Nice tea plantation villa with big garden to camp in. Toilet and shower (only cold water) was okay. WiFi very good.

nice place. joggers pass by early in the morning but it's very quiet.
police stopped by in the evening but they didn't tell us anything so I suppose it's not a big deal to overnight here.

This place is such a treasure for an overnight stay. Right by the water and a convenient stop.

We were warmly greeted by James, who provided us with a copy of the rules. The rules are very reasonable, and what a courteous overlander would do anyway.

I wish that more places would extend this kindness and guidance to travelers rather than simply outlawing camping when a few people cause problems.

Getting here is best by turning down the road with the colorful pillar by the side of the road. Its a few km out of the city just before you see a cemetary. The road is a bit tricky at parts especially one very short steep section. We were fine with our Jimny. The beach is nice and quiet. It was raining when we got here so didn’t stay long but probably it’s nice place when the weather is better.

If the GPS location is correct it is a very muddy trail with ruts that leads down to it, so accès by 4x4,motorbikes bicyles.

Very nice spot next to the lake down is lots of grass and even a fire pit. Up is a paved parking lot. Had to share with 4 campers, place seems to be popular.

At the rim of the creek to lake Yashikul with amazing view. Many places like this towards the lake. Yaks at the meadow down at the right.
ATTENTION: In the late morning a car came, made pictures of us and charged the entrance fee for the national park, 108 Som per person and car.
For us the place was it worth.

The only ATM out of 20 i’ve tried to both accept Mastercard and not be empty on a Saturday at 11am.

Be aware: the spot is close to the conservatory which is on the other side of the river. A lion pride lives very close by. In sunset time we saw them hunting down a zebra and a big group of hyenas joint them eating the zebra.
You can also see other game, like zebra, giraffes etc

We stayed next to the river, no people around. Just the shepherds come with their cattle from midday to sunset.

Internet signal available, you can hear the road a little bit.

This is an alternative to the route more to the East (also described in iOverlander). Road condition is a bit better than the other one (less holes), high clearance necessary. It took us 2,5h until the cliff - ~90km.
Be aware that conditions change a lot if it rains.

FYI — From the Forest Service website, “The road to Last Chance Campground (Goose Creek Road-50453) will be closed near Highway 55 beginning July 8, and will be closed into October. The campground will be closed during the road closure and bridge construction project.”

Nice location with grass & hard standing sites and some trees to pitch tents under. Showers & toilets on the basic side and insufficient in number if there were more than say 50 visitors. Electric hookups and taps at a few spots. Old building with leaky thatch roof serves as pub and snug. Basic kitchen with just sink, microwave & kettle. At €30 pn for a stand it's expensive but is the only campsite we found in this area.

Bright lighting in the lot. Plenty of parking for regular size vehicles such as my camper van. A little more limited on parking for the giant Sprinters and up.

Walk-ins welcome no need to pre book. If you see a waiting barge go for it don't get stuck in a line that goes nowhere

Great place to spend the night. Signed in at casino reception (they will take your contact and RV details and date you arrive and plan to leave). Large paved, and brightly lit parking Lot in front of the Casino, one end will have "RV parking only" signs. We spent 2 nights in our 39 foot trailer, along with 3 other large RVs, without issues. some noise as there's people that come and go and the occasional train. Washrooms and a restaurant in the Casino.

Nice place with a beautiful stream. Even some cave cambers in the cliff on the other side.

Unfortunately a lot of trash so bring some trashing to clean a little.

very cosy place! it is a garden behind a private house. the shower and toilet is very clean.there's a sink to wash dishes. The owner speaks english, with his nice parents just use Google translater...no problem. the owners are very welcoming and helpfull!! A great place to stay some time and just relax!

Perfect place at the beach! You can drive to the beach and park at a tree with even some benches. Weather was very windy with rain so we didn’t stay for the night but would have loved to

Did not see any signs (I actively looked). I went inside and asked Customer Service if this Walmart allows Overnight Parking. She Immediately and without qualification said "Yes, just park out of the way at the top of the lot."
Quiet, clean, felt safe, would stay again.

Great night. The last steep rocky road too slippery so we stayed right before it. Had two neighbors. Quiet, safe, gorgeous view. I had two bars Verizon.

if you leave Darbas to the north there is a little unpaved path in a hair pin turn on the left that goes up the mountain. Road is a little rough but doable in any (small) vehicle. On top of the mountain there are some fields an a little abandoned electrical hut, I parked next to it. Beautiful views and good connections

Very good hidden spot with jungle and lot of birds !

A fairly large square with ancient tall trees. We arrived on Friday noon and it was empty. From 3 p.m. it got very crowded, loud party music with terrible bass in this wonderful nature. We drove away and came back at 8:30 p.m., only 2 anglers still there. The night is dark and quiet. Anglers are always approached in the night. Howler monkeys and birds at 5:30 in the morning. In the river are alligators and crocodiles, not bathing. On weekends Party place on normal thuesday quite. We stay 6 nights, mosquitos and hot

Stayed here one night, joined by a few other camper vans. Ground is a little uneven in spots but otherwise no issue - we found it nice and quiet.
