Very close to the highway, but ideal for a 4x4 or AWD rig, if it’s wet it could be a risky entrance for a 2WD vehicle but not impossible. Plenty of space for multiple vehicles.

great spot that is close to the mesa Verde national park. spot #2 was good level ground with a few trees for a hammock. had a few other visitors, some sites were close to one another. pretty quiet off the highway. passable in 2wd Honda fit.

Great overnight camping spot for monkey mia dolphin adventure! $30 per night for the umpowered site as an RAC member for 2 adults, plus $30 for 2 adults for dolphin "adventure. Good Telstra reception, free WiFi, great shower and kitchen facilities and very busy!

ZAR380 for two persons camping. Nice well kept site, children's play area and a Wimpy restaurant. Depending on where one sets up, it can be a long walk to the ablutions or scullery. Watch out for monkeys!

Great place to stay! Big area for camping with power facilities. No kitchen. Shower with hot water. Path through San Francisco river.

As stated; this is an incredible spot on the lake and absolutely worth the 2 hour drive from Mzuzu. Prices are still the same as reported and Dani is a fantastic host. You can basically camp anywhere you like with a ground tent or you can rent one of their tents. For rooftop tents you can unfortunately only camp in the parking area which will is a bit cramped given that we had 2 off-road trailers and 2 cars, but we still managed to setup nice camp and stayed for 2 nights. The scenery and tranquility makes it all worth it!

I came on a Friday afternoon. I figured it would be tough to find a spot, but I got one, not on the water, but close enough. It was SUPER busy all night. People kept pulling into my spot shining their lights on my car. Lots of teenagers it seemed trying to party. Lots of RVs with loud generators. And people start driving in at 5am to fish. Probably won’t go on a weekend again. But the area is really beautiful.

Big gravel lot at roads end. Any size rig can turn around. Nice view, very quiet. Lots of driftwood for a fire.

Stayed 2 nights and will stay some longer. Beautiful. Multiple spots going up. Some annoying ATVs cruising by this weekend but that's often the case in the US. Could have a fire in August: awesome. Can be windy. Some spots have natural shade others don't.

Nice spot to setup for a night, River is cool to walk around and lots of space. We setup on the river, for quite a thunder and lighting show but it was awesome

A big gravel parking lot next to Baskin Robbins. Got in around 11pm parked and woke up around 6am. Heard a couple of walkers in the night. There are bathrooms across the street at Bothell Landing.

Beautiful spot! Lots of space for tents, cars, RVs. There were maybe 4 groups who stayed overnight while we were there. Great swimming, but the water is quite a bit lower from where you park, if you need water for cooking etc make sure to get it before it gets dark as the climb is a bit steep. Porta potty is cleaned weekly but was fine when we were there. Beautiful sunset. Train goes by a few times a night, not too loud though.

Amazing spot right on a cliff, overlooking Lake Superior. Access to water at some points. Sit on the rocks & watch the sunset!
We swam & the water was beautiful but just be cautious as the rocks underneath can be slightly sharp to walk on.
A good few spots to choose from for tent / vehicle camping. We also had a fire pit.
There is a road with a dead end after the camp spots that can be awkward to reverse out of - just be wary!

Great place with everything you need! The showers are great, strong pressure and hot! The owners are lovely and run a good restaurant which is also popular by the locals. We had the best grilled trout ever! You have to taste. They come right from the pod behind the house.Wifi wasn’t very fast but ok.

Super endroit pour se promener la journée ou dormir la nuit. Le village est vraiment beau et mignon, on peut faire de belles balades au bord du fleuve, la place est très propre et olein de charme avec le vieux presbytère. Nous avons été au marché juste à côté le samedi matin. les toilettes sont propres. Je recommande complètement!

As described. No frills gravel parking lot at a church. Safe and relatively quiet.

Very quiet place and a good wild camping spot. You can make a little fire and swim in the lake/river. Probably there are some local fisher’s. We did not hear the noise of the road btw

Gates in front of field now, sign stating horseback, foot, or bicycle access only. Saw some tents in the field but you cannot drive a rig in the field. Could not stay in our van.

Nice large site right on a creek with its own waterfall. Has a large fire pit and room for several campervans

Costco parking lot, free parking for members. Permission given by manager on duty. Park away from store , do not park in back. Quiet night

Great little rec site, nice lake. The road is definitely bumpy once you get closer to the lake, no problem with a Sprinter 4x4.

Nice place in the center. But when we will sleft the day after there was a new quard and was friendly to. When we left he suddenly wrersaasked 20tl instead of 10. It became a big problem. I double checked the evening before if the price was the same for sleeping. This was the same..

Nice little park with outdoor shower and washroom. Could maybe get away with an overnight stay if respectful.
