Good place for camping... although they moved us three times and couldn’t quite understand a roof top tent. They wanted us to park in one place and sleep in another. Eventually worked it out but frustrating to start with! Clean toilets and bucket showers that are free to use. There are open outdoor showers that aren’t bucket but you risk being seen I guess. We paid 200 per person for park entry and 30 per person for camping but it was worth it, the ticket got us in to a number of caves and we could have stayed for a couple of days

Loads of campervans here as it’s advertised as such. There’s a dump and water in the small lot across the road (where the photo is taken). Less than ten minutes off the A11 on big roads. Big playground in the park next to the lot. We just used it as an overnight so not sure about convenience to town.

On the way to the Canaa Refugio, there is a bridge which we didn‘t trust for our 18 t, so we turned around and stayed at that place (approx. 2 km before the bridge). The bridge was built like a thousands we passed, but with missig blanks and very old carrier. Very calm with a lot of nature noises and birds. Good overnight place in the forest.

Okay for a night, expensive for what you get. We got caught late in a big storm so we ended up here. Basic bathrooms in the field where you park, women's were filthy and the men's clean. Lots of road noise at night, a crew started construction work at 7am the next morning. WiFi barely reached the van. S/30 for the night without showers.

Constanza was friendly and nice. Had a quiet spot near their house. Received electricity by extension cable. We even partied with them and their friends around the fire.

Big shrine devoted to San Simon. Shops to buy candles, souvenirs, beer, some food. Looks like they can have big fires in front of the church, there are hundreds of thankful plaques inside, pictures of some Christian saints as well. Large parking lot right in front of it. Interesting.

Great small and cute joint that serves burgers, chorizo (hotdog) sandwiches and Colombian steaks. They also offer vegetarian options. Walking distance from Al Bosque. Affordable 30 pesos for 2 meals, juice and a beer 👍🏼

This pool is free during the winter and has warm showers. Winter dates are posted online if you Google Deep Eddy Pool. Generally late October to late March. Opens at 9am. Shower area doesn't have a roof so if it's raining the main shower area will be getting wet. Showers and changing stalls themselves are covered.

We first went to lake front but there were too many bugs! (maybe time of year?). We came here instead but the road down to mirador had two bad holes on it and we were concerned about getting stuck in soft stuff and went back to parking area and parked at top of walking trail. Quiet night. No cell reception for Personal (maybe with roaming ).

Street parking beside a public library. Not supper private or quiet. But this spot is away from homes, next to a park and was great for us. Good option if you need something last minute. Walmart’s in the area do not allow overnight RV parking.

Nice and quiet campground right on a small lake. 20$ a night, self registration, it’s like a state park. Very quiet, with sunset. No electricity. Ok for big rigs

Sandy lot. Open. Went down the dirt road to park at a lower level from the road. Wonderful sunset. Very quiet.

GPS first took me to the Country Club then the Residents Baseball field had to use iOverlander map to figure out how to get here.
The actual location is off Yosemite Springs Parkway, directly behind the Yosemite Lakes Community Church.

Nice, quiet place. Two really flat parkings between ATM and municipio, big enough for my small camper van. Couldn’t find electricity point... WiFi ChileGob worked only the next morning. Baños (and showers?) were closed upon arrival (7.30 pm) and didn’t reopen before I left at 10:30 am next morning... (off season?)

Hotel with pool and restaurant. Basic but clean room with private bathroom. 25k for double room with fan, 55k with AC. Secure parking with gate for a few cars and moto’s.

Not sure if they would accept big rigs, however just in front of the hotel there is a asphalt construction site with a large flat area behind a gate, with a stunning view. The guard is superfriendly and probably would let you sleep in your van there.

The restaurant of the hotel is managed by a superfriendly lady who prepares client adjusted meals. For my vegetarian girlfriend she made a huge diverse salad for dinner and a (again huge) fruit salad in the morning. We paid 30k for dinner for 2, and 25k for breakfast for 2. Probably could have bargained but we didn’t. Loads of other small restaurants down the road (going to Pasto).

I was charged 500 pesos(about 14USD) without negotiation on weekdays(seemed original price was much higher). Fast WiFi and large patio(with a small swimming pool) to relax. I shared the toilet with another room. The price included breakfast. I requested earlier breakfast, and the owner prepared and brought to my room at 22:30. How nice it is! The laundry was expensive, ask before requesting it

FREE camping in the restaurant grounds if you eat at the restaurant. Excellent restaurant with large, walled parking lot, showers, external bathrooms, and covered outdoor seating

Run by Luis, a Salvadoran who speaks perfect English and used to live in California. Luis has overlanded to Panama and has traveled extensively. We chatted over dinner and drinks for several hours--very nice!

The forecast threatened rain so Luis told me to set my tent up under the covered porch, next to the covered outdoor seating.

Parking lot is large enough for 10 full-size buses. 2.4m high gate.
