When we went to park in the lot with several cars and RVs, we noticed that there was a No Overnight Parking sign at the entrance. We did not stay because the last review for this place was in 2021. If anyone stays after this, please update.

Stayed here during the day to take a shower with my camp shower and make dinner. No one came and bothered me, but with the comments from the fish and game guy on the other nearby sites I wasn't willing to risk staying here overnight. however I HIGHLY doubt they are going to drive all the way down this dead end road to check for campers every night. but there is no way of knowing.

also it does not go all the way through to town anymore, the road ded ends in a pile of dirt on a slope to steep sideways to drive on.

Dump is now 10$. Potable water is 5$. Please do not try to take water without paying as the guy from the campground was asking very politely that we share the update that it’s no longer free.

this place is well worth the short drive and walk to get to.

we spent the last couple nights here while exploring the area. there were no issues and it was quiet.

Privately owned parking lot in the downtown core. Paid 19 $ till 6 AM (max option).
Able to enjoy the downtown, nice dinner, quiet night. We left at 8 AM, no one bothered us.

Very good home made breads and pastries!
The baguette (19 MXN) and bread is crispy and extremely tasty.

The prices are reasonable as well and you can also buy discounted stuff from the previous day.

Furthermore, they sell a lot of unpacked stuff per weight, like different kind of flours or nuts.

Do you like cheese or home made yogurt or ice cream? Then this is your place to be!

The prices are extremely fair, for example 40MXN for 1kg yogurt and they offer a wide range of different kinds of cheese.

Next door you will find a good grocery store with fresh fruits and vegetables as well. Enjoy and treat yoursel!

Corp of Engineers Campground that is no longer a campground. It is on lake Lanier & almost all of the sites are on the water! I’ve 30 have electric and water at the site, and about 20 have no electric/water! The “sites” are $15 per day and are available 8am-8pm. They are only open during the summer months and only on the weekends. But it’s a GREAT price to charge the batteries, fill up your water, and trash! Bathouses are available with running toilets and hot showers. 30amp sites and threaded water faucet. Lots of sites have little private beaches. Excellent deal!

You can use their bathroom against a small tip and they also offer a warm plus super clean shower for 50 MXN. They even provided me a fresh towel! Very friendly people and good please to get fresh.

Perfect spot for smaller vans! The entrance is tight but driving in backwards we had no issues at all with our Renault Master.

The owners are very sweet and beside the parking lot they offer a clean toilet, water faucet and a power socket. But DO NOT DRINK THE WATER - check warning in iOverlander! In addition, all parking lots are covered so that you can sit outside although it rains.

Normally, the gate is open from 9am to 9pm which means it is a very safe place and totally quiet at night. If you stay longer, they will give you a key so that you are free to leave whenever you want.

It is very close to the pedestrian street with all the restaurants and bars. Also a few laundries are in short walking distance.

There is a very good bakery and grocery store round the next corner, plus a co-working space called “trece cielos” next door. They provide nice and calm working spaces and very fast WiFi. And once you know their password, it reaches out to your parking lot as well.

And, last but not least, beside the co-working place is a hostel, directly at the corner of the street, where you can find hot showers for 50MXN (see pictures).

What else do you need? For us it was the perfect place and they only charge 120MXN per day or 450MXN for a week.

Dump station still working. There is also water right next to the dump hole but saying "Danger. Non potable water." ...
hmm... "Danger" might be a bit exagerated but it's obviously notdrinking water quality. But we don't drink the fresh water from the tank on board our RV anyway.

Great beachside location with a small park, toilets and level parking. Some were renting as well. Quiet at night with little traffic.

Nice hostal. It’s has secure parking for motorcycles. For cars, parking is possible in front of hostel with security camera, but it’s outside the compound.

Room are charged per person. 90,000 guaranies/person. They have more than 1 beds but no problem to get a room all by yourself. Private bathroom with electric shower. A/C included in the price.

Was looking forward to checking out this place but there was construction being done and a sign that read “Road Closed”.

Since today is a rainy day, we used this day as a laundry day for laundry. I have to say that I have already used clean and cheaper laundromats. But as I said, it was a rainy day

Exactly as described- large parking lot- filled out the security form and parked over by the highway.

We arrived here today. The hotel is closed. A neighbour (Jamie) approached us and guided us to a different place. He said the hotel is more than 80 years old and under maintenance since 6 months. No idea if and when it will be re-opened.
