We pulled into this road to find somewhere to sleep away from the motorway and there are many many places to sleep but this we found to be the largest and most flat space. The road is very very quiet, maybe only 2 cars an hour passed us. There aren't any services.

Low network strength on Turkcell. Stronger outside the van. You can get medium 3G outside. Inside our van the signal was zero.

Tested the “not sure about van or motor home” theory here. Worked great for my 2WD campervan. The access road down is a little steep and sandy, but worked out great. Although there wasn’t much of a river when I was there... somewhat of a trickle. But the locals are friendly and it’s a good stop on your way from Huaraz to Lima.

Ok for a night. Relatively quiet, wi fi open and working a bit slow in cafe. Toilets very new and clean.

Would not recommend this place. Got a weird vibe when I pulled in, didn’t listen to it- had my bike stolen off my bike rack at 4 am.

Very nice campsite with 8 places, also for a truckcamper, each place has electricity, a watertap and a braai area.
The ablution are clean and in a good condition. The farmhouse is not far away and the offer a very good dinner. The staff are very friendly and well organised. We stay there 3 days.

This is a small dirt track just if the main road. There are a few places that are nice to camp for the night. Very quiet. No services.

Probably the largest supermarket in town (Urkupiña).

park rangers kicked us out in the morning. apparently camping is only allowed at the small camground near here.

It is a very nice place in a huge beautiful garden. You can't hear the busy city but the birds and frogs.
20'000 pppn with cold shower, on request they prepared a bucket of hot water for washing the hair and clothes. Toilet is a bit run down.
The host Tom is e very friendly an unique person. Listening to his stories is amazing.

Very nice place with an awesome view over the crater lakes.

Expensive. prices and procedure as per last entry. but when you go by yourself to waterfall or to lake shore the local guard wants 20usd pp activity fee.

Very nice spot with toilets, EV charger and picnic tables. A really enjoyable and clean spot. Wifi is also really good (even from our van). Highly recommanded!

Hostal in Cartagena that also welcomes travelers with bikes, by foot or car. Accomodation is possible in the Hostal or in the garden of the Hostal if you want to use your tent. Extremely friendly owners that are very knowledgeable about the town and it's surroundings.

Follow unmarked road down to the river. Big potholes but doable with campervan. Enough room for 2 campervans on the water but more room before the end of the road. A few fire rings already in place. Might be a pit toilet but we didn't check it.

Kw 72 it is now (?) but still a good stopover to rest after all the trucks and police stops...

Essential passage in Ecuador. meeting with a Ecuadorian family very endearing with the heart on the hand. if you go there, do an abraso to leydi, Fernando and valentino.

Camping near the center of Picada Café, with a simple structure, but with good service and with a river.

If you follow the road from the Stone town parking a bit further you arrive on a hill with a picnic spot. Quiet place with nice views.

All bridges are quite good. They made for 15 t. We have 18 t. As we saw the huge cow transporters with trailer and double deck, it was fine for us as well.

Self-service laundromat in the same building at the Dollar General

Very nice people! We got here at 5 o’clock in the morning and nobody was there but at 8 o’clock we could check in and got a lovely breakfast in the sun 😍

the sign at the entrance to this road now says that there is no camping allowed anywhere in the National Park except for the designated camping at the beach, where you have to pay to stay the night. kind of disappointing that the French speakers on this app refuse to add English comments, everybody else does why not the French?

The dude at YPF recommended this place for getting a new headlight. Wouldn't you know it, they actually had one for our T3. Not cheap (800ARS) but at least we can see now. Let there be light!

Nice little campsite hidden from the road and right on the rocky beach.No facilities here but a perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. Easy access on good quality gravel road. Also has 3-g cell phone reception on the Entel network. Good space for camping and also for small camper vans.
