Back here again, its become one of my go to spots. Just don't mess it up!!

The shepherd warnd us of bear visits at night! so, don't let food or pets outside!

It’s a nice place and the showers are hot now (they heat up the water with fire so after 7 pm shower is hot). But the whole bear thing is gone. You’re not allowed to go to the lake around sunset en they’ve killed 7 bears because they came to close to human. We didn’t see any bear. It the lake is nice and the camping also.

Saw the signs prohibiting everything, incl open fires, camping, camper vans in general, but the opposite seems to be happening and police doesn’t seem to care. We had a great night here, inacredibely beautiful surroundings. We filled up our water canisters from the creek nearby. The river was dry.

Unser Parkplatz ist außerhalb des Zaunes auf unserem Privatgrund. Die kleine Landstraße an der er liegt ist außer während der Maisernte kaum befahren. Wir bieten euch Strom über eine Kabeltrommel und Wasser aus einem Schlauch an. Während der hellen Tagesstunden könnt ihr ein von außen zugängliches WC mit Waschbecken im Haus nutzen. Dabei solltet ihr allerdings Hunde mögen da unsere 3 jeden Besucher sehr überschwänglich begrüßen.

There is a $100 fine for camping overnight here.

Currently closed Nordic Ski Centre carpark. Start for hiking. Wonderful views. Very quiet and relaxed.

Small habour&beach place (nice for a swim), next to a forest with view onto the lake. You have to go underneath the train tracs, maybe not for very big rigs. you reach directly the beach&can go the gravel path a bit further. trains doesn‘t really bother.

a beautiful spot at the lake. very nice sunset. quite. two fireplaces available. easy accessible for swiming.

Nice clearance just off the bridge. Access to the river. During the day lots of people trying to cool down in the river. Campfires possible.

Beautiful views. Water crossing before campsite is approx 40cm deepth.

Pull off along the highway. Large enough for several vehicles. Technically no signs. There is one with a tent crossed out. I fell asleep with a few other campers around and woke up with another skoolie neighbor. Nice view when the fog burns off. Stay quiet and respectful! Trash cans and att service!

Travel Centre with showers and laundry service. Nice and clean.

very peaceful and with great views. no more light than the stars in the night.

next to a riverbed which I assume flows during wet season. site is right off the road as well but it quieted down at sunset. small site, 2 cars max. firepit as well.

A big field next to a (what seems to be) closed churrascaria, with trees providing shade. There is a bit of noise from the traffic at the street - not so much during the night though. We felt very safe and quiet.

Public access to Cameron Lake. Very shallow sand beach. A small boat loading point with public access and day parking. Basically a smaller quieter version of the Singing Sand.

Campsite at the eastern end of Val-d'Isère. More like an open field. Nice view of the mountains. Can do laundry. y hand. Maybe there is a washing machine available, I didn't ask.

Paid 7 euros for my tent, bicycle and me.5 minutes of hot water in the shower was 1 euro.

Good starting point for cyclists that go over the Col de l'Iseran.

A big launderette with many machines and fast WiFi. Also had such and toilets and change machine.

Nice spot right off the road. Sweeping views of the Rim. Lots of trees for shade and hammocks. Rock Fire pit. 4x4 not necessary to access. Quiet. LTE Available.

Modern, trendy facilities, nice stop to purchase a good coffee to go, rooster broods and more. Seating under the trees, hire gas or self cater, scullery and clean bathrooms. Curio/tourist shop too.

Bird hide with views over a water hole. No facilities except to park and disembark and visit the hide. Nice spot!

Nice spot with 180 degree view of the Steilberg and associated hills. No facilities.

Nicely located and laid out camp with good space between each site. The 2.1km Rhino Trail is easy underfoot and recommended, with the first 400m including an informative Braille Trail for the visually challenged.
