This is a great spot for camping. It is a big clearing that serves as a trailhead for the Palmetto trail. There are no facilities except for a small pavilion.

Very nice place hidden in the forest. The road leads to shooting range (find photos attached) but the shooters didn't bother us. Highway noise is quiet and somehow calm you down - like the evening sea.

Hermoso lugar, vi e por la noche y me quedé 3 días, muy tranquilo y lindo, con río y del otro lado el lago a 2 km. Un paraíso, realmente te atrapa el lugar, especial ymuy accesible para bicicletas y autos motorhome y mochileros.

Access to El Mirador trekking. Small walk to 2 nice miradors, ~1h up. 3000$pp, quite easy. From the Mirador you’ll have a nice view over the valley, rivers and of course many glaciers and mountains. If you want you can hike after the Mirador in the mountain but there is no indication. Recommended if you can’t see glaciers, but only in sunny days...

Great place! Well sheltered from wind but not really from rain. Can get a bit cold during the night. You can see and hear road through the little forest but nobody can see you. Good option for one night but you’re really isolated between woods and mountain

Good craft beers : oatmeal porter, American wheat, and American pale ale, 3500$ for a pint. We also tried their “tablas” to share, a bit expensive but not bad. Nice terrace to enjoy the sun and the beers.

lovely little place. peaceful. porto potties here. however the police woke me up at midnight, but let me stay for the evening.

Restaurant, water, free hot shower. Little noisy, but safe place to stay overnight. Free slow wify.

He is a very helpful and smart guy and can help you with your VW! He has a VW Kombi (T2) and loves Volkswagen busses! At the moment we are traveling with a VW T5 and he did a great job on it (oil change, front axle changed, intercooler repaired, diesel filter changed, brakes). Very fair price for his work! alone with the very friendly and helpful ranger, inside the park, toilets at 50 meters. perfectly quiet and safe.

Great place in a large privat park with 2 dams running as a family holiday farm with many activities. Grassy campsites with large trees. Price 175 R pps.

Camped in the driveway for two nights. Prices listed below. Awesome place and restaurant. But noisy all night with truck traffic since parking is right next to street.

Seems to only be open on Sunday. Tried to go on a Thursday at 7pm and it was closed

Very nice spot, secluded between apartment buildings and almost zero noise. There is a nice park (no overnight parking) with toilets and cold showers a short walk down the beach.

Parking du parc Dona Lindu, Wc du parc ouvert de 6h30 à 21h30, bonne Wifi libre. Tranquille la nuit. Nous y avons passé 3 nuits sans problème.

Nice camping, 15 reais pp (March), close to beautiful beaches (1,5 km approx), with simple but cleans amenities : man / women shower, shelter with BBQ, freezer, hot water,.... big grassy campground can receive big rigs (Close to Parque National Itapeva, but it is not open for tourist, only scientific investigation), sympathic owner lives here, so open off season, if not, door uses to be opened ! a really good option as very few campings in the area...Access road regular but no problem for 2WD.

Lots of work going on here so no longer possible to camp.

It's actually called Eagles Rest and it's exactly described right $190 pp st he campsite wich is beautiful and quit , great waterhole not far and many animals to see during the day !
Very friendly stuff , is a pool and a restaurant with breakfast , Lunch and Diner Menu ( order in the afternoon)
Cuisine is very delicious and wifi is good and free !
I liked it very much and can recommend it one of the best places we have camped

Free, noisey, safe.. Place to sleep I needed central parking for mechanics access and dog walking.. ok for 1night and no other IO entry's

Municipality Eco park with big laguna - swimmable, palm trees, pontoon and small beach. Toilets - were closed - and barbecue area. Big flat parking area. Nobody there when we came but should be busy on week ends. Walking trails around the lagoon . Very nice and peaceful . From the main road about 3 km on a good dirt road.

Just an official parking spot next to the beach right beside the road. No wind shelter. No facilities. On the other side of the road there's some buildings with a generator running. It got turned off during the night.

If you're lucky you can see some dolphins and even whales very near to the beach.

2 USD every morning. Safe overnight. Restrooms in the park open until 6pm ($15cents). Also there is a shop with bathroom open until 8pm, next to the police ($25cents). Fill up tank water out the station police(UPC)

- buy coffee beans or grounded for 250 gr for 12.000 or 500gr for 20.000 cop. no discount if you buy more.
we were allowed to stay overnight, walk around except the house when closed. natural water, wifi. brewery only sells beer por 30 bottles each 300ml for 117.000cop and 24.000cop deposit. baños at the cafeteria. very pleasant surrounding. quiet at night except wild life. no claro reception. the parking itself has space for big rigs, but the road up to here is not recommendable at the moment.
