Asked if we could stay and they said yes like this was not the first time. I would almost assume that most Don Arturo's offer camping, because we have stayed at others before.

Turned up without a booking and were the only ones here. 150pppn. Make sure you don't arrive late and still want a shower as you have to light the fire for the donkey yourself. Interesting mine and lovely to see the porcupines. It rained heavily and the Swiss volunteers offered us to sit in a room in their house.

Very nice owners. Offered us a coffee in the morning (even a cappuccino) and we were allowed to use the kitchen in the apartment nearby. You park your camper in front of those apartments so it is not very private, but we were alone so it wasn't much of a problem. Very nice (hot) showers as well. Very clean place. It is perfect for one or two nights. Big rigs won't be able to get through the gate though. All in all a really nice spot.
Best is to write or call before you go there. It is not much space, maybe three rooftopcampers max, probably two.

Good spot to park n explore the town but very noisy at night with all the cars driving by with loud music.

It's okay for one night, but that's all. Concrete not very leveled, but we managed. People coming and going until late with music and fishermen early in the morning...

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans ce camping . C’est un endroit vraiment très agréable , ombragé, proche de tout et dans un cadre superbe . Beaucoup d’animaux vivent en liberté .
Nous avons stationner sous les manguiers , nous pouvons ramasser les fruits lorsqu’il sont au sol c’était délicieux .
Il y a une très belle piscine .
Nous avons payé 350$mex la nuit pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants .

This place is expensive compared to others at 2 pesos/liter.

As described, nice clean beach, large and plenty of place to park. Busy with locals so not necessarily quiet but the vibe is good. There are trash bins and a toilet that we didn't use.

Nothing here. We drove by looking for it and saw no sign of any kind of checkpoint

Definitely a good place to crash for the night after visiting Disney or Universal! About 10-15 min from universal and 5-10 from a bunch of shops and dining. Lots of trucks but also a handful of vans and cars. I’m a single female camping out of my car and I felt safe enough! Definitely some road noise from the interstate, but that’s what earplugs are for, right?

Mohan .. who runs this place has a heart of gold. A cumin farmer has opened up this homestya will make ur stay extremely comfy. you can deploy your RTT or rigs here.

This is paid Campground. It is a Army Corp Of Engineers Campground on the lake. $28 dollars a night. The Campground is beautiful.

Disgusting. Shotgun shells and trash everywhere. Did not stay.

We were in at 11 and out at 7. A good place to sleep for a night. If you keep going straight for another 150 yards it dead ends at another similar flat spot. Probably pretty quiet. The labeled spot isn’t bad but you hear a little tragic noise most of the night.

Unfortunately the site is much smaller than it looks in the photo and now has multiple piles of garbage nearby. We checked the site out and ultimately moved on.

I actually parked for the night at the restaurant over the road (don't want to include it as a separate point as they may not appreciate an influx of overlanders, but they didn't hesitate to say it was fine when I asked. was nice to be a bit back and elevated above the road, and left my van while trekking too then had lunch there after.

Volcano took me a solid 4 hours to the base of the peak and then maybe half an hour or 40 minutes to top it - out of puff! There's a longer but easier oath to descend from the peak which you'll stumble on if you walk round the crater - it descends towards the smaller second peak and then cuts left to rejoin the main path.

Lovely to have friendly canine company all the way up and back - I felt bad about not having more food and especially water to share with her. Name's Sola, according to the restaurant owners who given her scraps - photo attached - give her a belly rub from me if you see her!

I don’t know if a grave was excavated or not but there seems to be a memorial. There’s also carved log benches and an established fire pit with gorgeous river views and access. The log trucks driving day and night using their Jake brakes are an annoyance.

very exposed, can see and faintly hear the road, but not too much traffic along the road. beautiful views. I had weak but usable ATT coverage.
