We really liked this place. The beach is nice, we saw seals and dolphins and the sunset was beautiful. Some people coming in the evening, but we were alone at night, very quiet.

We bought the tickets to Castro (Quellon not available at the moment) at the office in the city (same prices). You have to be at the harbour one hour before departure and line up (the queue goes all the way to the main road... a bit dangerous). There are toilets on board, big seating room and also seats outside on the upper deck. We had a great weather for the journey (a bit more than 5hours), beautiful view. There's a sanitary check point at arrival, just have to show your c19.

On the top of a hill, with a 360° view on Kunene river, Angolan nd Namibian mounts.
Close to an abandoned himba hut.
Ground isn't very clean, but view is amazing
very close to the road, but nobody passed when we slept there.

Wonderful place for your own or rented camper or camping. Excellent facilities, it has very good and very clean bathrooms and showers, common areas for the family that include swimming pool and game rooms. 7 dollars a night per person in camping, includes breakfast and access to common areas. We stayed for 3 nights, a highly recommended place for adventurers passing through with their family. The staff is very attentive and friendly

Found it empty and perfect for a night during a trip home from CA. River drowns out most vehicles on hiway just 50 yards away. A few fire-pits without hardware. Please don’t wander down the dirt road heading east as it’s private property. Saw lots of .38 bullet shells, FYI. No hikes within short walking distance and no hiway shoulder to stroll on. No way to cross the river.

We spent 5 days in this beautiful spot a few metres from the river. We came with a 2WD Van. It is a very quiet and peaceful place. We were alone.

Just a dirt plot at the end of a decent road. Fits a long van, no RV. Can setup tent. Only one house about 500m away, did not bother us.

Street parking in a nice neighborhood. Very quiet at night and more trafficked in the morning. Pay to park Monday-Friday during daylight hours 8-20. Great place for a free safe night! MX City has public WiFi available and this location is in network!

Great quiet spot. Be sure to pay the $20 land trust fee. Last a year and worth it. Didn’t see anyone in 3 days. Great Phone service with AT&T.

We chose the second spot. We have a Winnebago View. No issues. We pulled all the way to the back close to the water tank. Great view and very quiet. Spent 4 nights.

Five sites with picnic tables and fire rings, a few more without amenities. Vault toilet, easy to get to. Close to the highway but it's not too busy at night. Free camping for seven days in a 30 day period.

In our opinion this the best place in South Africa to storage your motorhome or truck even for long time. We storaged our truck for one year. It has a separate garage with a locked gate and electricity. The owner, Steve and Sharon, are very very friendly and helpful.
They live there and the storage is heavily gated, there are several cameras and dogs in the night. Highly recommended.

Stayed here one night. We went up the hill a bit to get further from the road. We could barely hear terrific.

If you want a true dessert camp spot in the middle of nowhere this is your spot!

No cell coverage.

I'd give it 5 stars but the app isn't letting me.

we spend the night here. Awesome facilities, hot shower, laundry, wifi, restaurant, and more. Huge parking lot, where you can find the right place to sleep. Many trucks but still plenty of space. We paid 60$ pesos for the shower one of the best ! you have your own cabin to change plus the shower.

Tent camped here the night, charged $150pesos for 2people. Bathrooms stay open all night and had toilet paper. Showers looked abit dodgy so opted for a swim in the pools instead. The lower one was our favourite, lots of little fish will come and nibble your feet and a natural stone bottom.
Word of warning, don’t park your camper or tent under a tree, as creatures will poop a nasty fruit seed mixture on your vehicle.
Had the place to ourselves after the day visitors had left. Nice and quiet
