We came for asking about the possibility to use the installations (kitchen, toilet, wifi and shower), but sleep in our Campervan, as they did for other overlander down in the comments. They said that they don't offer this service, and made clear that don't want us to stay that it would be "uncomfortable" with the guests. So, I would not recommendation this place for overlanders!

5 individually curtained warm showers. There’s a long bench outside of the cubicle to put your things. Water refill station outside. Our Parks Canada Discovery Pass got us in otherwise $7.80pp to get into the National Park.

Good place, close to Wawa and Hwy 17. Sites in a forrested terrain, therefore no lack of mosquitos. Washrooms a bit old but otherwise clean and functional. Good WFi. 45$ for electricity/water.

As described, really magical place. Especially good for kiddos. According to the county campground directory it is the last to fill up, as it has a lot of spots. First come first serve, cash or check.

Rate for a standard spot is now $20 a night for 2019, maximum 5 night stay. The full hookup site is $30 a night and has a maximum stay of 14 days.

Firewood is available for purchase on site. No showers.

The place is very nice and has got a beautiful view on the river. Camping is 125 pppn or 10Usd. Restaurant and bar are now open but pretty expensive, 30 kwacha for a beer, 110 for a small pizza or an humburger and 125 for a pasta. Showers and toilets are clean, hot water.

Still open. Nice place although not the easiest to get to. Very quiet. Not a lot of level ground about but if you have wheel blocks you should be ok. Rest of original description stands.

charged us 100 for camping pp... and then charged us 50 for use of the day when he realized that we weren't gonna stay a second night. kind of felt annoyed at this. however, there is electricity and the light switch (right of the bathrooms) underneath the BBQ pit. hidden but there! 🙂

Was told by Carlsbad PD that there is no overnight camping here. Was asked to leave or they would cite me.

Beautiful spot, a few other campers here but lots of space. Also LOTS of mosquitoes! Nice and quiet, and the sunset is amazing and lasts forever!

Wild campsite under trees, romantic set up . only 20 sites. my absolute highlite. with swimmingpool (open 10-1pm/3-7pm)

only minus: bit noisy because of nearby trainline and autostrada

As the campsite is positioned on cliff above the ocean, there is a nice senic, steep walk down to the see..~3km

Guesthouse right at the lake with a big courtyard and a large common area.
For 500RUB (2 people) we were allowed to use the toilet and the huge common kitchen. Unfortunately they have no shower (just in combination with a room).
Secured parking behind the building.
Friendly, no English speaking staff.

Excellent mechanic, one of the best I met on that journey. he fixed my bike perfectly : change of ring of cylinder and some other works. perfect job and very friendly.

Nice spot next to white peak which protected us from the wind. Not far from the road. Interesting if it is muddy and slippery. 3G ok.

Nice and very quiet spot at the river under birches with a fireplace on grassland. No internet.
4WD helpful especially in rainy weather on the muddy bumpy road with one steep part.

They also have contact to some good mechanics. One amazing breakfast. And ice cold beer

Big supermarket cash and carry, looks like METRO. No fidelity card required. There is everything from fresh vegetables, European yogurts to standard tools and accessories for the car. Few European brands. More expensive than mini market but you will find everything with good quality.

It's fresh water. But, we don't know if we can drink.

Great camping for 2-3 vans near an old copper mine. Beautiful view of the ocean. 1.5 kilometre walk to a pub.

Found here new insurance company for cars. They charged 20$ for a coverage of 5000$. Its expensive compared with neighbouring countries but maybe in the future will get cheaper.

Clean hot showers, close to grocery, great for short stay.

Arrived at 22:15 on tuesday evening to cross on Wednesday.
Slept in line on the roof top tent. Pretty noisy but was ok.

Just to clarify some comments, THE LINE MATTERS, rest in line, it’s the same for trucks and cars, whatever your size.
They are filling the boat depending on the sizes so, yes, the first in line is not the first to board, but he will be the first to board for his size, don’t try to overpass the line “to be seen”, they are coming all over the line to tell the cars to come in, even in creepy weather (it was heavy rain in our case). Just stay calm, polite and wait your turn (even after a bad night 🤪)
We were far on the line and boarded at 6:30 and a car which arrived in the morning and was even farer in the line and boarded with us too.

Paid 42$ for our truck + 2 adults + 2 kids.
