepherd lives up with his family from May to September with his family, 360 sheep and 6 friendly shepherd dogs.
There's fresh milk and cheese with him.
It leads a fixed meadow path to the hillhead. H+

1 slightly slanted spot for an 17' van or less (depending on how far the bush behind me keeps growing). The rest of the spots are too slanted to sleep in. This is very hidden from the road. Nobody will be here from late friday night until early Monday morning. Easy on and off from highway. No services at all. Decent cell signal.
