We wanted to stay here for one night but the gate is lock now, not able to get there anymore.

A nice, quiet and large parking space next to the Three Merry Lads Inn. Staying overnight was free as long as you buy soms drinks or food at the pub. Very nice people.
There is electricity for up to 4 rigs. No facilities outside the pub, so when the pub is closed you can’t the facilities. The pub is open between 12:00 and 23:00.

Never found the place, thanks for the time wasted.

Perfect place with ocean, beach, trail and nature. Lot of gardens tables. Toilets now open, clean, soap. beautiful sunset. Nice place.

Surprisingly busy dirt road. A couple hikers, no one bothered us.

Nice place as others have said, had it all to ourselves. Spotted tons of wildlife. Note: the entry gate is only open from 7a-4p.

Simple campground on the corner of the boulevard but pretty quiet end of town with about 10 sites. $20pn pay just around the corner at the boat ramp kiosk. No facilities but there is a tap & Portaloo toilets in the ground or flush toilets are a short walk away (5 mins) near the boat ramp/carpark. Nice area, baseball field and playground also a 5 minute walk along with beautiful lake views at the loading area.

Friendly place, clean room with king size bed for 450 pesos.

On the central plaza of San Blas

Good Rest Area for overnight. Free dump station, potable water and rest rooms. Many other campers and locals. It‘s allowed to stay 11 hours.

Hidden area behind some bushes, just next to the road. Hard underground of stones and sand. We did not make it to the next wild camping spot before dark so we checked this place and it looked safe to us. In wet season this place is for sure flooded. We had a quiet night but stayed indoors for safety

Nice place, but 2km of gravel road that can be slippery, be careful. Many mosquitoes :)
Nice short walk to do up to the falls in the morning!

Bicycles: we arrived late at 17:30. No one was there. We had very quiet night.

In the morning at 5:00 came some people to do some weird pagan prayers. They didn't bothered us and we woke up anyway.

We left at 6:30 and no one came to ask for money. Nice spot.

Great spot! Very friendly owner, nice BBQ place with a panorama view. We had thunder and rain, but it was super nice to see it from up here. In the morning lots of sunshine so the views were great again. Showers and toilets are clean.

This place is definitely not big rig friendly. There would be space, but after letting us wait for over an hour, the hostel crew decided that they do not want a big rig parking there. We moved to friends guesthouse instead.

A yam boat called Yapei Queen leaves twice a month. There are 2 stops:
- Kete Krachi - 22ghs for normal ticket and 93ghs for 1st class cabin
- Yeji: 25ghs normal, 113 first class

We asked the lady in the restaurant if we can stay for a night. No problem. We took a beer and she was happy. We slept at her parking lot (sign P FREE) and could use the toilet. There is a big area to park next to the restaurant. But it was to muddy at this rainy time. Walk to ruin at the pyramid of sun starts from here.

Walk (30min) at the sun pyramid with several stops. 5BAM/person without guide. 10BAM/person with guide. Some funny facts. 2BAM for parking. Conclusion: OK:-) If you just want to see the shape of it, got to the highway to sarajevo or the two bridges in town.

When you arrive at the security guard for Costeño beach hostel and others there is a little road turning left. Follow it then there is a little beach place with restaurants and camping. Paid 10k per night in first row with superb views.

Can't get better than that!

good for one night. just off the side road beside the main highway. not one car passed the entire time. lots of different options like this around here

seems to be an active site now. showed up around 18:30 and there were security and workers on site. didn't stay here

Very nice spot for one night. Pit toilet and picnic tables. We parked on the grass by the tables so we were out of the way of the locals. Nice cool breeze and no mosquitoes. Highly recommend

The police station doesn’t exist anymore but this neighborhood is still very quiet and nice. We spent 2 nights (Saturday and Monday) parked in the streets near the Plaza and it was perfect, there was a lot of shops, restaurants (and mechanics) not far.
Town center is at a walking distance (~30mn) and is very quiet and nice too.
No toilets, no water tap, no trash can around...

Big and modern garage and shop, friendly staff. We had to change our emergency wheel, and didn’t know if we had to change the other pneumatics. The owner checked them and said only 1 needed to be changed, what seemed us very fair. They did a professional job and asked us 690Bol for 2 pneumatics change + 2 balanceo

This campsite is in the nice Witsand NR. The costs for the campsite is ZAR 125pP. Entry fee is ZAR 120pP (international). The San wildcard will not be accepted. The ablution block is very clean and have hot water. Each campsite has its own braii place and electricity (but only the South African blue camping adapter fits). In theory they have also a restaurant and a pool - however in this season nobody is here, so its closed. A part from the famous dune you can climb and see there are also some animals like oryx, springbok, dyker, baboon, klipschiefer, mangooses, etc.around. Some are even in or in the bushes behind the campsite.

Showers and sink temporarily out. Plenty of fresh water taps around the campground but no threads. $10 per day. Can only reserve online or by phone. Clean. Strong Verizon signal but very slow speeds. May be difficult for very large rigs. Medium and small rigs no problem. Amazing view of the glacier at one bridge along the campground road.
