Quiet village. No facilities when Lidl is closed.

Great place near to the river. gravel ground. In the morning and evenig people are fishing and swimming here. Mobile connection LTE with beeline. Accessible with big rigs and 2W campers.

Nice sandy beach spot on the river. Has shelter with a firepit. Sweden is on the other side of the River.

We registered and extended our permit to stay for 29 more days here. As german citizens we had 30days visa free. We had the wrong information that we have to register within the first seven days, but this was not a question at all. We already stayed 20 days and could extend without a problem. Quick procedure, we paid 102600 MNT each, plus 1000 MNT administration fee. AND it‘s not necessary to come again to the office before leaving the country!!!

100$ in dollars for European passports + 2 photos, 400.000 Le for 1 month passavant (bike), applied on Friday, took the passport with the visa Monday morning, kind staff, the secretary speaks also Italian :)

Huge service with a good reputation (see comments on Google). We changed our timing belt here and other parts (water pump, other belts, etc). Total cost 5000 for parts and 3500 for work.
One of the employees speaks perfect English.
There is a proper waiting room with WiFi and AC.

EDIT: the mechanic didn't change the camcover gasket and put silicone instead. it was leaking and making black smoke after 300km. The main job is still well done and it's cheap so I would come back but I would stay behind the mechanic next time.

Very quiet and peaceful hostel with good flat parking away from the street. It’s pretty new and very modern and clean. The parking and entrance to the hostel (on the third floor) is at the back of the building and not on the main road. At night there are barriers down. We slept in the car and paid 100 each for a shower including clean towels! We were also welcome to use kitchen and tea and coffee. A very quiet little place to get some rest

process is much easier than going from la Ceiba to roatan. when you get to the terminal head to the left side of the building. it is the loading area for luggage. there is a window there where you can buy the ticket for the motorcycle. they asked for a photocopy of bike registration. but where happy to copy it for you.
ride the bike on the boat and then go back around and buy a ticket yourselves in the main terminal.

Nice place to spend the day, during the night it is very lonely, dark and does not feel safe, we prefer to sleep in front of the police 400 meters away.

Quiet place to camp, the track there is solid so also ok in rainy season. There is lots of space, you can pick a spot.

You can try to full your bottle here. Very nice man with a lot of adapters. We filled a 3,5 kilos bottle from argentina. 25000 guaranies.

Free, flat, clean and very calm little parking area 200m from the rear entrance to Birkenau. There is a “dry” toilet hidden in the bushes of the playground across the street. Another modern toilet block inside the park (first track to the left) 3min walk away. Some tips for visiting the Auswitz camps from this location: Birkenau camp is free and you can just walk in but need to respect visiting hours (see attached photo). Free shuttle busses run between Birkenau and Auswitz 1, but first buses FROM Birkenau only start at 10am. Walking from campspot to auswitz1 takes 20min(trough Birkenau). Auswitz 1 is free too, but you need a ticket and there are only a limited amount of tickets dispensed every hour. Come early to avoid (very) long queues. Only tiny backpacks are allowed in auswitz1(see photo), there is a luggage room(4zloty)

Small modern clean hotel with friendly staff about 2 miles from the LR Dealer where we left our landy whilst waiting for spare parts.

Parking lot of the mine/river. Beautiful spot in the forest by a river. Locals come to swim and drink on weekends but probably leave at the end of the day. Close to the road but zero traffic during the night. No facilities.

Could probably fit a big rig, road in is partially unpaved and narrow but not steep.

If you drive up the gravel track, you can keep going up to a flat spot by a beautiful waterfall. Coordinates are 45.583159, 24.642995. All you hear is the sound of the rushing water. However, it’s not particularly private because you are not hidden from the road and because people hike up to take photos of the waterfall.

Nice place to stay. Quite a lot of people staying here in camper vans at this time.
Toilets are open until 21.

This is a new Hostel/Camping owned by Carlos who used to be the administrator of the Colibri down the road. He is extremely helpful and speaks English. Great place to leave your rig while visiting the Galapagos or if going home. He only charges $1/day for long term parking or $10 when you’re staying. He also offers airport transfers. Highly recommended.

they didn't repair my small crack. they only give my a list from other window repairs in town. so I visit the "tent" in town center near the shoppers drug Mart parking place.
