Really nice place! Secluded grassy and gravel parking lot with trail heads. Trails were used by a few locals while we were there. We were the only campers. No washrooms or amenities. The coastal part of the “economy trail” has amazing vantage points to watch the tides.

Great little spot by the river, a bit hidden from the road - which can be a bit noisy but stops later at night.

Good overnight, but no wind shelter or shade.

After Planet Baobab the welcome here was exemplary.
We were told there would be hot water in the ablutions - if there was none of it was reaching the showers.
The bar and eating area are nice, the buffet meal good.

Nous sommes arrivés un dimanche vers 16h. Accueil sans sourire. 100 pesos par personne (enfant également). Compter encore la même somme pour passer la journée du lendemain au bord de l'unique piscine pleine de monde. Et encore la même somme pour repasser une nuit... Soit pour 3 personnes ... 900 pesos les 36 heures pour dormir sur un parking. A ce compte il vaut mieux prendre un hotel avec piscine!

Our experience was ok. You can at least take a shower after a very hot day biking. In an area with almost no fresh water. Room was very basic but clean. You need to bring your own towels.
You could camp at the police station. We came here because we wanted a shower.

Next door. Very good breakfast at 6.30 (can even be earlier) with fried eggs and caldo.

WiFi- average, friendly staff, nice place near of the River.

This is not a typical campground. There are small pullouts off the main forest service road. Some have tables and fire rings ($10 per night) and others just fire rings ($5 per night). There is a campground host here. Pit toilets are available too. I'm told that this place is usually reserved far in advance as it's a huge climbers hangout.

wonderfull place. well organized. very good installation for campers. but we opted for the cabin since they are not expensive and they have a view. but campers could still enjoy the view from the common area around the bar.

While my visit at the place, the WC were without water. I used my porta poti.

very very quiet, although you can hear cars passing on road in the distance. Camp spaces not well distinguishable (beside first spot having bonfire rocks), but I just parked in an opening. 1 other person stayed, another was hiking then left. Nice spot, and free.

Beautiful waterfalls. But: full of trash...
We went quite early (07h00) and until 07h30 there was not one soul. That changed afterwards- locals come in masses.

Quait nice place, closy to center, 10min to market, 2 usd per taxi to come back. Fast internet, 5 usd per person. Friendly owner Jose. Hot shower. A lot chikens in field.

Nice guest house with western toilet and running water.

15,000tzs for a double room.

Just enough space to keep 2 bicycles inside the room.

Great restaurant just below the hotel.

Really busy on weekends, but a really cool place to just relax, and enjoy the view of wind surfers, and kite surfers. Very laid back, dogs need to remain on leash but they provide plenty of poop bags, and lots of cool little trails that weave in and out to the beaches. Will definitely be back to camp during the week when it’s not so busy. Windy.

Nobody here. Rooms, kitchen, bathrooms all open. Sign says to call (12) 99119-1221 but that number is not answered.

It's a lawn of about 40 by 15 meters, with the rooms etc off on one side (the mountain).

Entrance is a bit hard to find and has no sign. The access road is quite steep. Not sure if one has access to the sea from here

Great spot close to the park , can even see the visitor centre from bed !!!! I don’t know why people would spend the $15 a night in camp grounds when you can experience these great backcountry spots . Level sites , fire rings .

It’s ok I guess. You probably shouldn’t go there. About the best view ever.

It's very windy at the moment, but it looks like a nice place in summer.
Only downer, the walls of the toilets looked like they had bullet holes in them, same as the recycling bin. Later we actually found shotgun casings...
But it's free and the view is great!

No more picnic tables, trash bags or wifi. Since it's at the back of a industrial building, it doesn't feel like a place you can stop anymore. I didn't stop there

Camping is now 120 pppn.

They also have a dorm for 180. the owner gave me a chalet for the dorm price so I didn’t camp.

The wood oven pizza is divine!

Great place to visit Moscow. Walk 30 min to metro through forest. No WiFi.
