Community run spice farm in Kizimbani. We chose this one over the larger farm run by the government in the same area.
The tour was very informative and the guide spoke English very vell.

Entrance fee including tour with guide and fruit tasting in the end is 5000TSh per person. The tour itself took about 1.5 hours.

We organized our own transport from Stone Town to the Spice Farm, where the driver waited for us and then from here to Nungwi. We asked around in Stone Town: $40 for the whole trip including entrance fee for two persons with tour operator in the Old German Fort. 70.000 TSh for 2 persons including entrance fee with official taxi and 50.000 TSh with unofficial taxi (no taxi sign in top).

Its a blue/white building, name is on the outside. They have Place for about 10 cars. We get replaced our deformed right suspension at our 2003 Nissan Pathfinder. Guys made a professional job. And were also honest in offering us posdibilities what we can do (replace or try to bend) Ordered spare part from Lima arrives in one day like he said. Changing the part next day was very quickly and the price was really good. Spare part was 350 PEN, which is the correct internet Price (70€). Work for 1,5 hours and steering alligment was 80 PEN. Really good job! High recommondadion. Also a lot of locals used this workshop for tire or suspension/steering issues. So its better when you arrive early (opens at 8.30am). Otherwise you have to wait a bit. Really good place. Was a tip from a swiss couple with their VW LT35. They fixed some kardan issues at this place.

Hasn’t rained for maybe 2 weeks, so no mud or problematic river crossings. Now track is heavily eroded in steeper sections—deep grooves, exposed rocks (maybe sometimes placed as road maintenance?) and bigger boulders (too tall except for the 6x6 delivery trucks in Nigeria), but there’s always a route around them. btw S to N for us

On this street and also others in the area you can do some stealth camping. Just check the signs because on some days there is no overnightparking allowed because of street cleaning. It's a convenient spot to explore the city.

Cute, very tiny, library with free fast WiFi! Hours are 1-6 during week, closed on Sat-Sun.

But WiFi can be reached in parking lot when closed and is fast.

AND: we asked about overnighting at Peña Park, librarian said not anymore...but just park here! And the groundskeeper filled our water tank!

For both we have paid 125 MXN/person, a good spot to cool down. X'Kekén has more stalactites, in Samulá you have more space to swim and more sunlight because the hole above is bigger.

It’s not about the coffee here, it’s all about the cheese. It’s like the cheese version of IHOP. Literally queso in every form, however you like it. So so good.

Honduras: the hardest part was to find which shack was migration and aduana. Then get passport stamped first (right windows), proceed to Aduana (left windows), give them passport, original TIP (2 papers) , one copy of the colored page. Fill out declaration form. You will get car exit stamp and one paper back. That's all. Free. Time about 10 min.

Nicaragua: Park right across the border on the left. 1. Fill out declaration form in the yellow hut, somebody with a name tag will check the form, drivers license and car title, they briefly looked into the car and asked about drone.
2. Go to migration windows with your passport (blue and white container). Answer questions (where from/to, for how long, name of the first stop and hotel), pay $12 USD ($10 tourist card, $2 fee), show email (in the phone was ok), wait and get all the receipts and stamps.
3. ‎Deal with the police in black uniforms. They keep your car title, drivers license and declaration form until end of the process. They will direct you to fumigation ($3 USD with receipt) and X-ray. Bring the car back. Long wait until they get x-ray results. Officer will compare the results with your car, stamp the declaration form and return your documents (they checked some camping equipment we have inside, tools and wrenches, roof box with engine oil, spare parts etc.).
4. ‎Aduana: give declaration, car title, drivers license, passport. Wait. Sign a form. Get a form and don't loose it, it's $100 if you do.
5. ‎All done here. About 500m down the road you will show the paperwork to some officer. Here is also insurance broker. We already had one from Guatemala and it was ok. They also collect municipal fee $2 usd. Now you're free to go. Enjoy!

The police part took the longest. We had enough time to eat big breakfast in the comedor for 45C, coffee 5C. Everybody was very nice and patient. Lady in aduana remembered a song with my name and sung it 🙂. Total time for us was about 3 hours. Nobody wanted any of my copies. We didn't use a "helper" and we speak very basic and limited Spanish.

This is not the factory! On the second floor in this building there is a tourist information office where the nice ladies can give you directions to Nica Sueño factory and tons of other useful info. The office is not visible from street, just go upstairs. I guess they were happy to see some tourists, because they took pictures of us and wouldn't stop talking about all the nice things we can see and do in Nicaragua.
I changed the name of this point to tourist info.
