Stayed her one night to make some gamedrives in the park! We were two cars and had more than enough space, very clean and nic ablution. Not cheap but worth the money for us! Lots off chade on spots 2, 3 & 4! Not to much wildlife but raining season is very late this year!

Road on the Gabon side was quite good, some smaller waterholes. Congo side just a long stretch but everything ok except a real long waterhole after nyanga. There’s a deviation to the left heading south. Go not through.

Camping on the gravel La Gringa Beach north of Bahia de Los Angeles. The last 3 km are a bumpy dirt road but fine with 2 WD. Nice view over the bay and to the surrounding mountains and islands. Great sunset. No fee, no amenities.

Campsite between the villages of Molulco and Compu on the Ruta 5. Space for tents on campground although it does look sloping near the top, it looks flatter near the coast. You could probably ask to park an RV or campervan in the car park. Hot showers all day.
Owners really kind and helpful, they let us keep out of the rain with the kids in the Fogon next to the campsite. Also bought us dry wood for the fire.
We were offered bread and eggs to buy from the owner.

Nice new hostel in a great location close to the beach and a lot of cool cafes and restaurants. Parking for 3-4 small rigs in the rear parking lot with no height or width restrictions. Electricity hookup available. Really nice garden with organic fruits and vegetables. The manager Nico is super friendly and helpful. We paid 15,000 pesos per night for 2 people sleeping in a van. We thought we would stay for 1 night and stayed 3. Highly recommend!

Food is ok (nothing special) but it is too expensive. There are far better places (and cheaper) paces around.

On a cold raining and windy day, we arrived here in the hope to find a warm place. The people were very friendly, but the restaurant was closed after lunchtime. When we saw the sites in the open field, far away from the baños (and restaurant), we had to make the decicion not to stay. Got our money back and they even recommended the next camping, Catrue, that has much more sheltered forest sites. Would come here with nice weather!

We stayed there with our tent for two nights. We had no problems and felt safe. The beach and the football pitch is a bit dirty, but it's okay...

Our favorite place at Baja has changed but it’s still a beautiful spot- yes, it’s not longer allowed to camp on the beach but if’s not to busy there you will find your spot; we stayed there 8nights and we’ll be back for more; the good, old days are over

we've stopped here because of the numerous positive comments.
our motorhome had a noise in the direction.
they've made a bad diagnostic.
they dont' have the tools for motorhome and big rigs.
firstly they've changed 2 pieces (bielettes de direction) and in the evening the noise was still here. the next day we go again and they say there's no noise. finaly they say we've to buy other pieces (rotules de direction) and they just have changed one because they don't have the good tools and it has taken more than 2hours for the first.
finaly, they seemed very friendly at our first meeting but after it was not the same
there's just one mecanician and the two others people are chiefs
definitely not recommended for big rigs or motorhome

really cool place!!
the dormatory is a room with a single bed, where you get to by crossing another two bed room. the kitchen is well equiped, the wifi (only works in the kitchen and on the balcony) works fast and reliable. you get the key to the bathrooms, so you can close one and use it as your private bathroom. the showers there are amazing, a lot and really hot water. when you get into the door, you forget you are in the middle of Sucre, because you can hardly hear any cars,... and the owner is really nice. they also offer private bedrooms with private baths.

you can find this place apprently on booking.com, if you just stop by, you have to ring the bell on the right side of the massive entrance door ( there is no sign or anything - almost across of a restaurant called Amsterdam)

We loved staying here. Ulli and Hedi and their staff do everything to make your life comfortable. Camping in their beautiful tropical garden, nice ablutions, electricity on site, awesome swimming pool and a nice terrace with different seats and even a bed to rest on. Used her washing lines. Hedi cooked a nice meal for us too!

Friendly, but they did not solve our problem. Maybe they have little experience with VW bus... I also think they charged a lot for the service.

This water is definitely potable. If it wasn't, there would be signs saying so. Non-potable water must be clearly identified as such, which it isn't...

Yes.. the toilets are not what you would expect at the Hilton but they are not that bad. The campsite is an excellent place for the night and Cacho the chap that runs it is lovely. it's not that noisy and the 'fees' are voluntary and Cacho was more than happy when we gave him 150 pesos in the morning. Electric..Hot Shower... water.. good night's sleep.. Bargain!
