A city employee stopped by and said there is no overnight camping in city parks. Good for free day parking though. Many of the parking lots by the harbor do not allow RV'S or campers. |

great little spot by the beach. all the amenities; laundry, showers, dump station. and all for a cheaper price than the Provincial Parks. the unserviced sites are all beachfront, we stayed in one of these. |

This road has lots of places to pull off and camp. We had a quiet. peaceful night with amazing views when we walked up to the top of the embankment. The wind here gets intense so in the morning we were woken up early by the wind whisting through some loose kayak straps. What a fantastic spot. One bar Verizon on and off. Lots of room for pups to roam, just watch out because there are sharp rocks around that could cut their paws. We saw two other RVs on our way in and we didn't go all the way to the coordinates because we liked one of the spots we saw. |

FREE public hot spring!! This is the coolest place we have found in almost 6 months of full-time travelling. A true desert oasis. We spotted the giant palm tree first and then when we parked and walked up, we found the cutest little hot spring pool. I don't know who made this, but I thank them. It's a concrete pool with continuous warm/hot water flowing in. a bit of algae on the walls, but otherwise smelled and looked clean. As with all warm fresh water I didn't immerse my head and I wouldn't go in if I had an open wound. We came on a Thursday mid-day and had the place to ourselves. The temperature was perfection here at the end of September. No Verizon signal. Surrounding desert area good for dogs. |

Really pleasant public park with toilets, tons of picnic tables and shade, a dog park, walking trails, and even open river areas for water sports like wakeboarding. Also has fast public wifi. Good spot to spend the day working or relaxing. Easily one of the most well kept and welcoming public parks I’ve been to. |

We decided to stay here as we were out of water and tanks full and it was getting late. Campground was almost FULL which was surprising to us this time of year. Tip: if you are passing through you can use the day use stations on the left of the fork (campground on the right of the fork) where they have fresh water stations and fish cleaning stations to fill up. There is absolutely NO overnight locations around the dunes in said day use stations, and it is patrolled by rangers. Keep driving 3 miles from the fork and you’ll hit the lighthouse, which looked like a wonderful paved bike ride if you decided to camp here overnight. Same day reservations are NOT possible, so it’s a good idea to call ahead and see how many spots they have available here before showing up. We pod $30 for a full hookup and are still new to the glamping world with our slide in camper. Did you know that a full hookup means you can drain your black water tank directly from your campsite? Who knew?? We didn’t!!! Enjoy your stay and keep our forests green people 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 |

There is a new camp site directly at the river from trakker dogs. At the moment this is more a wild camp without any toilet or water, but they will build absolution soon. They also offer Mokoro Trips. We paid 250 Pula ppn. This point is the entry where you have to drive left to the Mokoro station and the guys will bring you to the camp site in the bush. See the picture for contact details. |

Had just lunch here, but it is apparently used for camping. Many firepits. Might be high frequented in summer. No facilitys. You do not need 4x4 or a good clearance. |

It is the parking lot of the City Hall of Buzios. Slanted and flat parking, seven meters long, cars bigger than that will be in the middle of the street. Quiet and silent location. Apparently there is a security guard for the entire period. No facilities. |

Perfect for one night before heading further into the country. It's a quiet backroad with a few possible camp spots on the right and left, found it in the dark but still liked it in daytime. In the morning a shepherd and a guy with a tractor passed but that's it. |

The access to the camp is extreme low range first gear 4x4, rocky inclines, steep declines and a river crossing. A stock vehicle probably shouldn’t come alone. Not for the faint hearted. BUT the reward is immense! What an incredible location, surrounded by the Chimanimani mountains, close to a lot of trails, incredible bird life, absolutely spectacular. There are no facilities except a non flush toilet. The sites are basically just a cleared section of forest floor. Water can be fetched for you in a bucket from the river, it tasted perfect to me but I’m not super fussy. Certainly ok to cook with. No power, no cell signal, isolated. The camp manager Mathew was an absolute legend and took great care of me. He’s no spring chicken though so hopefully he is around for years to come. |

The overnight permits are now bought through an app. The cell phone reception is very spotty around the lot itself, but you can walk in the centre's entrance and get wi-fi if needed. To buy your night's parking, look in the "permits" section of the app instead of the "park" one. |
