Large clearing on ridge in state forest on secondary road, formerly a site loggers piled wood. Worked great for us.

This site is now for day use only, no camping. But there is a minor track off the main road in the opposite direction that leads to a clearing and a good camping spot.

Excellent place for wild camping with a stunning view at the Fraser Falls and the canyon. Some Dassies on the rocks, no people. No Vodacom Signal. Just turn off at the main road at the signpost „Fraser Falls“.

Got in late so just stopped at the beginning of the road, where it transitions to dirt. Good night, just a couple of cars passed on the road while we were here.

0 to 1 bar of Verizon 4G.

Great spot! A little bumpy on the road in but we were fine in a Ram Promaster. Very quiet. Would have been great for star gazing but the moon was too bright.

Great spot for day parking. Quiet park, has bathrooms. There are water spigots throughout, only some are accessible from parking spots (25' hose worked but it was tight). A ton of wildlife to watch, the raccoons are cute. Try to find Pepe the rooster near the kayak launch!

Added some pics. Lovely spot. Flat and easy access and far enough off the road for some quiet.

Coin operated laundromat in mini mall by gas station. Many machines; 50lbs, 30lbs and 10lbs washers and a wall of big dryers. Typical older laundromat. Could be cleaner but does the job.

Awesome disperses spot in HNF. Right off the gravel road, but during our 2 night stay we saw less than 5 cars. Attached to hickory ridge trail. It was cold so we didn’t venture too far. Fire ring on site. We were both able to work with our cell booster. Would have been questionable otherwise.

Strong Auto Parts store in town. As mentioned in the other marked location, this is their new store. Variety of oils, filters, belts, tools etc.

This is a WMA campsite. Free if you register but there is no code to get in the place. Definitely a spot with activities from locals and it is obvious this area gets a ton of rain and storms. Good for a night stopover- it is quiet and dark.

Clean dump station with water. Went in to ask and they confirmed it was free. Gave them my license as collateral for the keys. Clean and organized.

Great little spot. Enough room for 10 or so larger RVs. Only a horse trailer and 2 tents on a weekend. Lots of trails and a river about 1/2 mile away. small gas station 3 miles up the road.

Great spot by the river. Hilda was very nice having us pick any spot we wanted. Place is a bit run down and feels forgotten, but if you don’t mind the minimal upkeep, the setting is stunning!

Great spot! Will stay here next time through. Caretaker helped us right away picking a spot that fit our needs best. Location is perfect for a walk to harbor, restaurants, and town. Spots are close together but it’s in the heart of the city! No 30 amp or 50 amp power so expect only 110 power. I wish the website and phone would work for future reservations. Nothing is worse than getting there and they are full or closed!

Great parking area at the trailhead for a night. Cops routinely come by, possibly on a schedule, but they do not seem to care about self contained overnight campers. I pulled up around 7:30 in a promaster, and a cop was parked by the portopotties which I promptly used, and when I left he was gone. Not bothered by the cop I saw at 11 am either. Great winter overnight option as the parking lot melts snow quickly.

nice camping place (ask to be on the soccer field)
you pay 120 pesos per adult and you have access to a small swimming pool, hot showers, toilets, hammocks, and internet from the restaurant... everything is well maintained and nicely made.
the restaurant does good food and all the staff is good.
so we paid 240 pesos per day for 2 adults 2 kids and a big camper, definitely worth it.
and try those delicious wooden oven pizzas from Don Mucho's which is opposite the office of this place

Delicious menu for everyone; excellent vegetarian options and for meat eaters, ethically farmed meat! Seriously this was the best food we found since we left Toronto. Prices are fair, lovely and happy servers and free parking at the back of the restaurant. Fuel up here!

Nice Boondocking stop. Good place to spend the night if you’re visiting the refuge first thing in the morning or until sunset. Just a dirt pull off. Verizon and AT&T have weak but reasonable signals this place can accommodate a fairly big rig.

First big parking lot before going into Hyalite Canyon. Most people begin their carpools into the canyon here. Had a couple of teenagers pull in playing their loud music and revving the engine around 10pm but they left quickly. Otherwise, a good night. No signs prohibiting overnight parking. One bar of Verizon service. Plenty of room.
