great place to stay for a few days. private secluded places, but not that great for solar or starlink. clean toilettes, free paddle boats, and an excellent chance to feed mosquitoes.

USFS marked dispersed site. Room for 3-4 rigs. 2 bars Verizon service. Saw a couple of SUV's, not recommend for lower clearance vehicle. Room at site for bigger rig, but needs high clearance.

gun shots everywhere...... so you won't get quiet, it's a beautiful place with plenty of spots but it's just gun fire city in this area. a plus is the first night we saw the Milky Way

Juan helped us a lot. He is a very versatile and honest guy. He knows where to find, and how to fix most things He helped us install a Starlink. He found a 12V fridge for us, as ours had died. He modified the area so that the new fridge could fit. He installed a kill-switch for our main battery. He replaced our cabinets' locks. He went with us into Bogota to find several things we needed.
All this with a caring, friendly and patient attitude. He had a great disposition to listen to our needs and to get it right.
Totally recommended.

Our car is 3,85m high. No problems to enter. One worker was here. We payed 30 Soles (15pp). In the evening another guy came and asked, if we had payed the 30 Soles for the mascota. I said „we payed in cash to the worker“. He left but didn’t bring us the receipt. All kind of weird. But very quiet night. No other issues. We filled our water tanks without asking.

Now they own about 10 dogs that where barking constantly in the night.

11 washing machines (3$) and 5 dryer (5min = 0,25$). This Laundromat is a little bit messy but it worked. No money changing machine available.

Goo gas station for a quick stop. A nice guy (Matteo) offered us showers and bathrooms. Clean with TP. He even brought us bananas. Really welcoming. He said other travelers are welcome to sleep here.

No Super gas here (95 octane), just Extra (85) and diesel.

For an official free camp site, wow, (very) bad pitches, but one is not too bad, but complicated with a bike. Good 4G. Sightly noisy (water and road). In front of the sun in the evening and on the morning. Few flies. Fresh water, beach, payed toilets, cold shower. Leave the place clean!

Taking the slightly uphill road, you will find the first car park on the left.
Quiet campsite near the old pyramid (now a church from the Spanish period) and a very big Sport park.
Ample parking, WC (no showers and hot water) and a corner for any kitchen. $150 MXP per night. Very kind and friendly manager.
A short distance away, near McDonald's you can take the bus to the center of Puebla for only $10 pesos per person.

I have been able to enter and get a shower for free in the changing room. It was open showers, but I was alone.

We stayed here before crossing the border. It's a parking at a cemetery a bit away from the road but not completely out of sight.
There is also a basic toilet here.
No mobile signal.

A local on a motorbike came by in the evening to chat. He seemed to be okay with us staying here for the night.

Wake up on the beach with a peaceful water view. Spacious enough for small & medium size rigs/camper vans.

There are no signs that stated no overnight but I was the only one in the lot by 11PM. A few locals would drive in, park by the water then leave shortly after.
I did attach a photo of the only signs I did see besides handicap.

There are porta potties, and garbage bins to dispose of waste.

For families with kids, there is a playground and full access to the beach.

Natural salt water baths and wellness centre. This town used to be a salt production place. Ow the hyper salty water table is only still used for the baths. They have a spa, massage, sauna, hammam, swimming pools, hydro massage.
Well worth the €16 for a relaxing afternoon.

Over 10 centuries of salt extraction can be seen in this old salt evaporation and conditioning plant from the 10th century. Well worth the visit!

no parking or stopping on this side of street and there is a sign that says you can't pull up onto the sidewalk. this would require you to rub a house across the street (assuming you had one long enough).

Big souq with all you need lokal vegetables and fruits

Got the room on the ground floor with one big bed and one small bed, with private bathroom for 30 soles (I'm solo). Brought the bicycle into the room which is always better for security. As the previous comment says, not the cleanest but not like mold everywhere. Saw the other rooms upstairs with shared bathrooms but didn't look good. The old lady was super nice, gave me 3 soaps and a brand new towel. Wifi worked great. There was quite a bit of traffic noise even during the night. I had to wear earplugs.

good spot for big RV right off entry from paved road, good views, good cellular. additional spots down gravel/dirt road for other vehicles able to take a few bumps in road
