Sulfuric Hot Springs directly at the Kern River, day use area only. Dispersed camping is allowed at any of the pullouts along Old Kern Canyon Rd or stay at Sandy Flat or Hobo Campgrounds. Another option is the parking lot of Remington Hot Springs. Dispersed camping is allowed here as well. Both springs are equally nice, well maintained and regularly cleaned by volunteers. FREE

Très bel endroit pour y rester quelques jours. Amateur de Kitesurf, paddle et pêche c'est pour vous. Beaucoup de vent pendant la journée mais ce calme en soirée . Possibilité de faire des feux de camps. Baignades fraiches possible...

Everything said is still here. Great place to camp and chill for a couple of days. Clean solutions, even provide toilet papers. Restaurant provides meal 6 dollars where is next to the campsite reception. Paid camping $7, entrance $15 for the site in Bond.

Good food, affordable price, nice place to be.

View point at the top of the mountain. Approx. 30 minutes of dirt road! Not good if it raining. Mountain bike trail close if some one can bring your car back down. Lte

Keysville FREE BLM site. Camping spots on both sides of the river. The sites directly at the river are accessed by steep rocky roads, but there are also plenty of easy accessible sites above the river.

nice 3-bed room with shared bathroom for $ 450 pp. Small breakfast included. Nice kitchen. Cat is still there.

Nice, quiet, safe, probably because of proximity to police academy. Huge beach where locals come to camp and hang out, (unfortunately leaving occasional bags of trash on beach, but there are bins). There are firm sand paths for driving and parking (we're in 2wd class B and were fine).

the place is at 9000 feet so can get cold. it is right on your right hand side coming down from the pass after ellery lake dam.

This place is worth supporting and Ramon has put a great deal of effort into making it a very relaxing spot. Quiet, neat with good bathrooms an open plan kitchen, an outdoor leisure area, a small library and a gym. We spent two enjoyable nights here.

A big area to park. No restrictions to park RV's. No estructure. Wild camping.

Stayed here again. As beautiful as ever despite the constant rain. Squishy ground though so be careful you don’t get stuck in the mud...

A big parking area front of Municipal Stadium. Pavimented. No facilities. May acess to water to fill tanks with the security of the Stadium. Quiet day and night. 100 meters from the route PE30A that pass through the city.

Petit camping tout près du centre . Blocs sanitaires ( 2 douches , 2wc) propres , wifi , électricité .
Bémol : nous nous sommes retrouvés quelquefois " collés " les uns aux autres et il fallait sans arrêt bouger les camions pour faire rentrer un maximum de monde ... dommage !
Sinon Alberto et Felicitad sont très gentils .

Parking lot without a height restriction next to all the tour operators. S/2 per hour. Good if you need to visit a tour operator or one of the outdoor gear shops.

Simple RV campsite with electric and water hookups at all the sites. Showers are coinop.

Right on the Lake, with most sites tucked back from the shore. Right next to the giant 1500 yr old Sitka spruce.

In Winter just staying in my van, was able to get price down to $25 not using electric or water. Normally $39 I think

Did not camp here, but did use the clean restrooms and let the dog use the in fenced dog park park. Plenty of room for large rigs. Shower facilities available.

Getting ready to spend the night here, arrived late. Asked permission. They said no problem but cops may stop by and ask us to move because of city ordinance

Good place to fill up the Lady said give me what you think if fair all I had though was 5000 clp. But she was friendly and we filled up like 200 liters so it was fine.

We stopped here in our way from Coban to Guatemala and we couldn’t. They said we weren’t allowed.

Without visa not possible to cross. They send us back to Cotonou where it seems also impossible to get at the moment.
