We went into Chile at 7pm in the dark and met the most friendly border officer you can imagine! He only asked if we had the typical forbidden food with us and if yes to throw it away but didn’t check our car. We were honest and threw away the last egg and garlic we had on our behalf.

Very nice place and quiet for campers.

Place under trees at the outskirts of Bozhonka at the Riverside of River Msta.

The road ends at this point on a little parking which is fine to stay for the night. Easy access to the river, but swimming not really advisable. Popular place among locals but they all disappear in the evening.
The dirt track to the iO spot a couple of hundred meters down the river is basically closed ... but locals still bypass the ditch and drive there (small cars only!)

Given the alternatives this isn’t bad at all. Power if park close to the event lapa, water, ablutions. Didn’t use the shower but others did. Quite a busy place with locals and the bar can be a bit noisy but both nights the sound of the lake drowned it out as was windy. No wifi but 3G coverage if you have your own sim. Very friendly.

Really nice. $15 with annual NP pass. We had no reservation (on a Sunday) and scored site P12 which is really long and backs right up to the creek. Excellent spot for dogs and children. We would definitely stay here again (though weekends seem busy with many reservations).

As described below, large grassy area to park car, we could park anywhere. Bathroom in lobby was clean. We asked to use the shower and they opened a room for us to use shower. Felt safe.

We stopped here because we really needed internet this evening. It was our first question. "Internet is available" is written on the sign and she assured us that she has good internet. It was 280 rands for 2. Expensive but we stayed because of internet. We were sitting outside together for a while, it was nice and friendly with her partner and their friends. We went to repark the car. When we came back after 5 minutes all lights were turned off, there was nobody and no internet. Is was 7 pm and she switched off everything. We kindly asked her for switching in on because we really needed it. She told us that it's mountains and she has no energy (ok but she should have told us this, she new we are here for the internet) and if we don't like it she will open the gate and we have to leave. Her tone was very rude. It was totally dark, it's mountain curved road to go and we already drink a beer that she gave us. When we started to discuss and negotiate the price she told us she is going to call POLICE. So we payed for 2 small beers (90 rands!!!!!), left her possetion angry and stayed for a night next to the road.
100% UNRECOMMENDED place. So if you have to stay somewhere here choose different place (there are few) or stay wild because we were told it's safe area.

Asphalted place at the end of a road to stand with nice view. No restrooms, just a good spot to park overnight.

Wild camp spot on secluded side road in the middle of the forest. Road was ok with AWD after heavy rain, could do in 2wd most likely. Enough room for 3-4 rigs, with additional room on the other side of the dirt road if need be. A couple of fire pits. Nice grassy spot! Quiet.

Spent 3 nights here. Basic toilet and shower, super fast wifi. Not sure how kosher it is but free access to the national park through the property. 3000 pppn. Really friendly owner that knows a lot about the area and gave us recommendations!

As described, 50 somoni for 2 people sleeping in their own vehicle. Unfortunately no breakfast during Ramadan.
Clean and hot shower/bathroom.
The gate is about 2,9m high and there is space for 2 van-sized vehicles.
They also do laundry, but as they don't have a real washing machine they have to do it mainly by hand which makes it quite pricey, we payed 50 somoni per bag.

Spent 2 nights, quiet enough ! And you can go to the Dufferin Islands park just next to, to use the bathroom, BBQ, enjoy the birds etc.. perfect ! Thanks Niagara !

Big parking lot where it is possible to park and sleep. Quiet. Trail in the forest for walking. Dry Restroom.

One of our favorite places. You can hear the main road but it‘s not bad at all.

Two parking lots for the Gerst Haus Restaurant which is currently out of business (May 2019). The large one is adjacent to Shoney's and the other is across the road next to the abandoned Gerst Haus. Signage at the large lot indicates that parking is for Gerst Haus only (except for Event Days) - we parked here as an alternative to Nissan Stadium because there was an event in progress. Some road noise. There's room for bigger rigs too. We weren't bothered by anyone during our stay and it's a easy walk to the stadium or bridge into downtown.

A fantastic spot! Close to the pedestrian bridge into town, low traffic at night. Definitely check for event days beforehand though.

Western standard hotel. double room with airco is 32000fr inc breakfast. good wifi, good airco,good swimmingpool! :-) there is a new gasstation across the road where they sell a lot of western products. also a bakery there.

We found it as an mostly empty, not so much serviced site. At about 8-9pm, a community person came to collect a CDD 20 fee.

Nice place very close to Cuicocha. New. We did not spend the night here but the place is good for placing even big rigs.

I thought it was nice and lovely by the river. That is except for the trailer who ran a sewer hose into the river.

This is the wrong location. The actual trail is near Sedona.

Still free with state park pass (but nobody was there to check for it). Free electricity and dumping, but no water and toilets were locked in May. Good views and isolated.

Were asked 6 usd for the vehicle for the day, 10 for the night. Were there on a Friday night and very calm. The hotel is closed during the very long off season ( open nov to Jan )- but guarded. Water is available, no shower or bathroom . The electricity looks like hacked from the neighbor house, we declined the guard offer... you can rent a boat to visit the mangrove and very nice beaches/islands around for 50usd for 2-3 hours.

Parking area in the hills with picnic tables and non p water , slight slope but very quiet , unofficial overnight aire ! Very picturesque with birdsong , herbs and amazing views !
