Ten ramadas, all with tables and fire rings. Can't camp on the beach - they need the space for taking out / putting in rafts. You can't see the River from the campground but you can hear the Rapid.

With the permit you are actually buying their Permission to Trespass on Tribal Lands - a nice turn of phrase, we thought.

Four Port-A-Poopers, stocked and cleanish.

Most of the visitors to Diamond Creek Beach are Day Use - enjoying the experience of driving to the bottom of the Canyon. There were 2 others camped for the night. A good stay.

Free RV dump. There are signs at the gate saying “authorized personal only”, that made us leery about entering but we drove in and talked to someone who directed us where to go…after entering the gate go STRAIGHT, do not turn right It is NOT clearly marked near the gate but once you go straight down and get to the first right hand corner you will start to see the tiniest little signs that say “RV”…. follow the “RV” signs.

Nice Pullout with privacy from the road. The spot before this one on IOverlander has a nice view but it's very exposed and there's lots of glass. I found this one just a little bit up the road and it's fairly level and big enough for a big rig. Freeman road is a dream dirt road -very well maintained, recently graded, and wide. I did pick up an entire bag full of trash. Starting to think Arizona peeps just don't give a hoot about their own free land. Lots of trails around but not much for shade. Either way, I would recommend this spot for multiple nights. 5G 2 bars AT&T

We stayed at this hostel for four nights. It is one of the best hostels we have stayed at. It's very clean and tidy. You are provided with towels, toothpaste, shampoo and soap. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He took delivery of some packages for us before we arrived and put them in our room ready for us upon arrival. A very good breakfast is included with the stay which has a good variety of choices. We parked our motorcycles in the secure front area. 100% recommended this place to stay.
50000 CLP per night for 2 people.

amazing view of the volcano, it was easy to get here, there is a lot of open space to park, it is not raining so we had no problem staying here. Very calm even on weekends, at least until Saturday lunch time. We notice a lot of ants, really a lot, and they bite so that was kind of annoying, but still worth the view!!

There are probably about 10 spots here. 3 are big rig friendly, the others are best for 26'-28' class C or tent/car camping.
Non are completely level but easy to get close to level with a few leveling blocks.
We pulled in today (Saturday) about noon and are the only ones here. There are plenty of trees for shade and sunny spots for a solar suitcase.

Great place to fill up water jugs. The hose disappeared but there is now a funnel attached to the faucet to help in the process.

Exact same happened to us today. We drove by without lights on (stupid), had to pull over and show our drivers license and papers of the rental. He pointed out the lights and told us we would get a fine (I believe he said 45$). Had to pay in cash but we told him we didnt have cash. He said we had to go to Juyjuy to pay at the police station there. We played dumb and kept saying we did not speak Spanish and did not understand him. In the end he let us go. Many other cars passed without lights on so it seems like he only picks out tourists.

big, relatively level site with expansive views. no problem for our 39 ft motorhome. Just past Hamburger Rock, but out of view of the campground over a rise.

Quiet place, some locals take a sunset stroll, that’s it. Some campervans came very close to our vehicle and we could listen to their music for free 🙈 , but the place is nearly 1km long so if they get too close, you can always find a quiet spot. :-)

Could get impossible to access once the new highway is completed, so count on it only when driving to Tan-Tan, not when driving to Agadir.

Water spigot by the restroom that's beside the boat launch. works perfect. There's also a water spigot in each Campground Loop near each restroom if that one is inaccessible due to somebody parking in the way.
