thibaud.animation | Beautiful place to stay for the night... A bit windy but you can park your van between small trees. In front of the sea, we saw groups of sealions and dolphins hunting and we are not sure but probably couple of pinguins :) we picked and cooked some mussels from the rocks... Really yummy ! No need four wheel drive |

Golandy | Beheshti street is already tagged, It’s indeed a good area for carparts. For land rover owners: there’s a land rover shop with plenty of parts to fit a UK land rover - the engine, suspension and transmission of the iranian land rovers are different, so not sure on 300tdi and TD5 parts, but other parts should be available. Very helpful and they speak some English, they also found us a garage across the street for a small repair-job. |

Golandy | Great place, truly felt like a home away from home on our trip. Very friendly young couple, we spend a couple evenings together. English is pretty good, both are helpful. Rooms were clean, toilets and showers too. Quiet area. Internet is decent. Breakfast was good. Laundry is 2 euro per load. We paid 22 euro for a double room. You can also book on hostelworld if you want a confirmed reservation. Pay in euro. We parked on the street which wasn’t an issue, but it’s a bit narrow for big trucks. Our defender 110 with stuff on top was no problem. Close to beheshti street and within walking distance from the main sights. |

Golandy | Not hotel parking, just parking. Not a quiet or secluded place. Location is good though. We stayed in the hotel because we had our parents over. Good parking in front of the hotel 😁 It’s a bit pricey and breakfast was not good. We had rooms around the small courtyard in the back and they were decent, showers very good, everything very clean too. Lots of rooms face the restaurant and they are bad value (I had to haggle a bit to get the good ones). |

4ever2wherever (Margriet & Jan) | Campsite in Snowy River National Park, a few minutes walking from the Snowy River. Two longdrop toilets, no other facilities. Grassy terrain surrounded by trees, few shady places. When we visited in the peak season it became really full with eventually 29 cars and many tents; be early for a good spot! Good but narrow gravel access road (traffic in the opposite direction can be challenging). Park access and campground are free. Limited Telstra reception. The first river access leads to a point with lots of boulders and a strong current. If you continue walking along the river for a few hundred meters you arrive at a small beach and a sandy river access without current. One walk of about 1.5 km starting at the campground can be made. It is best to walk clockwise: the path is a little overgrown for a small section in the middle and you may miss it when walking counterclockwise. |

4ever2wherever (Margriet & Jan) | Grass terrain with many shady trees next to the Buchan Caves Visitor Centre. Well maintained ablutions. The place called kitchen has picnic tables and dishwashing sinks, nothing else. Prices are per site (up to six persons): peak season no power AUD 59.10. |

4ever2wherever (Margriet & Jan) | At this side of the Snowy River are six or so picnic places and parking areas south of Orbost that are used for camping. They are directly next to the river and most of them also directly next to the Orbost - Marlo road; we saw one with bushes between the road and the parking. No facilities, free. |

bruno.o.costa | we stayed at the tends and paid P375 pn. The place is under renovation. Good pool with a bar. Campsites are too close one from the other. We took a transfer to Victoria Falls for P495 pp and the Chobe River Cruise for P310 pp, this last one cheaper than other places. |

lukejv | Motorcycle and ATV mechanic. John speaks fluent English. Had an overall bad experience after requesting a subframe bolt upgrade, new shock, and basic service. Showed up after being told the bike was ready and it wouldn’t run properly (was running fine when handed over). Was told to wait for a phone call as we both suspected that it was a simple fix (turned out to be a pinched carb vent pipe when the tank and seat was put back on). Had to wait two days to collect the bike with a lot of false promises in between (granted this was over the weekend, but it wouldn’t have taken long to do a basic look over and hand it back working properly). Collected the bike and rode off only to find a short while later that the back pannier frame wasn’t bolted on at all. Ended up coming off while riding and having to search for it. The lower subframe bolt was also loose even after stressing the importance of making sure the subframe bolts were in good order. Made me question the workmanship of the other work. Oil filter, oil, shock, bolts, valve check, tensioner tightened, came to 190,000 clps. |

Adriaan&Isabelle | Very nice campground. Probably under new management: friendly staff, clean (heated) bathrooms, hot showers, warm water at sinks, even warm water at laundry sinks at the outside of the building, emptied garbage bins all over the terrain, even the ashes are removed from all BBQs every day. Cut grass at sites. Showers closed at night. Large communal room with tables and seats, stove, and two huge indoor fire places with four large, height adjustable grates. Great as a shelter and for cooking when the weather is bad. Latest pricing: 320 ARS per person per day (EUR 7,5). Electricity available between 19:00 and 23:00 (or later). Slow WiFi 70 pesos per 30 minutes (can be used in fractions). WiFi only during electricity hours. Claro GSM antenna across the road: bring a Claro prepaid SIM for your phone. Ended up staying three nights. Hiked up the Cerro Cristal the second day for its great views. |

ghostnetwork | Amazing service and great mechanics. Had to replace a brake relay switch on my Land Rover, thought I was going to have to order, but they found the Lucas part and had me back on the road in an hour. If you are in Cuenca and need repairs, this is the place you need to come. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ |

piperflies | Great place to stay for the night either before or after doing Tamul falls - like everyone says, this is where the boats launch from. We parked in the parking lot closer to the boats where it's still flat and a little grassy but other folks in tents parked closer to the bathrooms. Composting toilets, our dogs had a blast running around after everyone left. Super peaceful! |

mrenard37 | We stayed here, were asked to leave after a few nights. This is a great place. Quiet and green, there is also a mini putt and a coffee shop open 24/7. Well situated, you can get to the Vieux carré in 20 mins by bike. |
