There is a restaurant/cafe and a supermarket. The supermarket is open from 8-24, so you can get fresh food for dinner and breakfast :-)
There are at least 4 ATMs in front of the supermarket, a pharmacy and mobile phone shop inside. Everything you need when you just arrived from Russia to Kazakhstan.

EPIC SPOT! We parked at designated spot, and hiked about 300m to the peak, overlooking the valley. There is ample room for tent, and room for camper in main lot but no turn around options so you will need to U-turn. (Water washed road out but still room to park a few vehicles. A truck with a bit of a lift and 4x4 could make it across easily, my Honda could not.

A lot of places. At some parts the gras has been cut. Good shady birk trees. You can hear the Road but we enjoyed the atmosphere. No trash. No water around. Less Mosquitos then other spots.

Park with pond, stream, picnic area, reasonably priced restaurant, toilets, paved parking area—well maintained and clean. There may be entrance fee but no one was around to collect. We asked at the restaurant about camping and the manager showed us where to park. Very nice people here. Very quiet at night, only sound of stream. No one here at night—was mid week. Also recommend restaurant—tasty food, nice modern environment—eat inside or on terrace overlooking pond. Picnic sites are nice and grassy.

Nice quiet camp with family atmosphere and good food. It was not easy to enter narrow street with caravan.

behind a dune with small trees, separated from the road by a dry river bed. cars can be heard but apart from that quiet. no one there. to enter the river bed there is an informal ramp marked with small stone hipes, 4x4 needed, to pass the sand maybe even lower pressure.

Here is a WEBASTO specialist which does a great job and his a very helpful person.
He's name is Vadimir and he doesn't speaks English, but works well with Google Translate and the adress is Kazybaev Street Nr. 48, Almaty.
There is a blue door with a bell on it, please ring by "Webasto" and ask for Vladimir.
We paid for his work 5000 Tenge which was more than a good price.

Great food, also non-kyrgyz dishes. Most dishes between 120-160 som.

Very Italian pizza. The owner, Massimo, speaks only Italian but the guys speak good English.

Basic but new hotel with super helpful staff. Secure gated parking in front of the 24/7 reception.

Very beautiful place right at the lake with clear water. The road to the camp site is accessible with 4wd vehicles or by a 100m walk on a dirt road.

The shop is now opposite of the supermarket. MTC Sim Card for 10 days with unlimited data for 200 Rubel. In the village we have now 4G (MTC) instead of Edge (Tele2).

An absolutely good place, if you have problems with your solar system.

Supermarket inside a mall. You can find almost all you need to stock up, including vegetables and fruit.

Parking lot of mall 275 Second Line W containing Metro - grocery store, The Beer Store, LCBO, Dollarama, a postal outlet, restaurants Country Donut Shop & Dental Services. There is a Shoppers Drug Mart kitty-corner from the Mall at the lights.

In this small hotel you can take a simple shower for 150 Rubel. Entrance at the back, second floor. She also has rooms.
After the shower we asked her if we could spend the night in the parking lot. She didn't want any money.

Best option in Nukus. Stayed in a hotel the night before, and we much preferred the dorm at Besqala. Everything is nice and new and up to Western standards. Friendly guy owns it. Good breakfast.

The ATM here actually works for foreign cards. You can take out Som directly from the ATM rather than change money here. The maximum withdrawal is 200,000 Som in one transaction, but you can do multiple transactions in a row.

Quiet dirt road off the highway with semi flat grassy spots. The road follows a nice big creek for water. Lots of flowers growing here and gorgeous views. Google fi signal. Recommend it!

Very good and large workshop for all sorts of vehicles. General Dealer of Nissan and Mercedes but does Toyota and Landrover to. In my opinion the place to go if you have some problems.
Fixed our Landys Ignition in around two hours.

For webasto and climsystem. They do diagnostic for 1000 rubble and they fix and repare for more rubble (i paid 3500 rubble for diagnostic and cleaning of my webasto). Large vehicles can also enter in the garage.Good job and friendly team.

We didn't find any drinking water available outside. You can probably ask inside the truck stop.
We just had something to drink in the Cafe, the food there is looking very good and also very cheap! Nice and clean interior.
