We stayed here for two weeks. A wonderful place to stop for the night or stay for the season. The owner is very knowledgeable about the area and even took a group of us on a day trip to a historic tequila house and beautiful small town and restaurant. You will also find rooms and bungalows for rent on this beautiful beach front property. You will not regret your stop here.

The place beside the hospital. There's a night guard and you only need to ask him. There's not many space, but for one or two tents it's fine. There are lots of soccer fields around, so there are noises from the games until late in the night. Also, people that finish their game, come very near the tent to drink water and chat. Ok for one night.

This has the best views of the four different free parking areas. It looks right up at the Torres Del Paine. The river runs right next to it but you do have to walk up the road to get to the bathrooms. The ranger did say the water in the bathroom is potable. Many other overlanders stay here and we made some friends during our couple night stay at this spot.

Dispersed Camping at a real oasis in the desert at the Saline Valley Warm Springs. The Road is rough with a lot of stones but well maintained. It will take 3,5-4 hours from Big Pine to the Hot Spring. There was no obstacle coming in over North Pass (except some snow on the upper section of the North Pass) and other people told us the same about South Pass Road. It is passable in a 2 WD car but take care of your tires!

Friendly place to stay with parking and private parking for bikes. Off course they also have a diving school.

Staff is incredibly friendly. WiFi is not too bad if you wake up early before the crowd. Price is including breakfast. We paid EGP 400 per night for a private room.

Beach is on the other side of the property, with an amazing reef for snorkeling. Renting a mask will only set you back EGP 20 so there is no excuse not to go.

Small, quiet place-not much room for trailers, more for bikers w/tents. Pit toilet & water available. Lots of people for early December! Ok for one night.

No longer a diesel card. We waited 15min and from different truck drivers we got each time small bits of diesel (15l). Some truck drivers even gave it for free. Everyone was very helpful!

This was my second time here. It is a wonderful place! We camped with two bikes and two tents. The price is up to 150 pesos per person, but it's worth it. Nice shower to use too. Some dogs around, but it's Mexico! Overall, just a great place.

The perfect camp spot next to Laguna Victoria, wind shelter between trees. Space for tents and rigs, several built spaces for fires/BBQs and peaceful view over the lake. As the sun started to disappear we were rewarded with the wildlife - birds, foxes, fish jumping and a beaver swimming by. We were here during the week and only saw a few other people coming in to fish and leave again, no other campers. We went all to the end of the road (RP-J) and based upon road conditions and the setting, we preferred this location.

As there is no camping in and around of Toluca, we wanted to stay in the parking of WalMart, but we couldn't get in due to our height (max 2.6m), so we stopped at the parking lot of the fire station. Firemen were very kind, they told we can stay here for the night, they also offered to use the bathroom and to fill the water tank (we didn't need neither of them.) We coukd also catch some free wifi here. It's loud as it's nextvto the main road, but safe!

As described good place for overnight. Nice scenery, clean restrooms. When I was here in early December, it was really quiet, except for a few trucks coming through using engine break (also as mentioned before). "Limit your stay to 8h" like most rest areas.

To give back the I94 paper, go down G Avenue and turn right on 1st Street. Parking allowed along the Street for 30minutes. Go by feet to the US customs.
Give the paper back, then back into the car, take back G Avenue, turn left on 6th Street and again left on Pan American Avenue.
Take right on 5th avenue, follow the signs to the mexican border.
Easy crossing. Friendly mexican staff.

Great spot. Free and legal dispersed camping for up to 14 days. Note that the GPS marker points to a spot off the road near a livestock corral which has a no parking sign. The better spot is down the road slightly at the Sierra Vista trailhead.

located in Joshua Tree National N.P. This campsite is closest to the city of Joshua Tree. Being in the North end of the park it is very close to all Trails and climbing locations.

sites are close to each other but overall it is a nice campground.
Toliets were clean, camp was quite. $15 a night. Also there is a water fill station at the closest visitor center.
