great camp site/RV park. excellent toilets and showers, like a hotel bathroom. all the staff are friendly and helpful, good wifi, great pool and the site is kept amazingly clean. bus to el Centro La Paz outside gate, 10mps per person into city centre, about 30 mins via Walmart and the big stores shopping area. ask anything of the staff they have maps and very good local knowledge.

As described, but is very busy with people living in their cars. We drove in around 6pm, passed many full pullouts, until arriving here. There were two other vehicles when we arrived, and at least 6 by 11pm. Most were gone by 7am.

Nice place you will reach after 90 km. The gravel road is good and easy to drive and pretty nice all the way along.
Very quiet. From this place, you can walk the last km and continue by foot. On clear day, you can see at the far end on south, the Islands of the Horn NP.

Clean bathrooms. They also have showers but we didn’t asked about that.

We’ve travelled a lot through South America and in particular Argentina. This place is worth the money in our view (For this region). Would come here anytime again. Close to town so that you can walk there. All safe and very relaxed. Facilities are what you would expect in this country but clean.

Wonderful place to stay. Chef also helped us with a local mechanic to weld our tow bar back into place.

nice hotel with a private beach run by "brothers of chairty" so part of the money is going for schools, hospitals etc.
we slept in a private room with private toilet and shower. there is small balcony and nice places to sit.
the beach is beautiful, lots of coconuts palms. there is resturant and bar in the place.
we didnt't ask but I think it might be fine to camp in the parking lot or on the beach.
cost 50,000 shilings per night

Perfect place for acclimatization because of the height of 3000m. Access road had a very short, steep muddy section right at the beginning. This comes from a natural source, not from rain. Once passed this point, the next few kilometers are easy driving into the valley with several overnight opportunities. We did a nice easy(!) acclimatization walk along the road with nice scenery.

RUM: Here you stand very well and safely on solid concrete floor. Especially for large cars highly recommended. Gate height ... at least 6m. Stand charge 10 sol and the warm shower 3 Sol p.P. A double room costs 30 Sol. Everything is clean. Who is dependent on the toilet, will probably need to rent a room.

Here's a guy who looks after overlanders. Great service, fair prices and a nice guy, to boot. Sorted our 80 Series out with an oil change (15w40 Total synthetic); Toyota oil filter; found us a fuel filler cap; replaced leaking seal on front diff/transfer shaft; replaced brake pads (I provided these); topped up fluids (I provided these); general check-over. Friendly staff, central location. Thanks, Worku!

Free parking behind Treasure Island in a multi-storey parkade. Enter Treasure Island complex by turning right off of Spring Mountain road on the last right before you hit the Vegas Strip (aka Las Vegas Blvd.). I believe the road is called Mel Tourmey. The ramp up to the parkade is on your right, and spots for "oversized" vehicles is immediately on your right at the top of the ramp, 2nd floor. Good for camper vans, but anything taller may not fit. Alternatively, you can Enter the TI complex from Las Vegas Blvd, and follow signs for "self-parking". No charge, no parking attendants. We parked four nights without issue. Of course, TI has bathrooms, coffee shops, restaurants, water, etc.

Safe place to store your car. Good place to park the car for a long time. But the camping is terrible . no shadow and no privacy. The owners are rude and very angry people. just leave your car and run away.

Beautiful South Carolina State Park with two grounds, one just feet from the Atlantic Ocean. A sand dune protects the park abd you can hear the roar of the ocean waves all the time. As you might expect pricing is commensurate with the beach location. One of South Carolina's most popular state parks.

Really nice homestay well located in Shiraz. Mehrane and Mahmoud (who speak really good english) will welcome you warmly and will provide all the help you need. They also can cook locals meals or be a guide for Persepolis. We spent 4 nights and it was a real pleasure to discuss and discover the Iranian way of life with them. We put our motorbikes in a private outdoor parking. Possible for cars as well.
7,5 € /night/p with (good) breakfast. Shared bathroom.

Its not really cheap but worth it!

We found this place very randomly but are so glad we did. It is a beautiful hidden spot away from the road but close to a watering hole. We woke up to find elephants, zebras, wart hogs and giraffes roaming the hills around us. There is a lodge up on one of the hills in the distance however we parked behind some high trees to make us a little less visible. It seems this area is used by the loge as there were a few safari cars that we saw in the distance coming and going from the lodge.

It was like we were sleeping in a national park but without the cost.

Beautiful campsite with great hot showers and clean facilities. Once we arrived someone came and started the fire for us under the water tank so we could have hot showers and also prepared the fire pit for us with extra wood.

The price has increased to 1000 KES per person and note they only accept payment for camping by card. The beers are 200 KES and we had an amazing breakfast in the morning.

Highly reccommend this place!
