Works for a night. Trucks pulling in and out and leaving their engines running made it a pretty loud, but no problems.

Came here as a last resort (not many dump stations in NW FL). The ranger let us in the gate just to use the dump station no charge. Not sure if that’s how it always is but we came right at closing time and then left

Amazing Italian pizza place. Wood fired oven and owned by an Italian. The pizzas are fantastic and run about 200-350 pesos. Big enough to share if you’re not too hungry or order two and have a little to go. The tiramisu is out of this world.

Nice place up the mountain from Borrego Springs. Small spots more suited for car camping. Clean pit toilets.

Works fine as a base camp for death Valley. It is a parking lot with lines designating the slost. Be aware that Verizon service has no data available.

Safe street parking in quiet neighborhood within walking distance to groceries and take out restaurants.

Free camping next to the river. We asked to the local people and they said that sleeping here by the river is really secure. And the Town too.

This spot is way closer to the road than we expected given the previous comments. No Verizon cell service. We have dogs and so chose not to stay here because they would have to be leashes.

From the entrance to the parking space is well maintained during the winter. There are two areas available to park, one very well lit and other one dark. We felt safe and slept like babies. Bathrooms not in service. We only saw another car and a dog walker in the morning.

Most campgrounds are open during Covid. Really beautiful site, with amazing sunset on the canyon and mountains. We were all by ourself which makes it even more special. Dry toilets and potable water.

Lots of RVs at this Cracker Barrel. Felt safe. Some road noise, but not too bad. Park as far from the highway onramp as possible for less noise. Cell signal varied a ton between almost none and >40mbps download. Not sure if this is normal or something was going on with the tower. No wifi there, but there is at the Taco Bell right next door if you really need it.

Pulled in after dark. Looked like the road had been plowed, but a few days ago. I didn’t want to explore too much and get stuck with my low clearance van, so I parked it in the main entrance area. Looked empty, except one truck left early the morning. It’s still $7. Convenient place to stay before heading into Yellowstone. Pit toilets were clean and open. Looks like it’s a year round campground. Self-pay station. No Verizon service. Comfortable night!

Beautiful spot with established fire places. We stayed right next to the river, had a fire in the evening and swam in the stream in the morning. Takes 45 minutes over an unmade road so be aware, but highly recommend this spot

Giant rock is awesome, the people who visit to spray paint the rock and surrounding rocks are not. Things to know, even though the desert is huge the RZRs and side by sides will undoubtedly choose to romp around near your camp late at night and no where else. Some people think it’s fun to scatter nails everywhere, and there are thousands at the designated camps near giant rock. Besides no one truly respecting the land here, it is beautiful, but you have to get through the glass, nails, bottle tops, burnt to the ground cars, and idiots painting their political preference on places sacred to the native peoples to see it.

Entel 4G was better here than in Chile Chico, so work from here if you need to work.

Not a ton of spots, but great view. Was the only overnighter there. Normal road noise, but otherwise quiet

Second night we came to camp in the week, cops came around 10:30pm claiming that the beach was closed and that because we were camping we had to pay a fine, I asked them to show me any document stating both the claim and the amount of the fine, they could only show me an article online saying that the beach is going to close on March 1st (article from 2020)
After a back and forth they told us (and another camper in a suv to just move) we all went to try to park at the bar (the guy taking care of the place didn’t let us, not his call to make) we ended up coming back and parking next to each other.
We googled for hours trying to find anything saying anything about the closure of the beaches or any fines but if anything we learned that the “semáforo” is going from level 4 to level 3, so don’t let them bamboozle you.

Also please stop using the mangrove as a toilet, bring a shovel, if you can’t dig deep enough go to the toilet in the bar, even if you are only peeing. Put your toilet paper in your trash.
Pee/ dig a hole at least 100 feet from where people are/will possibly camp.
Some beaches have been closed by the environmental police and this is on us as much as it is on the locals.

Great place for a night. Very quiet at night, beautiful 360 degree views.

Small expedicion-agency offering rafting, kayak-courses and fly fishing right next to the central square in Futaleufú. Did the rafting (puente-puente, 45mil pesos) and a kayak-class (3h, 70mil pesos) with them and had a really great time. Experienced guides, en general the people (Giorgia, runs the shop and Flo, the main instructor) are muy buena onda and they make sure everybody leaves happy! Definitely to be recommended!

Stayed two nights. Cops rolled by numerous times and did not stop.
Let’s be clear about this location though.... there are many signs stating “no camping” & “no overnight parking” in the immediate area. Clearly we’re not wanted as overnighters.. the only additional signage that could be put up is along the road which is a little crazy.

We’ve been full time for 2 years, all over the country. Common sense says this is not a spot for overnighting. + copious amounts of gnats & unlevel & busy busy busy.
Florida is hard to overnight!! :(

We spend the night on the parking of "the end of the world"! Very few cars during the day, none at night, nobody told us anything. The view is gorgeous! If you need water, you have to walk a bit to the river that goes into the sea (end of the beach, on your right when you're facing the sea). No facilities, a bit difficult to find "bush toilets" around!

Other vans/campers/overnight cars here when I rolled up at 11:30pm, as promised. Used the bathroom in the late evening and early morning (back to 24/7 hours as of Feb ‘21) with my black card. No one seems to mind us here.

Very good place to stay with a motorhome!
Impressive number of showers and bathrooms... Though it's closed from noon to 6 in the morning.
Even though it's not a H24 autoposto, we felt safe there and the "dining place" is as cute as comfortable for a Gaz station.

Checkpoint still here but no one around. We could pass through easily.

Shoprite Supermarket. Not the biggest shop, but daily supplies available.
