/blogs/111915 | Yo, this place is a straight up godsend!! Hot shower, friendly people, $5 for 15 minutes (plus a ten dollar deposit that you'll get back if you're not an a**hole). They only take cash, but if you're short, they also have an ATM. Hours are 7am to 10pm, open during covid-19, wear a mask. |

wholebodyhealth.me | Big RV spots with hookups if you need... those are 50 usd a night. I have a van and was told it is 200 pesos for camping for 1, beach access, and super secure. Might be the only place around that offers beach access for Rv/ campers. Very very nice community of expats around as well ❤️ |

piedraloca | I don't know what unholy power the OHV lobby has with the CA State Parks system, but bless them. Regular state parks are $25-$45/night + $8 "reservation fee" and then you pay for showers, if they're even available. SVRAs, otoh, are $0-$15/night. This one is $10/night with free unlimited hot showers in private rooms, free WiFi (for real! I didn't believe it until I logged in), potable water, and flush toilets. No hookups, and lots of loud dirt bike and quad activity during the day. BUT they don't allow off-roading at night, so the mid-week evenings are quiet. Campsites are in a canyon, underneath beautiful oak trees, with picnic tables, fire pits, and some sites have ramadas. There are quail, wild turkeys, and even a very friendly cat who belongs to the store and roams freely. There are many campsites very close together and it's a bit of a free for all in terms of where any one space begins or ends. I wouldn't want to be here on a weekend, or anytime it was full! But a midweek stay is great. Beware the poison oak if you go wandering down any trails. There are non-motarized/regular hiking trails that begin off the end of the Madrone campground. |

Les | I live in a house on this street. I also have an RV which I park in front of my house. Sure I could store it somewhere far away, but there's a perfect spot right in front of my house.

grant.webber | We found this late in the day after we had been moved on by the Jandarma from the national park. Clearing surrounded by pine trees, ok for big rigs. We stayed one quiet night and weren’t disturbed. Sheltered from winds, could be soft and slippery when wet. Entrance just to the side of the little brigde. |
Sheltered clearing | 36.98274, 28.26640 | |
grant.webber | Big parking next to small marina where you can get boats to Cleopatra Island. We were going to camp in the little small clearing to the side but were moved on by Jandarma saying that it’s a national park and no camping. Hard to find a camp around this area at this time of year (March), access to most beaches closed or not accessible for big rigs. |

stephx0 | Parked overnight at the Planet Fitness parking lot. The gym is open 24 hours and no one seemed to mind. Quiet after 11 pm and used the gym in the morning with my black card membership. Clean bathroom and the gym was equipped with lots of gym equipment! Plus you can have access to their WiFi if you park close enough to the gym |

ILDA's pitstop | This is our second time at this great campsite. Great facilities in a fabulous garden. They also have beautiful chalets, all reasonably priced.

plankey13 | We stayed last night for a quite foggy night. Saw 2 hikers, one of whom noticed our out-of-states plates and "made sure to keep her distance" (her words). Dont know if that influenced the police awaken us at 4am or not but... He did let us stay the rest of the night but said there is typically no overnight parking allowed there. There were no "no overnight parking" signs. I would say it's up to you. Getting woken up in the middle of the night is not nice. |

MoStrong_Adventures | The parking lot across from Hotel El Portal no longer lets people sleep in their rigs overnight in the parking lot. The people working at reception at Hotel El Portal were friendly and helpful at suggesting alternative places to park for the night. We didn’t stay at Hotel El Portal, so I can’t comment on their facilities. |

MoStrong_Adventures | The members of the cooperative are very friendly. We were going to arrive after 6pm so I called them to see if we could still camp there. They said yes and also told me that they close at 6pm but there are usually people around until 9pm. 5524 1831. Walter greeted us just after 7pm and showed us where to park, the restrooms, shower and outdoor sink for washing dishes, etc. All facilities were clean. The shower is still just cold water. Camping Q50 for a couple + small dog sleeping in our truck. Coffee tour now Q75pp, including an artisanal method coffee (Chemex, V60, Aeropress, etc.) or fruit licuado after. Claudia was my tour guide and very friendly and informative. Artisanal method coffee in the cafe Q15 per portion, which is about 2 cups. No Claro data service, but able to make calls. Photos added. |

tanty.axel | Amazing hostel, it's also got a kitchen, pool table and lots of hammacs. Q80 for a dorm with fans, Q90 for a dorm with AC. There's private rooms too. You can park your car on the street outside, where there's security cameras. I left my rig there for 6 days while I did the El Mirador hike, wasn't a problem. |

Butch | LBJ NG is a big place, actually places scattered around an area with many private properties. Watch for signs posted. Tadra Point has a pit toilet and water at least for horses. It might have electricity. It is a pay site, cheap, but they will check. North of that is another bonafide campsite called the group campsite. $10 per night, pit toilet, watering trough for horses. Other areas marked as USFS are free with no amenities outside of established fire rings. Some are fairly flat. I could recommend forest service road 920 off Old Decatur Highway. |

sierraindia87 | Came here in March 2021 and the land is SO devastated from all the fires, storms & tornadoes. I’m in a 4x4 Sprinter and it’s a day after a very heavy storm. There was too much mud & water to tread through and I didn’t want to take the risk, so I only made it to just outside the camp. Lots of logging trucks parked around the area on the side of the road.. it was difficult to try and turn around with them parked everywhere. |

2hobos | The dump station has moved, will update record but in case it takes a while, it's just down the road at Old Isabella Road Recreation Site. $10 self pay via a machine that unlocks the lid for a set amount of time. Non potable water spigot. |

/blogs/113052 | Stayed here for a week and a half. There’s a bathroom with running water as well as an outdoor sink and shower. Didn’t see a spot for putting donations, otherwise it’s free. Only downside is the dogs across the road. There’s at least 60 hound dogs kept in tiny cages all day at that persons house. Really loud and saddening. The area is gorgeous though! (Please report them if you suspect abuse as well, we did.) |
