A day spot just off the highway. No overnight parking signs so we stayed. It’s a little messy some garbage and yes road noise didn’t bother us at all. Windy yes ..didn’t bother us either. Would stay here again!

Pullout/ rest stop by a little lake with garbages, picnic table and a map. No no signs. Hwy traffic noises that are quieter at night. Good cell service

You can drive directly through, just need to stop where the man with the yellow safety vest stands. He'll check the document of the car and tells you where to go next.
No need to go inside the office.

Nice area in the woods under Long-Leaf Pines, lots of room, easy access.
The best spot is for a small vehicle on the peninsula in the middle of the pond, high and dry on sandy soil. 2 ways to get there, one narrow trail from the main area and another one through the Base camp Donut. 4x4 recommended for that one, the others are 2x4. The songs of frogs and alligators lull you to sleep, the songs of the birds wake you up, very peaceful. Ok cell service.
Be aware of the occasional Poison Ivy growing along the shore.

Just before crossing a little creek, there is a nice flat space with a rock fire ring set low among the hills. It was a great spot to get out of the wind. Drive another 1-2 miles past the Badlands camp. The road is pretty easy to navigate in 2WD with a few bumps, but nothing major. All the Meadowlarks sang their songs in the morning. Arrived after 8pm and left before 9am. I wouldn't bring anything longer than a 25 ft vehicle, even more so in wet conditions.

1 bar verizon with decent throughput. 10/10 would stay again!

Got my full service laundry here. They charge 9000 pesos per kilo. Drop off and pick up the next day. you cannot do it yourself. Little expensive but great service

Our 2nd visit here. Hasn’t changed in a year aside from being more spring-like. Nice to see leaves on the trees and enjoy the shade.
There is garbage around, the wind carries it off into the trees with the dried leaves. Please don’t leave your garbage in the firepits people! No fires means it will not be burned. Let’s all do a bit more so we can keep using this location for free.

Very nice, full-service RV park. Bathrooms are clean and showers work well. Right on the river and adjacent to a beautiful farm field. Owners are friendly. Some road noise but quiet at night. Incredible birdsong in the morning! RV sites are close together while tent sites have more room and are near the river. RV sites have full hookups and are somewhat pricey at $50.

There's a very convenient water spigot & long hose attached to the small building. I asked inside and they said it was ok to fill up my water tank. Plus they have 1 of the best diesel prices in town.

quiet clean little park with portable potties. also coastal trail access park near the ball fields. They do lock the gate at night, which the police man just told me. They reopen the gate in the morning, but the cop wasn't sure what time. He told me there was no problem with me staying here. I've stayed here 3 times and this is the 1st time I've seen the police at all.

This spot is easy accessible for cars with rooftop tent. Rocky surface and uneven , so a tent would be a challenge.

The spot is on the track in a corner which is quite leveled and sheltered from the wind. There is enough room to sit and even for a tractor to pass if needed .

This is a parking area. Large enough for any size rig. There are no amenities. No Verizon signal. No signs against overnight parking.

A camperplaats surrounded by green fields for campervans and camping. At least a dozen van bays for vans 7m and less.

this is a great place to stay , it had a large garden for camping or a few beds if you want a rest. Margot is very welcome and her husband (speaks English) is a guide, so they can answer all your questions about what there is see and know in and around Cusco.

Now there is a sign to prohibition 🚫 in this place. So we go just next to the river on gravel. Police came and nobody said something

Great place for a drinking water for Rvs

Very comfortable and clean hotel with sacured gated parking for my motorcycle and cars/vans. 1100 TL (35 USD). Excellent free breakfast. Restaurant on site. I needed shelter from heavy winds and a storm, and this hotel was perfect. Electric kettle with tea/coffee, fridge, hair drier, hot showers. Central AC/heater. Good wifi.
