Small campground, 6 places, nice location by the sea in Lo de Marcos. Lots of spaces for big rigs. $9000 pesos per month plus electricity. Care taker is friendly, Carlos and speak a little english. Only 3 minutes from the village on foot

very good to rest and spend the night. toilets and water in the station and 110v electric power. Quiet location and a very large parking area.

We couldn’t find any free camp options so we pulled off the highway into a trail heading towards the beach. We parked off the main trail behind a dune and no one bothered us. The area is mostly hard pack sand with fairly big bushes and lots of wildflowers. 2wd ok but stay on the hard pack sand otherwise 4wd is preferable. Tecel 3G

This place does not exist (any more?). There is no bottileria in San Petro, only a guy who set up a wholesale distribution on a parking lot. He does not sell retail.

nice quiet campsite with very busy salesmen, nearly perfect in common languages to make your staying comfortable. 40 Dirham for truck and two persons per night.

Beautiful long coast over the lake, grassy parcels. Hot showers. You can ask Martina, the owner, for home made bread. Nice camping. We paid 5000 pppn.

An excellent choice to eat local food and buy groceries where locals do. Fish, mariscos, vegetables, local cheese, etc.

At the end of the dirt road there’s a large area where you can park to access the hiking trail. I spent a few nights there and had no problem. I was told it’s private but the land owner tolerates camping, so please be nice to people who come and go for hiking and pickup your trash. If you want to watch the sunrise the large parking area will give you an incredible view! Otherwise for more privacy about 100m before the turn around there’s a spot on your left with a fire pit in the middle of the rocks, very cool site I stayed there as well, I had seen people camping with a tent there and leaving it during the day to go hike in Big Ben National Park, so this place seems safe.

Relaxing place, people here is very nice. Beautiful landscape. Easy and must do trail between native vegetation "frailejones" and lakes.
If you have a normal car only able to enter from El Ángel town, the road between here and Tulcan is only for high vehicles, 4x4 recommended to have fun.

5 big showers at Love's gas station. The shower cost 12$ unlimited with towels and soap. All is very clean.

ticket office is opposite the ferry. it's a small car ferry, all the locals use it. the ferry facilities are very basic. by your provisions at the supermarket just up the street. have a kebab before the voyage!

they have a buffet also in the afternoon. Quite tasty. Good cafe. Nice to hang out.

really big garage, they had no time for me helping some smaller stuff. They do all type of cars. And is a station as well.

Not very clear which of the roads you should walk down. Take the one furthest to the right as you approach from the hiway. When we were there, you could have driven all the way to the park even with 2wd. But we didn't. Understand that the road is not always this good.
Charge is now 50 P each, not sure if we got ripped off or not.
Worth a visit.

Good restaurant right next to home market. Pricey but has large portions. Parking out front. 3000-6000 for a meal, 1700 cfa for brakina.

Very quiet parkinglot, only Little city noise from far. Friendly staff, more RV’s for overnight. All the other shops and restaurants nearby. Felt Very safe!
