Nothing special but it's an easy in and out location, right off the highway. There are a few spots right off the road that would be suitable for any vehicle but you'd definitely want something w high clearance if you go further in. I stayed on a Friday night and didn't see anyone else. Good cell service.

Great spot for a night. In between two residentials but all smiles. Stayed until 8:30 with no meter maid in sight but a local told me they're brutal.

Confirming everything below. Filled up water cans at the dog hose off too. If the first lot is too crowded keep moving to the second one. Great spot!

It was a quiet night. Nobody harassed us. Don't know about the weekends.

Planty and big space. Surrounded by mountains and spectacular views of the lake. We were two nights. Other Overlander and some locals with tends. With our Montainbikes we arrived on the lathe side of the lake. Easy and fun path.

Spacious parking lot across from visitor center and park. Decent bathrooms at the park. Was parked with two other rigs and had no issues. Nice to walk out to the beach and pier in the morning without having to move your vehicle

Great spot- just as described. We had it to ourselves all afternoon and evening. A few cars went by in the late afternoon but they didn’t stop. We jumped on our bikes and rode to and around the nearby oasis- an easy ride except for a few sandy spots where we had to push through. Got a bit windy in the middle of the night.

Beautiful lodge
No campsites. Only chalet tents. Nice service. Not so nice food. Very expensive. And the best game drives ever. Mr anT as our driver was awesome.

Only 1 level site suitable for RTT, in the shade right by the bar. People use this site as a walkway to their ground tents, even had a car park right next to us despite the actual carpark being empty. Not much peace and quiet with car door slamming and talking right next to us whilst trying to sleep. Busy place for socialising but we won't be back.

Great spot in spring for sunrise and sunset. No shade from the nearby rocks. So it is probably blazing hot in late spring. Set back from road; not as much road dust. We found a cattle trail down to the wash (“creek”) and walked 1.5 miles down the tree lined wash.

Just up the road there are more spots for vans/trucks. Just before mile post. 5 there's a corral and a big spot to turn trucks around and possibly camp with big rvs. The hill to the top is steep so take that into consideration. Some UTVs and Jeeps on the road during the day but very peaceful.

Half the road is covered in snow on this narrow one way. Only come if you have an appropriate vehicle. Had to turn myself around because I almost got stuck in the mud...

This is a large compacted dirt lot advertised as primitive camping within the park (although there are no signs located here indicating so). There are lots of other areas throughout the park to camp, but it is indicated on the map. I got confirmation from staff at the Visitor's Center as I needed someplace more accessible (I have a 2WD campervan; most other areas in the park need 4WD due to the sand.) No amenities. It's mostly a trailhead for hiking; we saw about a dozen people total Wednesday & Thursday in late February.

Nice stay overnight. Next to local main road but quiet at night. Lovely grass area for dogs to play and next to river. We were only ones there. In the morning a few local work trucks used area for day parking. But no problems at all.

Awesome location IN the lake.
The views here are amazing. A little noise from I-5 off in the distance, but this location is so worth the trip here. Super wild day road to get here, but so much room on the dry lake bed. Arrive in the daylight as there are some big wash out areas you want to avoid.
